Liquid Drum and Bass live with the #akai #apc40 mk2: Snow Moon Post Dub RetlasD 2025-02-16 | Spent a few hours jamming some samples and bass lines for #hardwarejam weekend challenge "elements" - it had to be some liquid drum n bass.Lined up samples and basslines in scenes, then added some FX racks - in particular a customised DJ FX rack from the audio effects menu onto the master channel. This maps macros to the device control knobs and allows some sweet live manipulation of the track - delay, filters, looping / beat repeat.#liquiddrumandbass #ableton12 #akai #livelooping

I also have a playlist featuring more ambient tracks.If you're here for the synths - then hopefully you'll enjoy a simple matriarch patch with modulation from the random wave shape on the LFO to give movement and variation to the sound. Using the midi output to the MC707 so I can play a piano preset on one of the tracks in the 707 means I can doube layer the sound and combine the paraphony of the matriarch with polyphonic patches on the roland. Sweet!

First time mixing live vocals into a jam, flippin' ek that adds another level of multitasking.
