Τα εγκαίνια της έκθεσης θα πραγματοποιηθούν από την Α.Θ.Π., τον Οικουμενικό Πατριάρχη κ.κ. Βαρθολομαίο και θα ομιλήσουν
ο Αρχιμανδρίτης Εφραίμ Καθηγούμενος της Ι.Μ. Βατοπαιδίου
και ο Υφυπουργός Εσωτερικών (αρμόδιος για τα θέματα Μακεδονίας - Θράκης ) κ. Κωνσταντίνος Γκιουλέκας.

Η έκθεση φωτογραφίας του Γιάννη Γιαννάτου «Άγιον Όρος – Πέρα από το Ορατό», που παρουσιάστηκε την άνοιξη στο Ζάππειο και συγκέντρωσε το ενδιαφέρον του κοινού μεταφέρεται στη Θεσσαλονίκη, από τις 27 Σεπτεμβρίου στην αίθουσα εκθέσεων του Υπουργείου Εσωτερικών (Τομέας Μακεδονίας και Θράκης, Διοικητήριο) σε συνδιοργάνωση της Ιεράς Μεγίστης Μονής Βατοπαιδίου και του Υπουργείου Εσωτερικών, Τομέας Μακεδονίας και Θράκης με την υποστήριξη και χορηγία του Ιδρύματος Αιγέας. Τα εγκαίνια της έκθεσης θα πραγματοποιηθούν από την Α.Θ.Π., τον Οικουμενικό Πατριάρχη κ.κ. Βαρθολομαίο.

Η έκθεση παρουσιάζει ένα δίχρονο φωτογραφικό οδοιπορικό του Γιάννη Γιαννάτου στο Άγιον Όρος, το οποίο παραχωρήθηκε δωρεά από τον φωτογράφο στην Ιερά Μεγίστη Μονή Βατοπαιδίου, ως πολιτιστική παρακαταθήκη για τις επόμενες γενεές. Μέσα από ασπρόμαυρες εικόνες υψηλής αισθητικής, αποτυπώνονται η καθημερινότητα, τα διακονήματα, η λειτουργική ζωή και το πνευματικό βάθος της μοναστικής πολιτείας.

Το έργο αυτό αναδεικνύει με σεβασμό την πνευματική γεωμετρία του Άθωνα, συνδέοντας την πίστη, την τέχνη και τον πολιτισμό με έναν διακριτικό, ανθρώπινο και μη προσωποκεντρικό τρόπο.

Αυτή η έκθεση διοργανώνεται για το κοινό όχι μόνο για να δει, αλλά για να μπορέσει να αισθανθεί και να βιώσει κάτι από το "Πέρα από το Ορατό".

Η Σοφία Βέμπο, η «φωνή της νίκης», επιστρέφει μέσα από τη μνήμη, τη μουσική και τον λόγο σε μια βραδιά αφιερωμένη στην αλήθεια και την ψυχή της Ελλάδας.
Η παράσταση «Σοφία Βέμπο – Η φωνή που νίκησε τον φασισμό», με αφορμή τον ομώνυμο δίσκο που κυκλοφόρησε το 2020 με τη Σοφία Μάνου, από το Ινστιτούτο Άγιος Μάξιμος ο Γραικός, θα παρουσιαστεί την Τρίτη 14 Οκτωβρίου, στις 20:00, στο θέατρο Παλλάς, ξυπνώντας μνήμες από το έπος του ’40 και φέρνοντας στο φως την αιώνια δύναμη της τέχνης απέναντι στο σκοτάδι.

Τα τραγούδια ερμηνεύει με μοναδικό τρόπο η Σοφία Μάνου, που με τη βαθιά ευαισθησία και την ξεχωριστή φωνή της, φέρνει στο σήμερα τις αγωνίες, τις ελπίδες και την υπερηφάνεια μιας γενιάς που έγραψε ιστορία με το θάρρος της.
Συνοδοιπόρος της η Ορχήστρα «ΚΑΝΩΝ» υπό τη διεύθυνση του σπουδαίου συνθέτη και κιθαριστή Μανόλη Ανδρουλιδάκη και την καλλιτεχνική διεύθυνση του Γεώργιου Δεμελή.

Μέσα από την αφήγηση της Ναταλίας Δραγούμη και του Βασίλη Τραϊφόρου, ανιψιού της Σοφίας Βέμπο και του Μίμη Τραϊφόρου, καθώς και μέσα από τα κείμενα του τελευταίου στο βιογραφικό βιβλίο «Μ. Τραϊφόρος – Σ. Βέμπο: Της Ελλάδος παιδιά», ο θεατής ζει με γλαφυρότητα άγνωστες πτυχές της ζωής της σπουδαίας ερμηνεύτριας.

Συμμετέχουν, η 50μελής Μικτή Νεανική Χορωδία της Ιεράς Αρχιεπισκοπής Αθηνών υπό τη διεύθυνση του Παύλου Κόρδη και η 80μελής Χορωδία "Choeur du Cœur της Ελληνογαλλικής Σχολής Saint Joseph", υπό τη διεύθυνση της Ιφιγένειας Κουρούση και του Αναστάσιου Σιδηρόπουλου, όπου με τις φωνές τους υφαίνουν ένα συγκινητικό χαλί μνήμης και ελπίδας.

Τα έσοδα θα διατεθούν στην Μονάδα Ανακουφιστικής Φροντίδας «Γαλιλαία».

Τη Δευτέρα 24 Νοεμβρίου 2025 και ώρα 8:00 μ.μ., η ΙΕΡΑ ΜΕΓΙΣΤΗ ΜΟΝΗ ΒΑΤΟΠΑΙΔΙΟΥ διοργανώνει μία ξεχωριστή βραδιά αφιερωμένη στον Άγιο Παΐσιο, μέσα από την προβολή ταινίας με σκηνές που δεν είδαμε στην τηλεόραση και τα ωραιότερα αποσπάσματα της τηλεοπτικής σειράς «Άγιος Παΐσιος – Από τα Φάρασα στον Ουρανό», η οποία άγγιξε βαθιά τις καρδιές εκατομμυρίων ανθρώπων και προκάλεσε συγκίνηση σε όλη την Ελλάδα.

Στη σημερινή εποχή, κατά την οποία η ανθρωπότητα δοκιμάζεται από κρίσεις χωρίς προηγούμενο, η απομάκρυνση από το πνευματικό νόημα της ζωής και η αποξένωση από τον Θεό αποτελούν βαθύτερες αιτίες αυτής της παγκόσμιας κρίσης. Η πίστη αναδεικνύεται ως καταφύγιο παρηγοριάς, ελπίδας και θεραπείας, για όλους τους παντοιοτρόπως θλιβομένους ανθρώπους μέσα από τη θαυματουργική προστασία της Παναγίας και ιδιαίτερα μέσω της Αγίας Της Ζώνης.

Πολλοί πιστεύουν ότι ζούμε σε μία μεταχριστιανική εποχή, ουσιαστικά όμως το μήνυμα του Χριστιανισμού δεν έχει αφομοιωθεί ακόμα από την ανθρωπότητα.
Ο π. Νικόλαος τονίζει ότι ο Χριστιανισμός δεν είναι μία ιδεολογία, ένα κοινωνικό σύστημα, ένα σύστημα κοσμικών αξιών, ηθικής και αστυνόμευσης, δεν είναι πολιτισμός, αλλά είναι κάτι βαθύτερο και υψηλότερο. Δεν αποτελεί μία θρησκεία φυγής, μία θρησκεία που προσφέρει αποθέωση, που δημιουργεί τον περιούσιο λαό του Θεού, αλλά ο Χριστιανισμός είναι η ίδια η παρουσία του Θεού στον κόσμο, η οποία μαρτυρείται από ανθρώπους που έχουν την εμπειρία της θεοπτίας.

Saint Maxim The Greek Institute 2025-05-31 | Την Παρασκευή 9 Μαΐου 2025 παρουσιάστηκε η νέα έκδοση της Ιεράς Μεγίστης Μονής Βατοπαιδίου «Κεφάλαια περί αγάπης» του Αγίου Μαξίμου Ομολογητού από τον Χρήστο Αραμπατζή, καθηγητή της Θεολογικής Σχολής ΑΠΘ και τον π. Νικόλαο Λουδοβίκο, καθηγητή Θρησκειολογίας του Πανεπιστημίου Ιωαννίνων στο πλαίσιο της 21ης Διεθνής Έκθεσης Βιβλίου Θεσσαλονίκης στο περίπτερο των εκδόσεων Εν Πλω.

Τα «Κεφάλαια περί αγάπης» του Αγίου Μαξίμου Ομολογητού περιλαμβάνονται στη σειρά «Χριστιανική Γραμματεία» της Ι.Μ. Μονής Βατοπαιδίου.
Ο π. Νικόλαος Λουδοβίκος έχει γράψει εκτενή εισαγωγή και έχει σχολιάσει τα «Κεφάλαια περί αγάπης» στην εν λόγω έκδοση.
Την μεταγλώττιση των «Κεφαλαίων» έκανε η φιλόλογος Άννα Λουδοβίκου.

Τα «Κεφάλαια περί αγάπης», όπως δηλώνει ο π. Νικόλαος, δεν αποτελούν «όχι μόνον κλασικό, αλλά στην κυριολεξία σύγχρονο, ένα πνευματικό δοκίμιο για το μέγα πρόβλημα της φιλαυτίας ή –σέ σύγχρονη γλώσσα– του ναρκισσισμού, πρόβλημα που διαλύει σήμερα τα ίδια τα θεμέλια όχι μόνον του σύγχρονου εαυτού, αλλά και της σύγχρονης φιλοσοφίας της ιστορίας, ακόμη δε και της σημερινής πολιτικής και οικονομικής θεωρίας».

The Pallas Theatre was filled with emotion, devotion and music as Andreas Katsigiannis' new music work "With Glory", based on texts by Alexandros Fotinos, was presented with great success in a sold-out performance on Monday, 17 February 2025. The work, which completes the "Great Hours" trilogy, captivated the audience with its deep emotional power, musically following the course of Christ's last days, His Passion, from drama and sacrifice, to His Resurrection, to light and eternity, to His Ascension and Pentecost.

The performance highlighted the harmonious partnership between Eastern tradition and Western music, creating a unique atmosphere. An important part of the evening's success was played by the top performers, who provided the audience with a high quality spiritual and artistic experience.

Dimitris Bassis, the internationally renowned baritone Dimitris Platanias, Aspasia Stratigou and Yiannis Dionysiou took to the stage of the Pallas. They were joined by the excellent Ribale Wehbé from Lebanon, who captivated the audience with her performance of Holy Week hymns.

The narrator was the actor Tasos Nousias, who added a dramatic dimension to the work and enhanced the theatricality of the performance. The concert was accompanied by the 30-member "Chorus Vivendi" of Yannis Vryzakis, while 14 top Greek musicians, led by conductor Stathis Soulis and orchestrated by Dimitris Siambos, gave life and infinite dynamics to the compositions of Andreas Katsigiannis.

The audience, which had filled the Pallas Theater early, applauded the performers, confirming that 'With Glory' will be a work of timeless value, honouring tradition and touching people's souls.

Η Ακολουθία του Ιερού Νιπτήρος τελέσθηκε το απόγευμα της Μεγάλης Πέμπτης στον αύλειο χώρο, επί εξεδρας έμπροσθεν των θυρών του καθολικού, της Ιεράς Μεγίστης Μονής Βατοπαιδίου υπό του Μητροπολίτου Λεμεσού κου Αθανασίου, πλαισιουμένου υπό του Καθηγουμένου Γέροντος Εφραίμ Βατοπαιδινού και άλλων πατέρων της Αδελφότητος. Η ακολουθία του Ιερού Νιπτήρος αποτελεί μια από τις ωραιότερες και παραστατικότερες ακολουθίες της Ορθοδόξου Εκκλησίας. Οι ρίζες της εντοπίζονται στους πρώτους αιώνες διάδοσης του χριστιανισμού· με ποικίλες προσθήκες, αφαιρέσεις και παραλλαγές η συγκεκριμένη ακολουθία αναπαριστάται αδιαλείπτως από αιώνων με μεγάλη επισημότητα το πρωινό της Μεγάλης Πέμπτης στην Αγία Αυλή του Ναού της Αναστάσεως στα Ιεροσόλυμα και στο ιερό νησί της Πάτμου και αλλού, σε ανάμνηση της πράξης του Κυρίου, που έπλυνε τα πόδια των μαθητών του στο υπερώο του Μυστικού Δείπνου.
Σε ένδειξη ταπεινοφροσύνης και αγάπης ο Κύριος μας, Ιησούς Χριστός, σηκώνεται από το τραπέζι του δείπνου, αποχωρίζεται τα ιμάτια Του, ζώνεται το λέντιον και πλένει τα πόδια των μαθητών Του. Δεν είναι μια τελετουργική πράξη, αλλά συμβολική έκφραση ταπεινοφροσύνης.
Η ταπείνωση είναι μίμηση Χριστού. Το μήνυμα της ακολουθίας του Νιπτήρος είναι σαφές για να γίνει μέτοχος ο άνθρωπος της Βασιλείας του Θεού πρέπει να ταπεινώσει εαυτόν να αποκτήσει ταπείνωση που ανεβάζει τον άνθρωπο στον Θεό και τον κάνει δεκτικό της χάριτος. Κύρια έκφραση της ταπείνωσης είναι η διακονία του αδελφού, όπως κάνει ο Χριστός, ο οποίος αν και ο διδάσκαλος νιπτει τους πόδας των μαθητών, διδάσκοντας τον άνθρωπο την αξία της ταπείνωσης και της διακονίας του αδελφού.

The Service of the Sacred Washing of the Disciples' feet in the Monastery of Vatopaidi (Mount Athos 2025)

The Service of the Sacred Washing of the Disciples' feet was held on the afternoon of Holy Thursday in the courtyard, on a platform in front of the doors of the Catholicon, of the Holy Great Monastery of Vatopaidi by the Metropolitan of Limassol, Mr Athanasios, flanked by the Abbot Elder Ephraim of Vatopaidi and other Fathers of the Brotherhood. The Holy Washing Service is one of the most beautiful and expressive services of the Orthodox Church. Its roots can be traced back to the first centuries of the spread of Christianity; with various additions, subtractions and variations, this particular sequence has been performed uninterruptedly for centuries with great solemnity on the morning of Holy Thursday in the Holy Courtyard of the Church of the Resurrection in Jerusalem and on the holy island of Patmos and elsewhere, in memory of the act of the Lord who washed the feet of his disciples in the Upper Room of the Last Supper.
As a sign of humility and love, our Lord, Jesus Christ, rises from the table, takes off his clothes, girds his linen and washes the feet of his disciples. It is not a ritual act, but a symbolic expression of humility.
Humility is an imitation of Christ. The message of the Nipteros service is clear: in order to become a partaker of the Kingdom of God, man must humble himself, to acquire a humility that lifts man up to God and makes him receptive to grace. The main expression of humility is the ministry of the brother, like Christ, who, although he was the teacher, washed the disciples' feet and taught man the value of humility and the ministry of the brother.

Τι θα δούμε επί σκηνής

Το πρόσωπο της Παναγίας επιδρά καταλυτικά στις ψυχές ποικίλου ακροατηρίου, το οποίο θα την αντιμετωπίσει ως Μάνα, μεσίτρια και διαρκή συμπαραστάτρια.
Με έμπνευση από τις επτά θαυματουργές εικόνες της Ιεράς Μονής Βατοπαιδίου, καθώς και την Αγία Ζώνη της Παναγίας, επιχειρείται μια παράσταση, η οποία φιλοδοξεί, με ποιητική απλότητα και μέσα από βλέμμα παιδιού, να προσφέρει ένα σεμνό προσκύνημα στην ιερή της εικόνα και ένα γλυκό φιλί στο ολοζώντανο, ζεστό της χέρι. Στη Μάνα, τη χειροπιαστή, που όσο τα βάσανά της πλήθαιναν, τόσο η καρδιά της απλωνόταν και που από μητέρα του Θεού, έγινε μάνα των ανθρώπων.
Έγινε η Παναγία, η Μητέρα του Φωτός. Έγινε και η ίδια Φως. Το δικό της φως, την αντίληψή της, την παρηγορία της, την παραμυθία της έχει ανάγκη ο σύγχρονος άνθρωπος που ζει με άγχος για τα βιοτικά και την καθημερινότητα, με ανασφάλεια και φοβίες για το μέλλον του. Η Παναγία ήταν το αποκούμπι, η καταφυγή, η ελπίδα και η χαρά για τους παππούδες και τις γιαγιάδες μας, ας γίνει το ίδιο και για εμάς σήμερα, που ζούμε σε μία τόσο δύσκολη και παράλογη εποχή. Αυτός είναι ο σκοπός και ο στόχος της παραγωγής και παρουσιάσεως του ορατορίου αυτού, στο να αναζητήσουμε την μεσιτεία της Παναγίας, να προσέλθουμε με ελπίδα, με εμπιστοσύνη και αγάπη κοντά της.

Η μουσική είναι γραμμένη από τον μουσικοσυνθέτη Γιώργο Θεοφάνους, πάνω σε ποιήματα αφιερωμένα στην Παναγία, κυρίως από Πατέρες που έζησαν στο Άγιο Όρος. Περιλαμβάνονται ποιήματα του Αγίου Ιωσήφ του Ησυχαστού, του Γέροντος Ιωσήφ του Βατοπαιδινού, του Γέροντος Μωϋσέως του Αγιορείτου, του Γέροντος Θεοκλήτου του Διονυσιάτου κ.ά., ποιήματα του Βάσου Χριστοφόρου για τις βατοπαιδινές θαυματουργές εικόνες της Παναγίας, καθώς και ποιήματα γνωστών Ελλήνων ποιητών όπως Κ. Καβάφη, Κ. Βάρναλη, Ι. Δροσίνη, Κ. Μόντη κ.ά. Η πρωτότυπη μουσική, πλαισιώνεται από ύμνους και τροπάρια στην Παναγία για την ζωή της, Σύλληψη - Εισόδια - Ευαγγελισμός - Γάμος της Κανά - Κοίμηση -Θαυματουργές εικόνες της Παναγίας - Αγία Ζώνη, καθώς και ύμνους για την Γέννηση και τα Πάθη του Χριστού.
Η μουσική εκτελείται από Συμφωνική ορχήστρα, σπουδαία μουσικά σύνολα, κλασσικών, βυζαντινών και παραδοσιακών οργάνων, καθώς και με την συμμετοχή γνωστών μοναδικών ερμηνευτών κλασσικού, παραδοσιακού και εντέχνου ρεπερτορίου.

«Μετά Δόξης» | Συναυλία Παλλάς | Official Music Video

Saint Maxim The Greek Institute 2025-04-13 | Η συναυλία «Μετά Δόξης» του Ανδρέα Κατσιγιάννη για το πάθος του Χριστού

Το Θέατρο Παλλάς πλημμύρισε από συγκίνηση, κατάνυξη και μουσική, καθώς παρουσιάστηκε τη Δευτέρα 17 Φεβρουαρίου 2025, με μεγάλη επιτυχία σε μια sold out παράσταση το νέο έργο του Ανδρέα Κατσιγιάννη «Μετά Δόξης», σε κείμενα του Αλέξανδρου Φωτεινού. Το έργο, που ολοκληρώνει την τριλογία «Μεγάλες Ώρες», καθήλωσε το κοινό με τη βαθιά συναισθηματική του δύναμη, ακολουθώντας μουσικά την πορεία των τελευταίων ημερών του Χριστού, το πάθος Του, από το Δράμα και τη Θυσία έως την Ανάστασή Του, στο Φως και την Αιωνιότητα, για την Ανάληψή Του και την Πεντηκοστή.

Η παράσταση ανέδειξε την αρμονική σύμπραξη της ανατολικής παράδοσης με τη δυτική μουσική, δημιουργώντας μια μοναδική ατμόσφαιρα. Σημαντικό ρόλο στην επιτυχία της βραδιάς διαδραμάτισαν οι κορυφαίοι ερμηνευτές, οι οποίοι μετάδωσαν στο κοινό μια πνευματική και καλλιτεχνική εμπειρία υψηλής ποιότητας.

Στη σκηνή του Παλλάς ανέβηκαν ο Δημήτρης Μπάσης, ο διεθνούς φήμης βαρύτονος Δημήτρης Πλατανιάς, η Ασπασία Στρατηγού και ο Γιάννης Διονυσίου . Μαζί τους η εξαιρετική Ribale Wehbé από τον Λίβανο, η οποία καθήλωσε το κοινό με την απόδωση ύμνων της Μεγάλης Εβδομάδας.

Στο ρόλο του αφηγητή, ο ηθοποιός Τάσος Νούσιας, ο οποίος έδωσε μια δραματική διάσταση στο έργο, ενισχύοντας τη θεατρικότητα της παράστασης. Τη συναυλία πλαισίωσε η 30μελής Χορωδία “Chorus Vivendi” του Γιάννη Βρυζάκη, ενώ 14 κορυφαίοι Έλληνες μουσικοί, υπό τη διεύθυνση του μαέστρου Στάθη Σούλη και σε ενορχηστρώσεις του Δημήτρη Σιάμπου, έδωσαν ζωή και άπειρη δυναμική στις συνθέσεις του Ανδρέα Κατσιγιάννη.

Το κοινό, που είχε γεμίσει από νωρίς την αίθουσα του Παλλάς, καταχειροκρότησε τους συντελεστές, επιβεβαιώνοντας ότι το «Μετά Δόξης» θα αποτελέσει ένα έργο με διαχρονική αξία, που τιμά την παράδοση και αγγίζει τις ψυχές των ανθρώπων.
