In this video, I take a classic piece of Japanese woodblock art and reinterpret it as a large, 3D-printed wall piece. Instead of copying the artwork, I wanted to reduce it, simplify it, and translate it into physical layers that react to light and depth. I’ll walk you through the full process from choosing the artwork and understanding color, to preparing the prints, assembling the tiles, and building a simple frame.

In this video, I turn a simple sheet of plywood into a $130 premium product using a 3D printer.
Instead of making another typical 3D printed object, I wanted to explore something more intentional: combining woodworking, CNC milling, and 3D printing to create a product that feels refined and worth selling.
I walk through the entire process, from sketching and product design, to CNC machining the plywood base, dialing in tolerances for the printed inserts, sanding everything flush, applying a hardwood oil finish, and designing weighted 3D printed game pieces for better haptics.
Total material cost was around $14. Would you consider this a viable small business idea?

For this project, I’m using the Elegoo Centauri Carbon 2 to find out. Elegoo sent me the printer for this build and I wanted to push it beyond small decorative prints into actual functional furniture. Instead of printing everything, I focused on printing only the parts that truly benefit from 3D printing: the structural connectors. The rest is simple wood you can buy at any hardware store.
Before committing to the full-size table, I printed a complete 20% scale prototype using the new CANVAS multi-color system to test geometry, tolerances and color separation on structural parts.
Let’s see if a beginner-friendly machine can really handle furniture.

In this video, I explore what happens when you print ultra-thin sheets and shape them afterwards using heat turning a flat 3D print into a functional origami-style wallet. The entire project started with a failed print: just a single layer of PETG. Instead of throwing it away, I started experimenting, bending, heating, folding and quickly realized that 3D printing doesn’t have to end when the print finishes. I tested different materials like PETG, TPU, ASA and Polypropylene, experimented with heat forming, integrated fold guide lines directly into the model and stress-tested the final design to see if it could survive daily use. Every maker knows the problem. Those leftover bits of filament that are too small for a new print but too much to throw away. In this project, I designed a lampshade with vertical grooves that let you reuse old filament pieces as part of the design itself. The result is a clean, minimal pendant lamp that turns 3D printing waste into light.
This project combines 3D printing, design, and sustainability - showing how small ideas can transform everyday materials into something beautiful. Printed on a standard 0.4 mm nozzle using PLA, but it also works great with PETG for extra heat resistance.
