(Part Four) Travel In The Know 2025-07-19 | Join Philip Saunders from Travel In The Know as he completes his four day trek up the Belgian Coast from France to the Netherlands. On this final stage, Philip walks from Blankenberge to the Zwin Nature Park on the Dutch border.Facing exhaustion in the sun, Philip explains how his love for travel started in Zeebrugge whilst remembering the victims of the Townsend Thoresen disaster from 1986. We then experience the Port of Zeebrugge in action when an unusually large concrete object is manoeuvred into the outer harbour.We also get to visit the beautiful and highly fashionable resort of Knokke. In no time at all, he finds an amazing bakery in an old windmill and enjoys an impromptu outdoor breakfast in the town of Wenduine.
