To celebrate Legends of Metru Nui's 20th Anniversary, I've done this Everything Wrong With video. I had seen another YouTube user do the same, but this is my own take.In defense of Miramax, the design of the Matoran compared to the actual sets might have been done to save time and the same goes for Ultimate Dume being presented as Makuta from Mask of Light with added wings. These nitpicks don't make the movie bad. I quite enjoyed this movie and it was fun to watch.I also happen to notice that some things from Mask of Light are repeated in Legends of Metru Nui. I didn't list them in this video as I don't think they necessarily were things wrong with the movie. But I'll list them off here.1. Both movies have points where Makuta mentally says the protagonist's name, saying "Takua" in Mask of Light and "Vakama" in Legends of Metru Nui.2. Both movies have there be a point where a Turaga puts the end of his staff on the chest of a Toa. In Mask of Light, this was with Vakama to Takanuva; and in Legends of Metru Nui, this was with Lhikan to Whenua.3. Both movies has a scene where the protagonist watches as someone close to him dies and leaves behind their mask. Takua watching Jaller die in Mask of Light, and Vakama watching Lhikan die in Legends of Metru Nui. Here is the Sonic the Hedgehog/TUGS: The Lighthouse Edit edition of The Day the Storm Came. This one was interesting to make at least since in Salty's Lighthouse, Johnny Cuba, who was an antagonist in the original, is portrayed as a friendly character called Steamer. I remember that when I did Sonic the Hedgehog/Salty's Lighthouse Parodies back in 2009, I used Captain Rescue as Steamer because I thought their voices sound similar. However, it isn't the same actor since Captain Rescue was voiced by Gary Chalk, while Steamer was played by the late French Tickner. Not sure how I thought their voices sounded similar. Speaking of similar-sounding voices, during the scene with the Princess Alice, I wasn't sure if it was Ten Cents or Zebedee who said "Steady as she goes" since their voices sounded too similar. This time, it is because it is the same voice actor, Ian James Corlett, who also happened to voice Coconuts in Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog and I think this is probably one of the few times if not the only time in this series where the Sonic the Hedgehog character and the TUGS character they are portraying were played by the same actor. Brony 2024-07-14 | This video is meant for all ages! #madeforkidsmustgo After a break from doing these, here is the fourth video in the Sonic the Hedgehog/TUGS: The Lighthouse Edit Parody series. This time on the episode, Catch the Train, which is based on the original TUGS episode, High Tide.Something I noticed when doing this one is that Ten Cents and Sunshine, who appeared in every episode of the original TUGS series do not make an appearance in this one. It could be because they didn't appear in any of the Salty's Lighthouse episodes that Lucky Tug used to make the Lighthouse Edit video. I remember seeing the episode that was about Zak and Zeebee trying to go under the bridge and then Top Hat worked to get the load under the bridge to hold it up long enough for the mail train to go over, but the bridge didn't fall apart after that. That happened in a different episode where the Z-Stacks were not the cause of the bridge breaking as they were in the original episode, but rather the bridge was going under repair, and Top Hat and Lord Stinker just happened to have arrived as the temporary support tipped over and the bridge began to break. Brony 2024-07-13 | This video is meant for all ages! #MadeForKidsMustGoWhen a robot called Six Gun Pete scares off the previous sheriff of Traquill Gulch, Sonic fills in as the temporary sheriff until a new permanent sheriff can be found.This has to be the hardest and longest one in the series to make especially with so many repeated mistakes that I had to eventually add points for all the repeated mistakes at once because it would have taken me forever to list them all off individually and my audience would probably get bored watching after a while. There was a lot of extra editing that needed to be done with some mistakes being noticed very late in editing, hence why I mention them in red or gold text on the screen, but I still had to adjust the numbers one by one. There was even a point where I had added a point for no reason, so I had to do even more editing to fix that.I've had to revise this video for the following reasons.1. I pronounced Saloon as "Salon".2. I said the cards blinked instead of winked.3. I spelled "oar" as "ore". I assumed that it was spelled as "ore" in both scenarios.4. I removed the question marks from any sentences that didn't need them.5. I fixed the end slate.The next episode will be Black Bot the Pirate. This is on the episode, Parade Day, which is based on the original TUGS episode, Regatta. When editing this episode, like with the first two episodes, there were a lot of scenarios where I needed to bring in new footage that didn't come from the original Sonic the Hedgehog/TUGS Parody that I had done.One major thing about Salty's Lighthouse's many changes to characters would be that the Coast Guard and his Messanger were made into one single character, Cappy. It is the Coast Guard Messanger who actually appears in the footage, but I used Updyke for Cappy, who was used as the Coast Guard in the original series for both portrayals. I didn't have any plans to do the same for Salty's Lighthouse since it had various TUGS segments that it would take a long time for me to do all of them, but since @TheLuckyTug had done a video series called The Lighthouse Edit, I decided to do FL versions of all of those episodes as well.For anyone who hasn't seen the Lighthouse Edit series, it is taking the TUGS segments from the various episodes of Salty's Lighthouse and putting them together to try and recreate the original TUGS episodes as closely as possible based on the changes made to the TUGS characters such as the character's name, personality, and gender. Since the episodes were all made with the intention of bringing in as many of the original elements as possible, I had figured that if I was to do a parody series, it would make sense to just stick with the character casting from the original TUGS series. When I did Salty Lighthouse Parody videos back in 2009-2011, I did change some of the characters from how they were in the original series. I remember that for Ten Cents and Sunshine, rather than have it be Sonic and Tails again, I had it be their children, Sonic Jr and Sarah, Sonic OCs from DeviantArt user, BrisblyBraveheart. Because they were fan characters, they depended on still images with their mouths opening and closing. Thinking back at that, I will admit that might not have been the best way to animate, but I had learned how to make more professional animations, but they do take a while. Since this revised version sticks to the original casting, I just have Sonic and Tails as Ten Cents and Sunshine again. I think that I can get away with having Tails referred to as female since very often, when a show is redubbed into a new language, some of the characters' genders are changed from the original dub. I suspect that there are some dubs of Sonic the Hedgehog where Tails is changed to female. I do not know of any language dubs where Tails was female, but I'm sure there are some out there. Legend of Zelda: Majoras Mask MMD - Receptionist Gets An Update Eli J. Brony 2024-05-18 | Yesterday, SAB64 on DeviantArt released an MMD model of the mayor's receptionist from Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. It was a Patreon reward that he brought out. I was the one who asked for it. Although I had managed to get the receptionist model converted myself, the new model that SAB64 had provided allowed for a lot more expressions and it does give us an idea of what the reception lady would look like if she either appeared in another Zelda game or if Majora's Mask got another remake.In this short video, I have Mumbo Jumbo from Banjo-Kazooie use his magic to change the reception lady from how she looked in the 3DS version to the SAB64 version.I do plan on remaking my other videos about the reception lady at some point in the future, but I won't get to work on them immediately since I have other projects to work on.Something that I noticed when this came out is that the model doesn't show the reception lady's belly button, which is visible in both the Nintendo 64 and 3DS versions of the game. It may be hard to tell because she is always standing behind the desk, but it is possible to see it. MikuMikuDance Receptionist Model Test (Legend of Zelda: Majoras Mask) Eli J. Brony 2024-03-23 | This here is a test on me rigging the bones to the Mayor's Receptionist model from Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D. I had been slowly learning how to get these models to work and how to get the model to actually move properly.In this video, only the head has been rigged while the rest of the body hasn't. Since I recorded this video, I was also able to rig the upper and lower torso. All that is left is to get the arms and legs rigged.I was not certain I was able to get this done myself. I had been waiting for years to see somebody convert this character either in Garry's Mod or MikuMikuDance. While I have seen @mmdsage160 get this character into MMD, they unfortunately haven't provided a download link and as of this video's upload, hasn't uploaded anything to their channel since 2021. I suppose I have learned that if I really want to do something that seems impossible, I got to keep on trying and trying even if I keep making mistakes. A lot of the time, even when following instruction videos, I keep doing what I think I need to do next, but appear to do something wrong and I keep asking myself, "What am I doing wrong? Am I doing anything wrong? MMD - Bongo Belly Carmelita Fox Eli J. Brony 2024-03-03 | Here is another MikuMikuDance video that I was able to make. For this one, I actually did a couple of recordings for different scenes. The walk cycle you can get from @mmdmotiondatacenter1831. The rest of the motions I made myself. I am not sure if I'll be able to provide a download link for the bongo belly motion, but maybe in the future. During editing, I did have some scenes repeat themselves such as different phases of the video.The last scene where Carmelita walks up to the counter is meant to be scene from the point of view of the person running the bar. TUGS and Thomas Reused Models Revised Eli J. Brony 2024-02-25 | This video is directed to a general audience! This here is a revised version of the TUGS and Thomas Cameos video I made back in 2010. I had to disable the comments on the original video because there was a certain incorrection I made that people never shut up about. But twice there was one person, not going to say who, but it was the same person both times, who posted a comment on my then-most recent video stating this incorrection that was the reason I disabled comments! So I went ahead and made this revised version not only making corrections to errors I made in the original video, but also adding in some new information as well.The mistakes I made in the original video1. I claimed that Zebedee's model was used in the Thomas and Friends episode, Something In The Air, but when editing this video, I looked up on the TTTE wiki and the TUGS wiki, but found no evidence to support this. So I guess I was wrong. I remember somebody said that Zebedee's model was used in that episode. If that's incorrect, I have no idea why they claimed that it was.2. I said that Sir Handel's model from Season 4 was made into Proteus before being made into Sir Handel again for Season 10. This was because, at the time, I didn't know about the Large-Scale Narrow-Gauge Engine models.3. I said that Puffa's model was used for the Scrap Engine in the episode, "Edward, Trevor, and the Really Useful Party" when the engine in question was actually Marklin. This was the incorrection that caused the comments on the original video to be disabled because too many people skipped reading the description. I even made a thumbnail that said "I get it! This is not Puffa! I don't need to be told that a million times!" But not even that worked! If you are wondering why I said that it was Puffa, it was because the community assumed that engine was Puffa at the time the original video came out. They confirmed it to be the Marklin Engine "AFTER" the original video was uploaded. Anytime somebody told me that I was wrong about that engine being Puffa, I just get really annoyed! That's like being asked what red and blue make and you answer green, and then people keep telling you that red and blue don't make green until you become an old man! So please people! Stop telling me that the scrap engine isn't Puffa! I GET IT! I MADE A MISTAKE! It isn't something I need to keep being told about! If I had a nickel for every time I got told about that mistake after being told that enough times, I probably would have a million dollars in nickels! Or at least it feels like I've been told this enough times to give me that many nickels!Read descriptions before commenting! Don't be a description-skipping commenter!
