Recording Tips - Record on a device that has HD capability. Your computer's webcam or mobile phone should do. - If you're using a phone or tablet then make sure to keep it in landscape orientation. - When using a mobile be sure to use the rear facing camera. - Be sure to use a tripod or a steady tool on which to rest your recording device. - Make sure your room is well lit so we can see you! - Use an editing tool (many are now built into computers and mobiles) to snip out any mistakes or dull bits. - Consider the space you're filming in. Make sure it's bright and friendly, without making any personal information visible. - Don't forget to smile and have fun! - Once the video is ready please send the final video file rather than uploading to YouTube. We'll take care of that! - All entries should be sent to nintendogirlsclub@nintendo.co.uk
Terms and Conditions:
1. The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom excluding employees and the immediate families of the Promoter, its agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion.
2. If you are under 18 you are representing that you have consent from your parents/guardian to enter the promotion in accordance with our terms and conditions and privacy policy.
3. By entering the promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
4. The promotion is open from Friday 7 August 2015 until Thursday 31 December 2015 at 23:59.
5. Entry is free and no purchase is necessary.
6. Entry is by email to nintendogirlsclub@nintendo.co.uk. Entrants will need to register for an email account. The Promoter cannot guarantee uninterrupted or secure access to this entry route.
7. Winning entries will be selected by an independent person according to which they consider to be the most original, creative and entertaining.
8. If you are a winner you will be notified by email when your video is uploaded to the Nintendo Girls Club YouTube channel. If a winner does not respond to contact made by the Promoter within 28 days the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to a substitute winner.
9. There is no cash or other prize alternatives. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize for an alternative of equal or greater value.
10. The Promoter reserves the right to exclude any entries which it considers to be offensive.
11. All entries must be made directly by the person entering the competition. Entries made online using methods generated by a script, macro or the use of automated devices will be void. No responsibility can be accepted for entries lost, delayed or corrupted, or due to computer error in transit.
12. The promoter reserves the right to verify all entries and the winner, including, but not limited to, age and eligibility to enter, and to refuse to award the prize, or withdraw prize entitlement, where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or any instructions forming part of this promotions entry requirements.
13. You agree that the Promoter may, but is not required to, make your entry available on its Nintendo Girls Club YouTube channel and on or in any other media, whether now known or invented in the future, and in connection with any publicity of the competition, Nintendo or its products. You agree to grant the Promoter a non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable, royalty free licence, for the full period of any intellectual property rights in the competition entry to use, display, publish, transmit, copy, edit, alter, store, re-format and sub-licence the competition entry for such purposes.
14. The name and county of the winner will be available to anyone who writes to the Promoter within 28 days after the closing date of the competition and who encloses a self-addressed envelope to the address set out below. If you are a winner, you agree that the Promoter may use your name and county of residence to announce the winners of the competition and for any other reasonable and related promotional purposes.
15. The Promoter and its associated companies and agents excludes all responsibility for and all liabilities arising from any postponement, cancellation, delay or changes to the prize details, or arising from use of the prize, to the extent permitted by English law.
