Movement 3: The Ballad of Anna - it seems like the storm is going to win, but then the key changes, and it lifts up the mood. This was also the first piece written out of the 9, and was written for a friend.Movement 4: Calm Afterstorm March - the storm is over, you have survived. nothing can stop you now. This song is the “Climax” of the pieceMovement 5: Ignem Excitavit- you start to feel good again, a fire feels like it is going to awaken inside of you.Movement 6:The Phoenix Rises Again - a fire awakens inside of you, you rise up, like a mighty phoenix. Movement 4 is referenced.Movement 7:The Ballad of Anna(Reprise) - Everything is good again, you are happy.Movement 8:Calm After the Last Storm - The last storm you will ever have to endure is over.Movement 9:Ascent to the Afterlife - The finale of the Piece, it signifies the end of Life, and what comes after. Calm Afterstorm March - Full Orchestra version SwordQuilava 2019-09-09 | when i first composed this song i never thought i would be able to fully orchestrate it to this extent, but, here we are.this turned out amazing. i didn't think i was capable of this whatsoever.It begins with a piano and oboe duet, then the glockenspiel starts, followed by the Horns and low strings duet. just after that Trumpet 1 and Clarinet come in as the beginning piano chord played by the trombones, tubas, trumpet 2, tubular bells, Horns and sung by the Choir gets louder, but then the chord goes up a step and the 2nd to last chord plays, followed by a cymbal roll. Then there is silence, and it closes off with a blast of dynamics from the brass section and a solo from the snare drum and crash cymbal.i hope you enjoy this as much as i do.
