Banshiryuu Stage 4-5 Normal
updated
Fight against Kou and Rain, the main characters from other Baldr Sky games.
On my first play so my equips are still quite weak.
Score: 2,559,178,896
Stage 4 is really hell. The enemy waves can really screw you over. Stage 4 boss is also quite tricky. First phase you must deal enough damage or the rank will go up which means the boss will have additional attack patterns. Last part is also quite dangerous since you only have 20 seconds to take out all 4 parts using methods or the boss will launch its instakill move.
The fifth boss has ludicrous preposterous outrageous amounts of HP. I was really taken surprise by that. I'd really like to see someone tackle stage 5 without using the doomsday laser you get after stage 4. I know I'm not going to try it.
This was rather tough to clear. One mistake can really screw you over.
The boss itself has almost all attacks you had in the ∀lternative ∀rguments demo. There are some attacks that you can counter and some attacks the boss can counter. The boss doesn't really have a pre-set attack pattern either and it will use differend Method commands depending on situation.
The text in the beginning says
おまえになにがわかる
おまえたちには
このいかりも このかなしみも
このくるしみも このぜつぼうも
いやすことなど できはしないのに
Which can be translated to pretty much "NO! You don't understand! CRAWLING IN MY SKIN THESE WOUNDS WILL NOT HEAL"
There's also lots of Kanji flashing, all of them with very negative meanings to them.
Couldn't find this uploaded yet so I ripped it from the game.
SR Point: Kill at least 2 enemy units with Ibis and at least 1 enemy unit with Raul.

If you are getting ads for some reason it's because this is a copy video and flagged with matched third party content. Either way, I suggest using adblock or other tools to skip and/or get rid of any ads.

Subbed up to 18:30. I added the conversations after the stage but I don't know yet if I will actually sub them. If there still is interest in those I'll consider doing them as well.

Warning from developers:
"Those with Bullet Hell/Danmaku allergy and those who cannot keep up with Bullet Hell/Danmaku please gently toss this game folder into the recycle bin"
Includes new weapons which brings the full count to 13 (17 if you count multiple phase weapons). You will no longer die from one shot in wing mode if you have over 90% shield. METHOD recovery speed increased. Semiautomethod option added. Plus other various gameplay, sound, music and graphical changes.
Score 540'402'040
Not that good of a score and a lot more is possible but I was more focused on using all weapons in balanced way and using stuff I found cool.

I guess I wasn't done with the trial just yet. Many dumbass scoring mistakes that cost me a lot of score. 1.2-1.4B is easily possible.
OMAKE boss @ 6:37 done without Eliminator.
lol@8:25 and 9:50 and especially at 11:24 (So little health left on the boss phase; Killing it with the Boss mode gives you 50M score while killing it with regular shot gives only 2.5M.

OMAKE Boss: 5:42 (I'm not sure about the conditions, it might be high score, it might be having to kill all the parts of the boss, it also might be speedkilling the boss or it could be two or more of those conditions)
Alright, I think I'm done with this trial for now. I'm really enjoying how the game plays overall and definitely looking forward to the full version.
About the run:
I did plenty of mis-inputs in stage 2 and especially stage 3 and kept casting the useless bomb (B.BLAST) instead of what I wanted. Otherwise I'm pretty happy I could no-miss the game, the score was decent but without freezing at points I probably could've reached way over 300 million.

About this run:
I could've probably used J.Driver (Teleport attack) and A.Other (Decoy) a few times but I wanted to play it safe. I didn't manage to take down all the shields of the boss/midboss at 3:20 in time. I haven't managed that either but it should be easily possible. I kinda froze and got hit very stupidly during the boss few times (Almost died at 5:13).
Also what's awesome about this game is that you can turn yourself into boss mode too (You cannot use it more than once though). See 6:11
I wonder if there's still one more form to the boss...
This is from newly released web trial that adds tutorial and later part of stage 3.

I'm going to be playing through the stages of the ZEXIS route as well and see if there's anything worth posting. I'll try to do at least sub the main story related dialogues by the next day or two.
Subbed parts as of now: 3:29 - 8:00 and 50:00 - 53:30 + All of the dialogues out of battle.
Gaiou as final boss this time is quite a lot easier than in Hakai Hen. Probably mostly because you yourself are much much stronger
Dialogues:
8:00 - Turn A
10:17 - Gundam seed destiny
11:53 - Gurren Lagann
14:56 - OO Gundam
16:18 - Dancouga Nova
18:02 - Dancouga
19:45 - Zeta Gundam / Char's counterattack
21:13 - Macross Frontier
22:49 - Gundam seed Destiny (Eternal)
24:48 - Getter Robo Armageddon (Getter Dragon)
26:11 - VOTOMS
27:30 - God Gravion
30:28 - Code Geass
32:11 - Getter Robo
34:02 - Gundam Wing
35:40 - Original, Esther
36:53 - Dancouga Nova (Dragon's Hive)
38:18 - OO Gundam (Ptolemios)
39:30 - Original, Marguerite
41:00 - Original, Rand
43:41 - Original, Setsuko
45:11 - Original, Crow
47:00 - Macross 7
Finisher: 48:30, Boss vs Last Boss
「僕の過去! 僕の罪! 僕の宿命!
そして、僕の絶望を!!」
@8:50
This is now fully subbed, I ran a brief check on the subs and fixed the typos and messed up subs. If you see any mistranslations, typos or fucked up subs then please report back.
Finished subbing and took a quick look for messed up subs and typos. If you see any typos, fucked up subs or mistranslations be sure to leave a comment or message me.
Sorry for missing the dialogues after you deploy your units, here's mostly what happens:
Anbroon will tell Marilyn to stay back and spectate the fight with the prince. Crow wonders how Marilyn is even sticking with Insalaum despite her nature. Anrboon will talk about the Revice Cell and its completion and how with the ZONE all the 500 million citizens of Insalaum can be turned into DAMON. Your team comments it's way bigger than the ones on earth were. Anbroon challanges ZEXIS and declares Insalaum's regeneration starts here, where Crow comments where his empty dreams will finish "The end" here. Marguerite will declare she shall strike down Anbroon that has opened the door that should have never be opened, where Anrboon responds that she will show the true power of the dimensional science. Crow will say he'll have the granny pulled out from the front seat...
11:55 The Abyss mentioned here refers to the black hole kinda thing that appeared in the stage where you first saw Aim and the battleship Eternal. Abyss connects both of the ZEUTH and ZEXIS worlds.
14:33 Marilyn makes a pun at Esther. "だって、おかしいんダモン" Normally you would say "datte okashiida" but she says "datte okashii DAMON" making fun of Esther
Event from the end of the stage involving the Getter team, Marguerite, Uther and Esther.
ZEXIS arrives on Mars only to find out it's being sieged by Invaders. Together both Insalaum and ZEXIS fight the invaders off and are about to head into a new fight...
All attacks of Anbroon's Palace Insalaum and Exa Adamon from Super Robot Wars Z2.2; Saisei Hen
エクサ・アダモン アンブローン パレス・インサラウム 全攻撃集
「・・・もう一度・・・ホットドッグが・・・
食いたかった・・・ぜ・・・」
「I just wanted to eat a hot dog once more...」
That's got to be either the best or the worst last line for a villain ever.
ガイオウ テーマ
I've finished with the subbing now. If you find any translation errors then please let me know.
Note @ 13:06 Asakim is most likely referring to Xine from the first Super Robot Wars Z.
If you are wondering about this event on the ZEXIS route: This event happens earlier in the story but exactly in the way same except a few lines missing here and there due to Rand and Setsuko missing.
All attacks of Ribbon's Reborns Gundam from Super Robot Wars Z2.2; Saisei Hen
Couldn't find a video of the attacks and after it was such a pain to make him use the GN Buster Rifle I thought I might as well upload all the attacks myself.
ナイトオブナイツ、 ジェラウド、 ウェイン、 ディアムンド テーマ
ウェイン、 サフィアーダ テーマ
Wayne is Cheval's (シュバル) pupil who was one of the villains in the first part of the game (Hakai Hen).
Probably my favorite character out of all the new originals in the game.
Wayne's final words:
「土は土に、灰は灰に、塵は塵に・・・。
俺は・・・インサラウムと。。。一つになって・・・
再世の・・・未来を・・・祈って・・・いく・・・」
「Earth to earth, ashes to ashes, dust to dust;
I will become one with Insalaum
going in hope of the Resurrection to eternal life」
Which is almost a direct quote from the Book of Common Prayer.
Uther started as a wimpy price being controlled by the prime minister. After #1 Arc Saber knight dies he finally starts growing some balls. ZEXIS gets flown into Insalaum dimension and they decide to save Ester & Eureka and to get the "Gentle prince being controlled by the prime minister" back to his senses.
Gaiou shows up, and Uther gets revenge for his country and father after awakening his sphere. After he and Crow turn Esther back into human. Helping Crow with Esther was "Uther's last kindness".
Also Aim seems to be getting spanked every stage.
I really suck at translating to English and I'm not that all good at Japanese but here's a try to translating the chant from 1:25
太陽の万物のために
そして
王の愛は民のために
愚者の歩みし者よ
浄福の光を似て、なんじを救わん
For the sake of all sun's creations/things
And
King's love is for the sake of the people
You who walk the path of the fool
By the light of noble fortune, thou will not be saved
Please mention if you see a mistranslation, since there probably is.
[王の愛は民のために] translates into 'King's love is for the sake of the people'
Carlos arrives with Traiya's new weapon and stops Crow from sacrificing himself to stop the ZONE, and instead sacrifices himself. After, Crow pulls the full potential of his Sphere (揺れる天秤, Swaying scales) and pulls off real Type Li Brasta's (Blue) final attack, Unbreakable Fulcrum (?) (アンブレイカブル・フルクラム).
This is the final stage of chapter 12 in VC3. Tried to go for S-Rank (Clear in 4 turns) but didn't make it, maybe if I had played better and had good luck but that was just way too hard.
Level 75 hell challenge stage where you fight all last bosses from Dive 1 (First part of the main game) at once.
Mecha: Muramasa
I probably should've equipped initializer. The pull move doesn't work on Isao so it might've been smarter to use a bit different moveset too to be able to close in easier as well.
Alltynex is a Vertically Scrolling Shooter released for the FM Towns in 1997 and was developed by perhaps a precursor to Siter Skain. It is referred to as Project Raid Wind 2, after their first game Raid Wind. Alltynex was the second game created by Siter Skain and is the precursor to Alltynex 2nd. The game is interesting in that the fighter can change into a mecha which has more powerful weapons but is generally slower

Rayxanber II was released in 1991 for NEC PC-Engine/TurboGrafx 16. Rayxanber is the name of a series of scrolling shooter type video games in which the first installment was released in 1990. The games were developed by Japanese software company Data West. The format of the games are horizontally aligned in vein of shooters like Gradius and R-Type. The game series details the on-going war between mankind and a race of invading aliens belonging to the Zoul Empire. The player's primary enemy consisted of bioships and enormous organic fortresses.

Slightly better demonstration of high score in stage 1 of Crimzon Clover original mode.
I also have a video of Unlimited stage 1 with 835oku using Type I if anyone is interested
Here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YC9rqj_r8pU
Score: 502oku
This is still very far from ideal scoring.
Using the Type Z ship here.

Comments:
One horrible miss when st4 midboss was dying. Overall stage 5 performance was decent but I messed up the most important part of the game scoring wise when I missed getting the 5.6x multiplier at 27:10 so I lost propably hundreds of oku (億) and I don't even want to imagine how much I lost with the lowered break multiplier.
I got my ass handed to me by the TLB, I really hate that attack where it tries to collide with my ship.
Scoring wise stages 1 to 4 were pretty mediocre but I did avoid big mistakes. Stage 5 would've been near perfect if I just handled the tank correctly (and dying to it in the process -_-).
I could use any tips for scoring paths and break timings if anyone has some!
ps. I apologize for the low quality, I squeezed this into 700MB (The 4:30 long video I posted before was 550MB) . I hope this is still watchable
http://yotsubane.blog99.fc2.com
Still this is far from ideal and includes quite a few small mistakes. I believe at least 1500 oku after the midboss is possible with my current strategies and propably a lot more in case I missed something.
Score: 201oku
This isn't very ideal run so there are a lot of mistakes involved.
Ignore the high score. I haven't really managed to get to play for score beoynd stage 2.

Meanwhile in bizzaro world...
Ketsui, EspGaluda and DDP DOJ & DOJ: BL got added to MAME at v.140u2
For Ketsui:
Emulation speed seems to be somewhat stable. Bosses and 1st, 4th and 5th stage midbosses seem to work better than other stuff.
There's only 1 frame of input lag (like Dodonachi for example), so it would be pretty cool to play this properly on MAME some day.
Version 1.03
Laser Type ship.
This is the Extra stage that unlocks after clearing the game.
Lots of mistakes.
The game's pretty fun but a bit mediocre shmup that came out during C78. Thanks to Observer aka GloriousLight (on YT) for sharing the game.
ever have that kind of perfect run where everything is going almost too well?
then it all goes crashing down
also showcasing kamikaze simulator mode where you attempt to die at the first possible bullet (the moment your invincibility goes off) at stage 5.
From what I understood the timeline with Siter skain games goes Alltynex-RefleX-Kamui. Basically in alltynex you destroy the alltynex mother computer, in RefleX it gets rebuilt and in Kamui you destroy it again.
I've now managed to beat HELL mode on a complete run. Replay can be found here:

Trying to figure out how to get a decent score, messed up a few times, specially in the end. Scoring system is somewhat mixture of Kamui (High multipliers with full power lock-on's) and ESP. Galuda (Bullet canceling).
