Molly Burke is a true inspiration for me.
I actually have the same eye disease as her (Retinitis Pigmentosa)
When I first saw Molly it was about 4 years ago on Facebook in a RP GROUP and it was a motivational speech about how she wakes everyday to motivate and inspire with her story of losing her her vision starting at a very young age and how her mother aka momma bear still made sure she lived the fullest of life a child with vision impairment could possibly have! I didn't really have that growing up I kinda fended for myself [Long Story for later] anyways
Molly lost what is her vision today at age 14 and was also going through bullying , when she was left in a forest alone by 5 to 8 different girls to find her own way out, thankfully she was able to text her mother to get out there that was when molly's mother pulled her out of school completely.
Molly went through depression an even darker thoughts but she then met her first dog Gypsy and that really started a path for her going through all the mobility training braille courses ect... preparing her for her vision loss Molly decided she wanted her independence and for people to get to know her for who she is on the inside and out doing pretty much anything she puts her mind to Being AKA "THE BLIND GIRL" is just a part of her.... NOT all of her!
