Genshin Impact - Elemental Warfare: Unfinished Business (Animated Short) 6 Bird Studio 2025-09-12 | Lumine attempts to run the pit for the millionth time to try and beat a long standing record. It's left a sour taste in her mouth and feels like “unfinished business..”Hydro here, about a year ago, I worked on the "Fight at the Museum HoYoFair short" I came on a little last minute to help out on a shot, but I never had the opportunity to animated to my full potential and make a sick ass fight scene. That felt like "Unfinished Business." This video here remedies that.I spent about two months working on it, and I am happy with how it came out. And I am so happy for the help my friends gave in making this. Especially @kixville with the sick banger of a OST, @CakeStation for helping on SFX, and Jump for his continued support. Thank you for returning to this video and giving it a watch, I hope you enjoy this labor of love of an animation. The last 6 months I have poured my heart and soul into this project more than any project I have worked on. I truly cannot express the amount of gratitude I feel for being able to share this with you, the Halo community. This project kinda started out as a raging idea I had after seeing some Halo Pixel art, The idea was to make something that we can look back on in 10 years and say "Man remember that Halo Pixel animation vid? Classic YT" I hope I captured that vibe with this project. Animating at limited frames (15 FPS) Was very fun and akin to stop motion. This was the first project I worked on that I truly felt like an artist. I almost can't believe how far I've come in 4 years, the support from my friends, my team means the world to me and I can't thank them enough for allowing me to post this here on the studio channel.I'm a very newly inducted Halo fan, I've only played the game for 4 years but I've felt like I've played it all my life. I can't thank my best friend who I consider my brother enough for popping my Halo cherry and taking that journey with me. Zen I love you with all my heart brother, thank you for showing me the epicness that is Halo. I wanted to express that love with this action animation. It took around 7 months to complete. The idea was originally to base this on Miwa and Mechamaru's relationship/dynamic. This was a clearly one sided match up, everyone who watches the show should know Yuji and Maki are superior in terms of skill. however during their spar Mechamaru's brain and cursed technique comes in handy. His plan was initially to separate Maki and eliminate her with a huge Ultimate cannon blast so he could help Miwa fight Yuji, however when Maki comes back into the picture the fight started to turn back into Yuji and Maki's favor. So Mechamaru had one more trick up his sleeve. Separate Yuji by making him deal with his puppets long enough for him and Miwa to deal with Maki. When Mahito enters. He traps everyone in a veil. However Mechamaru being the genius he is planned for everything and prior gave Gojo a device that would sound an alarm if a veil was raised (That part would never have been understood unless you read this). So The veil shatters and Inumaki and Gojo enter the fight. Clearly Mahito was feeling silly because he decided to actually fight Gojo. Which led to his heart being deleted.
