My school utilizes a “House” system where every student and every staff member gets sorted into a house as a way to create a sense of community outside of just your class and grade level. Each house has a color, mascot, cheer, and crest and students earn house points throughout the year. Once a month, we have a “House Day” where we get together with our house in a whole group and small groups to connect with each other.
