Terrain - fan made minecraft music disc (300 subs)

hilarious and definitely not overstayed tradition of an April Fools’ video that I realized how long it’d been since I’d done anything here. I was like, WHAT!!! The pale gardens were a lifetime ago, in Thaetaa years.
Not that I’ve been completely stagnant. In the past few months I’ve produced more than I ever have, and I’ve been really enjoying working on things again! I’ve improved so much in just the past year. The realest problem— I just don’t write very many singles anymore 😭 most of my stuff’s part of an album, or something, then that album gets bigger and more ambitious, and that’s that. I suppose since I stopped maintaining a schedule for releasing things I stopped thinking about releasing at all! It’s been on my mind a lot recently though. I won’t hold the “pressure” of more uploads over you or me, but it’s definitely something I’d love to come back to!
And what better time to release something than alongside the cinematic masterpiece that is A Minecraft Movie. Wow. I’m in awe, really. ‘Chicken Jockey!’ has completely overwritten all of my vocabulary. It’s all I can say. This movie has ruined me and it’s not even out yet. Of course I will be seeing it opening day, which is today!
With this song, I didn’t want to necessarily just write about something already in the game. What I actually wanted was something to listen to while I build this area of my world, which I’m calling the Marble Gardens. I love marble, and I love gardens, so I’m building.. the Marble Gardens. Incredible. It’s essentially this big ruins site with a bunch of temple and statue builds that I then weather and overtake with nature.
Unfortunately marble isn’t actually in the game. I was using a lot of Quartz for a while, but I’ve begun to really like this Green Terracotta - Cut Sandstone - Mud Bricks combo, and I’ve started spreading this motif all throughout.
At first I had something much longer planned, but after experimenting a little I liked the pacing I ended up with here. After that I figured it’d be fun to write it as though it were a music disc for the area.
This song’s a little bit of a retake of one of my older discs, ‘Close,’ but it’s grown beyond that I feel. There’s still a part from Close I left in this mix just for fun, nearing the middle.
Maybe this song’s biggest inspiration, outside of my own Minecraft world, is actually the in..teresting ‘Calm4’ by Notch himself. I think about it a lot. It’s the most Minecraft thing I’ve ever heard despite not really ever being a part of the game’s soundtrack. There’s something ridiculous about it that I love and I wanted to capture a small part of its essence here.
I also did take the name ‘Marble Gardens’ from Sonic 3. It’s one of my favorite zones. I hate those giant spike ball things though. I can never see them in time. Ridiculous.
Enjoy!!
It was difficult to come up with an answer, but the real answer came in acceptance: Acceptance that I may not ever surpass the musical greats who had their strides before I, but that I choose to create nonetheless.
An artist may reflect on their work years after it is done and see a common phenomenon, that often their works that bring them the most joy are some of their earliest. This could simply be from nostalgia, memories of creation for the first time, but I believe that is not the case here. That is not the case with Silence.
Undoubtedly, inarguably, this is my best composition to date. No matter what I’ve tried to write since, no matter the project, no matter its theme, no matter its technique, nothing has even come close to surpassing what I was able to achieve with Silence.
It exceeds its original purpose, to simply complement Minecraft’s soundtrack. It has become more than I could have ever envisioned it to be. It’s transcended time, I feel, returning every year on this sacred day to bless us all with its sonic beauty.
Its revisionist history is something to note. Is it really possible? Have I truly managed to exceed what I did last year? I cannot say. Sometimes I cannot even grasp what I feel when I compose for this song— if you can even call it that. It is more than a song. It’s more than just a composition.. It is. It just is. It is everything. Silence has become a world of its own. An experience unmatched by any of its predecessors thus far.
I do not know what the future holds. I do not know what paths you or I will go down, what our lives may lead us to. But as an absolute, there will certainly be Silence.
“You do this every year, Thaetaa, will it ever end?”
No.
Enjoy!!
I have to be entirely honest, I think the Pale Gardens have the potential to be a genuine 10 // 10 as far as biomes go. I’ve always liked the Dark Oak forests for being these somewhat uneasy biomes to enter, with the dense clustering of trees providing plenty of shade for mobs to spawn as well as making it decently hard to navigate on the ground. Though, if you clear some trees out, you’ve got plenty of material and space to make a build with phenomenal atmosphere. And the Pale Gardens take this idea up a notch.
I really like this biome. I’m a fan of the brighter wood types, so the moment I saw the Cherry Groves from 1.20 I reserved some chunks in my world to hopefully find one nearby to move to once the update released. But being a year into them, the pink has become a *little* nauseating. I’ve always thought on the idea of moving to a Birch Forest, but it just wasn’t particularly what I wanted. This, however, is.
The Pale Oak is now undoubtedly my favorite wood in the game. Even Cherry wood ranked, like, 4th place when it was added. This one isn’t even close. I’m genuinely so happy that these smaller updates are releasing sooner, because I seriously cannot wait to use the wood for building.
The Pale Moss is cool too, though the hanging moss is really what sells it for me. As far as foliage goes, the only other things I’d really ask for are some flowers and a different tree shape. Of course sticking with a dense tree canopy, but I think something similar to the actual weeping willow tree would be a good fit seeing as they’re inspired by them. I’d personally love a wilting grey rose or something. Anything keeping with the aesthetic of ‘sorta dead sorta alive’ I suppose.
Still, though, I’m just really in love with this biome. It might just be the atmosphere it provides: Eerie and quiet. Both calming and uneasy. And that’s sort of what I tried to go for in this song.
The Pale Gardens actually intentionally don’t play any music, now being the 2nd biome in the game to do this. It’s pretty interesting and does make sense, though I love this biome way too much to not make anything for it.
The first half matches the vibe for the day, and the 2nd half for the night. Any biome gets dangerous at night, but none of them ever really feel ‘eerie’ or ‘wrong’ to me. But the Pale Garden actually succeeds to doing this, mainly thanks to THE CREAKING!!!
I LOVE THE CREAKING!!! CREAKING SWEEP!!! I’m so glad they’ve finally decided to add something like this. Do you have any idea how long this game has been in need of weird forest creatures?
The mechanic is good, with it only able to move when you’re not looking, and not being able to be killed normally. The only thing I’d change about them is really just letting them deal more damage, and maybe some kind of effect. My choices would be Slowness and Blindness personally, making it harder to run away and keep your eyes on them.
The idea of the Creaking Heart and mob itself adds a whole new layer of unease to the biome, because of that whole ‘sorta alive sorta dead’ thing: The whole biome looks and feels super dead during the day, only for the trees to literally come alive at night, alongside all the other undead mobs. I found it really cool learning out that the Creaking Hearts were in the trees themselves, making me wonder what the Creakings really are and how they appear.
I also love the interaction of Illagers running away from Creakings. That’s just a neat little in-universe thing.
Truly, I might just move my base again once I find a good Pale Garden to settle in. Maybe then it’ll be permanent. For once.
Love this biome. Even with its insidious Creaking.
Enjoy!
I can’t say I was expecting three of them, though.
The discs hadn’t yet been added at the time the 1.21 soundtrack released, but we knew based on the ‘Minecraft Monthly’ video that three discs were coming, so it was kinda fun listening to each song and trying to determine which were the discs.
My initial guesses were actually Precipice, Creator, and Puzzlebox. I kinda figured that the Music Box version of Creator would be an album exclusive, but both Creator and that version were added in a later snapshot, alongside Precipice.
Anyway, the moment I got to Creator and past its music box intro, I just about lost my mind.
I don’t think it’s physically possible for anything to upend Far as my favorite record in the game, but Creator comes *so* close. I absolutely adore this song.
The fanfavorite seems to be Precipice right now, and it’s alright, but Creator is like… genuinely top 5 from the entirety of the Minecraft OST.
Precipice is just a bit much in my opinion. I believe it’s the 2nd longest disc in the game behind Blocks. There’s almost just *too* much going on in it, and while I think it’s pretty good on most direct listens, actually playing it around in my base proved to be a bit of a distraction. I much prefer Creator for this. It’s one of the most fun listens in the game imo.
So, I thought it would be fun to do a cover of it. If you’re returning, you might notice that this instrumentation sounds pretty similar to my Woosh disc, intentionally so. I used that file as a base and sort of made it like a cross between this song and that.
My initial thoughts going into this was ‘How can I turn to this song into a bosstheme?’ Natually. I guess the only thing I’m capable of thinking about is making bossthemes.
I didn’t really end up going with that idea, but I sort of still steered toward it in a sense, and took it in a bit of a different direction from the original.
The blurry background gameplay is from a trial chamber run I did on the most recent snapshot, which has all the discs. You can actually see me get Creator in the first ~20 seconds.
This snapshot was Interesting to play on. They added a ton of huge stuff, both in gameplay and in technical, but also somehow let one of the easiest duplication bugs pass. I literally found that one by complete accident. If you try to uncraft an ore block, youll receive the 9 items without the block uncrafting. Replace the block in the grid, and repeat.
Smite (and I imagine the other high damage enchantments) are also seemingly broken right now, with none of the extra damage being applied and critical hits doing what looks like a literal half-heart of damage. Though with the fact they completely changed how enchantments work in the code I guess that one isn’t much of a surprise.
Nonetheless, Creator is still incredible. Easily clears Otherside.
Enjoy!
Silence is a masterpiece that is beyond words, even my own. It is something that is impossible to describe. Something that can only be experienced by witnessing it all on it’s own.
Yet, here I post another remake of it. Some thought it was impossible, even myself— expectations have been exceeded once more.
How do I do it? Frankly, I am not quite sure myself. The process of creating this impeccable track is one of immense mystery, and passion.
There really is nothing to say. Nothing to note.
Simply— Silence.

Hilarity over. What about myself?
It’s safe to say my upload cycle has been tenuous, and that’s not without reason.
One main factor is that I simply decided to step away from actively uploading for now. It’s not necessarily something I *wanted* to do, it’s moreso for the sake of everything I want to work on.
Having the extra ‘okay I want to post this later’ factor does, I feel, detract from the overall enjoyment I get when it comes to writing n producing n all. It’s something that’s fairly obvious in hindsight, but an important lesson to learn nonetheless.
When I started sharing the (honestly Horrific) songs I had been making, the ‘goal’ I kept in mind was just that it existed in the first place. That I simply just wanted to make something I figured would be cool.
I never really let that ideal escape me, but it sort of clashes with the sense of ‘but how will the people viewing this feel?’ you get when posting anywhere.
That’s not to say I’m not appreciative of anyone watching. Really— it’s unbelievably cool how many of you tune in now and then. It means the world.
That’s also not to say I’m going completely inactive or anything. I would love to get back to posting here soon, there’s just a ton I wish to work on when it comes to the creation of art n things.
I wouldn’t say I have an exact sense of time for my “”return,”” but I don’t think it’s absurdly far away. It’s really just whenever I decide that I want to come back, I suppose.
All for now. Also… the trial chambers. Oh my gah. Have you SEEN the Mace??
Enjoy!
In the midst of me being busy with several new projects, some new snapshots released with quite a lot of new content for 1.21. Unfortunately not an end update. There's always next year,,,
Anyway, THE TRIAL CHAMBERS!!!!!!
If i'm being completely honest, these might be my favorite structure right now.
I was a fan of copper since day 1 -- so you can imagine how I feel about a massive structure filled with it. The tuff bricks and overall blockset also look great and finally give tuff and actual use.
Aside from the building blocks, actually playing the structure has been a lot more fun than i thought it would be. I already love dungeons, and fighting hoards of mobs, and this takes it to somewhat of an extreme.
You even get more loot depending on how many people are in the structure. Which would be great if i wasn't trapped in singleplayer.
The breeze is super fun to fight 90% of the time. The 10% is for when it gets stuck in a corner and you can just attack it without it moving. I imagine they'll update it's ai to counteract this seeing as it already has that 'jump' ability, but other than that it's definitely a fun mob.
I had a lot of fun with this track, though the process of finding the right sound for the overall feel of the trial chambers took quite some time. I mainly wanted to give the chambers a rather intense feel. They can spawn silverfish *and* cave spiders after all.
In the end i kind of ended up writing a boss theme for the breeze, but I still mostly kept it to that playable disc format.
A lot of times when i write these songs the lore of the structure or biome plays a huge part. But currently, there's not a lot actually known about the trial chambers, so I kinda took my own route.
I personally don't have a lot of theories just yet -- but i'm certain mojang has something planned for the chambers. Maybe it's to do with the builders of the ancient cities? or the strongholds?
And lastly -- the videos return! Recording videos for these discs are infinitely more fun than just taking a random screenshot somewhere.
The video youre seeing here is an actual runthrough of a trial chamber with all of my gear copied from my main survival world, meaning yes i absolutely do use the trident in combat encounters. It is an S tier weapon.
That's about it for now. It feels weird actually uploading something after so long -- but i think i'll come back to somewhat of a more consistent schedule quite soon here. I have about 8 trillion things i'm practically just waiting to release now, and i'm pretty excited to upload them whenever i do.
Hah woo hah.
Enjoy!!
I honestly really like them, the new tree and wood types look great and the planks pair up really well with birch planks imo, meaning I finally have an actual reason to mine birch wood. theyve done the impossible.
I'll relay something I mentioned in a community post. every time a sufficient amount of content is added in a snapshot I make a brand new survival world to,, survive in. I usually leave my main world dormant until the update fully releases.
I did the same thing with these snapshots as well, the moment i saw the cherry blossom biome appear in one i started the world.
It actually took me a bit to find one, but when I did it was in the middle of a thunderstorm, giving the biome an even cooler atmosphere. it was also on the side of a big hill so it also made it a cool spot for building the home base seen in the video.
Playing on this world has been pretty fun, ive yet to find any of the archaeology stuff but i havent even found a desert yet so i guess ill have to keep exploring.
Little fun fact, the song used to sound a lot different, but of course right as i was about to work on the video a brand new official music disc was added in the newest snapshot and it basically completely reset my approach in tone with the song.
The actual structure of it stayed pretty much the same but the instrumentation, tempo and key of the song changed pretty drastically.
And yes, the new disc Does go very hard.
Enjoy!!
I do hate to be blunt but honestly, this is by far the Best song ive ever written.
it is simply a masterpiece, start to finish. I suppose it is somewhat awkward to flatter myself on my own work but it is hard to Not be in awe at what i was able to achieve with this track. countless hours were poured into every rise, drop, and bridge in this piece. each melody took careful consideration and i learned from the legends of the musical composition world.
everything ive ever created, done, or even thought of has led up to this. i present to you: my magnum opus.

okay, now for the Actual description.
i have been gone for a bit but its been for a good reason. i hope.
ive actually been working on 2 separate music-related projects, one of them being a sort of passion project of mine rather than a ""i want to put this on my youtube page"" type of thing. not that i treat All the things i put on here like that, its just that with this project its less of a Lets Get This Done Now thing.
the first of the projects should be coming up Very soon, as of writing this all the songs besides one are fully finished, and even the one that isnt fully done is about ~75% complete. i just have to finish that track and put together the video for the full thing.
it Is another liminal space related mix, but i will say i took a much different approach to this one than with all of my past liminal space related projects. while some tracks are intentional throwbacks most of them are styles ive either tried like Once or have had 0 experience in at all. and theres a lot less 80s sounding synths. kind of. youll see.
the 2nd project is the one i was talking about before, and its a Full revamp of the flooding facility ost. the original version, while Definitely not the best, is still one of my personal favorite things ive made. its an ost for some sandbox obbies me and my friend made, how could i not.
its actually going pretty good so far. pretty much all of the original songs have been completely redone and theres a lot of new tracks as well. its around 40 minutes total now. i cant really give a release date for this one, as the obbies themselves are kind of always in a constant state of being built, but it probably wont be more than a year from now so theres that.
theres also decent chance you mightve noticed that i hadnt updated my pfp in Forever before now, which definitely was not intentional because there was no way i wanted to have That as my pfp forever. this was because i was also taking time to start actually Improving my art skill.
so far i havent looked up any tutorials ((besides one because i had no idea what the smudge brush was supposed to do)) because i thought it would be more fun to just learn things myself. it still takes me 7 hours to draw a straight line but i think im getting somewhere.
tl;dr: I was busy so no mindcraft :[
that last part doesnt mean im gonna stop doing minecraft related songs though, that new cherry blossom biome is So cool
Enjoy!!
This is actually a bit old but i did some touchups on it recently and decided to post it.
The history of this track if kind of weird, as you can probably imagine when i first started working on this i was meaning to do a True cover of it, trying to be as accurate as possible but adding my own flare. but eventually i decided it would be Cooler to do kind of a sequel to it. Kind Of.
I would still think of this as a cover of the original but i definitely did take some liberties and changed some parts to how i would do it myself. I gave it a Little bit of a more melancholy feel (the original to me is sort of upbeat with a kind of hopeful undertone) as well as putting it in a different lower key. and i also didnt add the bird sounds. because i didnt want to add the bird sounds. because i hate birds. They are evil.
i feel like the title i gave this track while working on it pretty much sums up what i was trying to do with the overall feel of the song, the title being Was It Worth It? (ex. Congratulations, Ivan. Was It Worth It?)
Anyway, i honestly cant believe we are living in a timeline where the five nights at freddy's movie And backrooms movie are being developed at the same time. like if you told me that there were going to be these 2 movies coming out in the Not That distant future last year i would 100% not believe you at all. but here we are.
also i Will be going to these films opening day.
Enjoy!!
some post upload edits: theres a little rendering issue at around 30 seconds in. i was aware of this and i Did try rerendering the song a few times but i couldnt seem to fix it. its not like that in the actual file itself which is weird, but i dunno. also i wasnt really sure how to properly credit kane (either kane parsons or kane pixels) but he seems to credit himself as kane parsons so i just went with that. thats all. Go generate hype for the backrooms movie now
yea, ive mentioned it in a few of my other descriptions but ive been doing a ton of portal 2, its currently my favorite thing to hop on and play.
its mainly because of the community maps, theres some genuinely really good ones you can find on the steam workshop or if you are Absolutely Insane and want to find the worst maps ever you can also play the recently published ones in the quick play thing.
and as you can probably imagine, ive been making maps of my own. they're certainly not the most Advanced puzzles ever, but i personally make them to just be fun. and kind of hard to solve. but fun.
and then i thought one of them (this one) was kinda missing something. like a Theme that would fit the level completely. and then i remembered im literally a composer so i wrote this 👍
i took a bit of a different approach when writing this, instead of the usual minor i went with Harmonic minor, giving it a bit of an 'off' feel, which is what i was going for. i also had repeated melodies playing in different keys to add to that. of course i still have the heavy bass like i do with a lot of my songs, but i think it sorta fits the big and open rooms in this map.
Unfortunately i havent gotten it to play in the map itself, though i do know its possible (i think you have to use the hammer editor or whatever ((which also lets you use models and the textures from the base game from what i read after like one google search)) but i mean youtube can play audio in the background so problem solved.
i just thought it would be cool to make a theme for this map. i also made Another portal themed track which captures the vibe or portal 1 as opposed to 2 (it was based on Self Esteem Fund) for a different map i made, but that one is kinda sorta Really Bad so i probably wont upload it until i make that one actually good.
also ill upload a Clean version of this song ((just the raw song without the gameplay audio from the beginning)) on the 2nd channel if i can get a good screenshot from the video. which i am a master of taking screenshots so that will be easy
Enjoy!!t
I say Again because it barely feels like a month has passed since i uploaded gift, even though it's been a whole year.
2022 has been a pretty interesting year for myself, the amount of Stuff ive done and made is almost kinda unbelievable from my pov. Like, with some things ((like gift)) it barely feels like any time has passed, but at the same time i still barely even still grasp the fact that i uploaded my Otherside album This year, which was basically the start of me finding a solid style and tone for most of the songs i make. it feels like that was ages ago considering everything ive made since.
This whole year's been a learning year for me. i mean, yall saw my old profile pictures. i think its safe to say that i've gotten better in a lot of departments.
So, as the year ends, i thought it'd be nice to close with a fairly chill ((haha)) song, like last year.
It's sortof a remake of gift, sortof not, either way i think it's a nice note to end the year on.
Fun fact, i was originally gonna call the song hailstorm but i accidentally typed it as ""hailstrom"" but i thought that sounded cooler. so i went with that, but to make sure people didn't think i made a typo in the title i ultimately changed it to hailstrum.
I probably wont be uploading for a Little while after this, i won't go completely dead or anything but theres a whole lot of projects i want to do and am currently doing. one of the most important things ive learned is to Not overwork myself, it's literally the worst feeling ever. i take a lot of moderation in what i do and how i do it, so ((though im not saying there absolutely Will be)) if theres ever a period of absence from me it's probably because im either
A) taking a break
B) playing portal
yea ive also been Completely and Unashamedly obsessed with portal 1 & 2 lately, but that is a description for another day.
Enjoy!!
Ive actually had this song for a pretty long time, but im only just recently finishing it.
Thats because this is actually the Original version of overchill. kinda. obviously since im finishing it Now it sounds a lot more ""modern"" compared to how overchill sounds, but the original version of this song was intended to be the overchill disc.
I eventually ended up scrapping it after just not really Feeling it, so i made a new file and started composing what would ultimately become overchill.
I rediscovered this file about a month ago, and only now did i hear any actually potential in it. when i found it it was only 3 scenes, with a little bit of the intro and an Very unfinished version of the first drop. and since winter was coming up i figured it would be Perfect to actually finish.
So yea. i also never actually had a name for this song while making it, just calling it ""winter song 3,"" but eventually i settled on snowdown because of ristar.
I should really play ristar again.
Enjoy!!
it is absolutely Killing me but im telling you, rerendering this Entire video just to move one pixel is Not something im in the mood to do right now. so please just,, Pretend it doesnt exist. okay? okay.
Anyway
I know what i said in the description of Crimsong and how i hate basalt deltas. and while i still do hate Traversing them, the biome itself is honestly quite pretty. i think building an actual base in one could turn out pretty well, though it would probably be a pain to do because of the Insane terrain in that biome.
Anyway, i remembered that i Do actually kind of like this biome and since ive only made like 3 nether discs i figured it would be cool to make a theme for the biome.
Unlike a lot of my songs this one didnt really go through any Huge changes or rewrites, though it initially was going to be a lot more ambient. but being honest, it was just boring. so i brought in the drumkit from downpour and things just went from there.
That really about it, its a pretty simple song.
And while i still think they look nice and while i Did just make a whole song for them,,,,
i still hate traversing through basalt deltas 👎👎
Enjoy!!
i thought of doing a remastered wither theme a little while ago, around the time of my Familiar Feelings album, but i never really got around to finishing it. but i did have a pretty decent start on it, so i finally finished it just a few minutes ago at the time of me scheduling this upload.
I didnt really want to do a Complete overhaul like with the ender dragon theme ((although its kind of hard to compare as that song Needed a complete overhaul from the original)) so i went with a pretty faithful route, and i think it turned out pretty well.
the wither theme was a song i always knew had potential to be really good, but i was just limited by my skill at the time of me writing it. so im glad i can finally expand upon it now and make it Cool.
Happy Halloween, and Enjoy!!
while i do still of course like this song, i feel like it doesnt really fit with the others. so im uploading it as a bonus track with a Super Cool red tinted cover.
Enjoy!
actually, technically that song Isnt the first song, or at least not the first song created. accidental discovery was.
i think after going back and listening to it it becomes Obvious that That was the first song made, its stylistically different enough to where you can tell.
anyway, i just thought this would be neat to include, not with the actual album upload but as a cool side thing to listen to.
Enjoy!
i put this in the intro, but ive been working on this for 4 months, even longer if you count the time before i truly started focusing on this album. so to Finally have it up is just such a great feeling.
this is a direct sequel to my otherside ep, one of my favorite,,, things ive ever made. with that one i got to experiment a Lot and i really feel like it was a turning point for my overall musical skill. while Yea i was and am always learning and getting better, i feel like after that i didnt really have as many misses as i did before that.
one of my favorite parts of both this and the otherside ep was that i was able to tell a story just by using songs and song names, if you read the description on the otherside ep than youd know that there Is lore that both this and otherside go to. i think otherside tells a more clear-cut story with its tracks, and this one you have to sort of connect the dots a bit more.
some fun facts, Vitrified was supposed to be called resonance, but i accidentally put it under vitrified and forgot to include the Actual track called vitrified. so yea. ((ill be uploading the forgotten track under the name ""project termination"" in a bit, fits the story better))
both courtesy call and vitrified are portal 2 references, i beat it for the first time a little while ago and it is now one of my favorite games.
No, i didnt mispell ""atlanta,"" the name comes from 2 things: the actual name originates from a greek myth, atalanta meaning ""equal in weight,"" and the second thing is Of Course a reference to another thing, an oxenfree song.
overall, im just really happy to get this out. its been the main thing ive been working on for so long and these are genuinely some of my favorite songs that ive made.
one last thing, if youre either accurate or just have been paying attention, then you mightve noticed that Terrain.Co comes from another thing, the flooding facility ost. thats because both the otherside and this album are prequels of sorts to the flooding facility story. if youre confused, its basically just a portal 2 situation.
but yea. i also might upload these songs individually soon, it will most likely be on the 2nd channel because it will both give that channel a use and not clog up the main channel.
Enjoy!!

rewind was actually fairly innovative for me back then, i hadnt really done anything like it at the time. and as a bit of a side effect of that it was a pretty mixed bag in terms of overall music quality.
some parts still go hard 10 months later, and other parts are just Objectively bad ((Especially the later sections))
this really just added to my thought of doing a remake of rewind, but the problem was i didnt really know What i would do for it. it was just,,,,, Too different for me to really get a grasp of, even though it was literally something I made.
so i held off on it, and instead made a bunch of New songs using the same instruments along with those drumkits.
and id say i pulled it off.
i not only wanted to remake the original song, but i also wanted to Extend it. so i decided to combine those Other songs i made with rewind into one Big song,,
Sorta.
I guess i should probably explain the lore on Why cassettes would even be in minecraft. i said this in the original rewind's description, but these cassettes would be found in the ancient cities, which is pretty much The Most advanced structure in the game. it uses redstone lamps for lighting, and has an redstone room. not to mention the giant portal in the center of the already massive city.
one of my favorite general theories for minecraft was that the time period the player plays in is after some sort of huge disaster that wiped out previous civilizations ((hence all the undead mobs)) and in reality those previous civilizations were actually pretty advanced. i just always thought that was a cool theory, So i thought it would also be cool to give the most advanced and ancient structure in the game something more advanced than just a music disc, a cassette tape.
if youre wondering how i think you would actually Play the cassette in game, the easy way out would just be that jukeboxes can Also play the cassettes, but i think it would be cooler if they got their own designated cassette players.
i guess this is kinda going into the realm of mods, but to try and keep it fairly vanilla i imagine they would be crafted with 8 smooth stone blocks around a redstone block or redstone comparator. it could also look somewhat similar to the jukebox, but made of smooth stone instead of wood.
now to answer another thing: if youve watched the entire video by now ((thank you by the way)) or have just seen the thumbnail, then youve noticed that theres actually Other cassettes thrown in for different sections, but its still just called rewind.
this goes into another idea i had for the cassette players that i think should honestly just be in vanilla with jukeboxes and discs, and thats having a sort of playlist where you insert however many cassettes / discs into the jukebox / cassette player, and it just plays them.
i always found it kinda annoying that whenever a song ends you have to Manually change it yourself, you can even change it with redstone or anything as far as i know.
so, addressing the multiple cassette thing, each cassette would be either be labeled with unique names or just be labeled rewind part 1 - 4, and youd basically just collect All of them to hear the full song, similar to the disc fragments for disc 5. maybe that doesnt make sense but neither do the disc fragments so its probably fine 👍👍
that was a Very long description, i know, im pretty sure its the longest one ive typed for one of my songs. ive almost reached the character limit. but thats just what happens when you try to put a cassette into minecraft.
Enjoy!!
this song originally started out as a song about some random message between me and someone else, but kinda lost that ""theme"" and was just a song i had that didnt really go with anything.
eventually i thought it would sound cool with some rain in the background and that led to me just basing the song on rain itself, so i changed the song a bit and gave it a more mellow tone.
pretty much just one of those discs that would just Exist in the game ((like chirp or cat or something)) and dont Really have any meaning other than to be a good song you can listen to. but i like it for that so yea. 👍👍
Enjoy!!
the only real threats there are the piglins and hoglins ((which can be neutralized by wearing gold and placing warped mushrooms around)) and youve got access to wood, blackstone, food, and the Coolest biome in the nether.
so i decided to make a theme more fit for after you Really get settled into the forest. you explore deeper, prepared to take on anything within it.
fun fact, this was originally gonna be sort of a dual upload with the first half of the song being for the crimson forest and the 2nd half being for the warped forest, but i scrapped it after a while due to the fact the warped forest Explicitly doesnt play music and because i really just liked the crimson forest part more.
i think part of that original idea still shows, especially in the drop in the later half of the song. i intentionally kept that in as a bit of a reference even though that part has pretty much Completely changed from what it originally was.
overall, crimson forests are still my favorite nether biome and basalt deltas can jump into a lava pool.
Enjoy!!
i dont know what it is about this song but i just,,, Like listening to it. its not a 10 / 10, not really my most Innovative song of all time, but i just enjoy listening to it. maybe its because its pretty simple ((outside of the drumkits this song uses Literally 2 separate instruments)) so it makes decent background music, i kinda just throw it on if im doing something that doesnt take too long. but i dont know, i just like it.
really thats kinda what ive strived to make for all my songs recently. ive still got a bunch of songs to upload that are mostly based on random images or experiences ive had, as well as a bunch of older projects im finally finishing up.
theres Tons of stuff im pretty excited to release soon, and while i havent really done any music discs too recently im probably gonna return back to them Soon™️ because i still do like making them.
but yea. void song 👍👍
Enjoy!!
I can go onto google and download the 244th result for ""earth"" in images and write a song about it. i could draw me on venus building the Temple of Notch. and then write a song about it. Who is going to stop me from doing that? no one.
Thats not even talking about actual thoughts, you can just Imagine absolutely anything and theres literally nothing that can stop you. you could pirate an entire movie after just seeing it once and watch it at anytime if you can remember it well enough.
imagine if someone creates a device that can put whatever youre thinking onto a screen so everyone can watch it, i wouldnt be surprised if thats physically impossible or something, but it would still be cool. you wouldnt even have to create new movies or shows or songs or Anything in the real world, you could just do it in your head and then broadcast it
i know that has nothing to do with this song but theres no way accurate is going to listen to me talk about this so i am typing it here because no one actually reads the description 👍👍
Anyway, i found this image from a community post like with floating point. the aura this image gives off is almost completely indescribable, much more than the steve one.
I dont know What it is about it, but its just. Walm
Walm. Walm is the only way to describe this. im sure it is an actual english word, but just Forget what it meant originally. in every dictionary and definition, This image should appear below walm.
and below that, Pharmacy
Enjoy!!
Yall are not going to believe this, but literally like 4 hours after i uploaded floating point i was just randomly recommended what was practically the Sequel to the image used in that song, exact same concept except it was a video and steve was flying by on a flying machine
I knew this was a sign that i needed to make a sequel to that song, so i opened auxy and began making it
I actually finished it fairly quickly, the only reason it took me so long to upload it is because i Forgot and because of some random tweaks i added here and there, but yea
Probably the only time i made a song out of a pure coincidence
Enjoy!!
Im like 96% sure 1.20 will be an end update, but then again theres still a few other things they could add or make better, like archaeology which everyone just forgot about.
After starting to think about what would be in an end update i immediately thought about the echoing void dlc from minecraft dungeons, which i actually got not too long ago.
The dlc is pretty good but there is One thing that is just Not good, and its the music.
The music is basically just Loud ambience and the most annoying sounds of all time. i Guess it kinda fits the general vibe of the end but it is so grating to listen after like 4 minutes.
I dont even like the final boss music that much, and its Objectively the best song out of that entire soundtrack. if you havent heard it just imagine someone hitting random keys on a piano with some orchestral instruments playing in the background. its like whoever composed it didnt want anyone to recreate it so they just made it the most confusing thing to listen to ever.
Maybe you could make a point of how it represents the end's shattered and strange form, but honestly its really just a mid song if anything.
So, i took one of my favorite base minecraft songs (concrete halls) and did a bit of an End type music disc take on it. so pretty much concrete halls for the end.
the end cities are pretty vertically oriented, and dont really have halls,,,,, so
concrete shafts?
i dont know.
Also if youre curious i bought the nether dlc too, that one is equally as good and actually has decent music. and the gigablaze is Still cool and i will forvever be mad that it lost to the phantom to be in the base game.
the phantom,,,, man,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Enjoy!!
But i rediscovered it while looking for a different file and i remembered ""hey !!!!!!! this song is done"" so here we are.
Ive still got a decent amount of other unreleased songs, which will most likely be coming out over the coming days ((dont really wanna spam yall with uploads in a single day haha
If youre curious about Why this song exists, i honestly couldnt tell you. i found the image from some random community post on youtube and it just,,,,,,,, gives off a Specific aura that i had to make a song about. i dont really know how to describe it but its almost like looking at a liminal space image. but not really. i dont know.
steve nerd poling to a plane will forever be one of the images of All Time
Enjoy!!
This song was actually a request song which is always intriguing, but even more so was that the person requesting it actually gave me a melody to build off of, which was made in minecraft using note blocks.
Not only did that video remind me that note blocks existed, but i decided to take up the request because i actually liked the sound of it.
So after some changes to allow it to fit into a solid tempo i essentially just went from that base melody into whatever i thought sounded good because by this point i hadnt really thought of a solid theme for the disc, but midway through working on the song i settled on mineshafts because i thought it would be a neat tune for them.
And after approval from the requester i finished up the video portion. this was actually meant to be uploaded nearly 2 weeks ago but ive been Super caught up with a bunch of other projects. that might sound bad but this is really just a case of me being forgetful if anything.
And as for those bigger projects, they are Very close to being done ((like i could literally release them Now done)) but theres a few more tweaks id like to add before release. so stay tuned
Enjoy!
So i decided to do a disc like fresh start, in the sense of that disc being a ""theme"" for the update. kinda like pigstep from 1.16.
Ive basically summed up my feelings for this update in song form, kinda sad about how Small the update is but also pretty happy about the quality of the update. i feel like absolutely no one talks about this but the new things 1.19 adds are pretty high quality honestly. and yea, maybe like frogs or something arent the Most fleshed out and maybe they Did remove fireflies but
like
genuinely
who actually cared about fireflies
Ive probably just summoned the FireFly Defense Force with that last sentence ((please dont murder me in the comments
Enjoy!
That album was the Only one i ever set a deadline for and i regret it so much honestly. It just made everything feel so much more stressful and rushed than it shouldve been, since then ive Never set a deadline nor announce things until they are actually done.
Working in my own pace was something Really important ive learned over the past year, and its allowed for some if my best projects to actually be good.
So, ive decided to do a sequel to Liminal. i kept the same idea of just finding a bunch of liminal space images and making songs out of the vibe they give me, and i am pretty happy with how this turned out.
The main thing i wanted this to be was just a Way better version of Liminal, and i think ive at least succeeded in that.
I honestly love making ""liminal space"" type music, ive said this before but ive been a fan of liminal spaces for a pretty long time and to finally make little themes for the images i come across is really fun.
So yea.
Liminal Space Gaming 👍
Enjoy!

I don't really have that much to say other than that i think its a Lot better than the original, pretty much what i wanted it to be from the start except i now actually know how to make it.
I basically gave this one the same treatment as the ender dragon remake except making this one a Little bit less faithful than that one (which i think is a good thing) i pretty much view this as a sort of b-side to the original
Thats pretty much it. Again, Huge thanks for 2k, yall mean a lot to me.
Enjoy!!
I almost can't believe that this is Real.
Like, 2000 people who Actually like my songs. It's just a lot to take in.
I felt the same way back when i hit 1000, which was a Huge number to me. So to see Double that now is just insane.
I'm sorry i didnt have some big 11 minute song like 1000 prepared, but to make up for it i decided to remix my 2 best boss themes -- the ender dragon and the xbox man ones. ((the xbox man boss theme v2 should be up in a couple of minutes
Again, sorry i didnt have a big celebratory song made, but just like in 1000 this Really and Truly means a lot to me, and i'm really happy yall stuck around to watch my songs actually become something listenable.
Enjoy!!
I think remnant was my favorite out of my 3 “”original discs”” (storm, remnant, and lush) and you could probably tell as much did to the fact that that disc is still the only one where i actually bothered to record background footage for it, I might start doing that more often though.
Anyway, if you’re curious on what the Other nether themed disc was gonna be, it actually has a kinda funny story.
On the same day i drew the disc sprite for storm, i designed 2 others, which were remnant and a 3rd disc themed around the ruined portals (i think i might have mentioned that in the description for storm) after i finished the song for storm i decided to do the ruined portal one, but eventually i just decided to make it for the bastions. and the nether song i was working on recently? the ruined portal disc, because i had recently rediscovered it in my files.
So basically the portal disc became remnant Twice.
That disc probably won’t be scrapped or anything, i just thought it was kinda funny that happened twice.
Enjoy!
When i first saw the minecon live for the wild update i was really more focused on the warden and the deep dark and didn’t really care that much for the mangrove swamps, i thought they were kinda cool but that was really it.
But honestly with these new snapshots i think these swamps are my new favorite biome. The generation is pretty cool, it has super dense foliage (which i like atmospherically) and all the new blocks found there are pretty good too, mangrove wood and mud bricks especially.
Anyway, i made a post about the swamps and a few people suggested that a make a song for the biome, and since i really like this biome i decided to do it.
So yea, mangrove swamp gaming.
Enjoy!
Well all of those are Wrong, because this is my greatest song.
This remake of one of Silence has had days and days of work put into it, constant rewriting and changing of instruments, i even rewrote the entire main melody and changed the whole direction the song went it.
Eventually, i finally found a good melody and i finally got into a flow state, and from there i was able to complete all of the other sections and create something that i was really happy with.
I really hope all of you love this song, the amount of work and effort from me that went into it is completely unimaginable.
Enjoy!
I actually made this song a while ago but i recently revamped it and made it sound a Lot better so i decided to post it now.
xbox man theme song 👍
Enjoy!

more liminal space music woo
This was mostly inspired by an idea i had that was kinda like the backrooms but more focused on liminal spaces. The company in this one (see the first song) would create a device that could open a Temporary portal to a pocket dimension of any area they could visualize.
Pretty much like kane pixels’ backrooms lore but with my own spin on it (i am still Obsessed with that series)
Anyway, these are just some songs about that idea. it’s a bit shorter than my 2 albums but hopefully the songs are still pretty good.
Enjoy!
I actually made this remake of it when i was working on 1000 and i planned to post it alongside that, but i never ended up finishing it. so for storm’s birthday i decided to come back and finish it.
It’s actually kinda crazy it’s already been a year since i first posted storm and i’ve just been making music ever since, but it’s neat to see how much i’ve progressed since then.
I hope this fits the Aether more then the original did, i can’t believe the thought to turn the volume of the bass down even slightly didn’t occur to me. Certified Terraainn moment.
Enjoy!
I’m sure most people (including me) recognize this song from roblox, and it’s become pretty iconic that way. And because I just personally like the song I decided to do a little remix of it.
Fun fact, this song only uses 5 different instruments, which is the fewest number of instruments out of any of my songs because they usually use at least like 10 lol
Enjoy!
I’m surprised I had heard nothing about it the whole day, I only knew about it because of one YouTube video in my recommended going over the snapshot. But of course the moment I saw that I immediately opened minecraft to check, and the warden is now Real.
I’ve been hyped for the warden and the deep dark ever since the 1.17 minecon live and to Finally see it in the game is really cool, so to celebrate I’m posting this remix of descent I did around 2 months ago, just for fun.
Enjoy!
For all 3 of the people who listened to liminal, you probably noticed that I took a little while to actually work on those songs so I could release them all together, and that’s what’s happening here.
So yea, I’d like to announce the New album I’m working on (I’ll probably make a community post about it soon) It’s gonna be like liminal, except this time for the levels of the Backrooms, because I like making songs for weird internet niches I guess. (It’ll probably also have some liminal space images thrown in there just for fun, there’s actually a few Liminal songs that I never finished either cause i wanted to meet a deadline or I just couldn’t find a direction to take the song in, so those Might be included)
But anyways, now on to why I probably Won’t be doing as much minecraft stuff.
First, few days ago I did a poll to see what type of songs I should continue doing, and most people said I should do both minecraft songs and original songs, which I was pretty happy about because I’d like to start expanding the types of music that I post on here.
Secondly, there’s really only so many things I can make songs on in the game. Of course when the wild update releases I’ll probably come back to doing minecraft songs for a bit because there’s gonna be quite a few things that I could make songs on, (deep dark cities,,,,,,,,) but for right now not that many things seem that interesting or seem to really need a theme.
Third, I’ve already got a bunch of finished and unfinished songs that I haven’t posted because they aren’t minecraft, and I thought it wouldn’t really fit the channel “”theme”” (but seeing the response from the poll y’all can probably expect to see more of those songs soon) so doing more original stuff would allow me to really flesh out my other styles of songs, rather than just What Would Fit The Funny Block Game.
But yea, enjoy this little ambient song for now. See y’all (hopefully) soon.
Enjoy!
Then I saw a comment talking about how I should do on ocean monument disc and remembered that was something I was actually gonna do around the time close come out, but obviously I didn’t make it.
So I kinda sat on the idea for a bit but I wasn’t really sure how I was gonna do the song.
But recently I decided to actually go explore an ocean monument, and honestly I kinda forgot how cool those things are.
Fun fact, this song was originally gonna be for the soul sand valley biome, but I couldn’t really get the mood down in an interesting way, which is why it kinda sounds more ominous in the beginning.
So I was kind of at a loss, but I still had a week to make anything so I just held off on it. But after listening to some of the new ambient music from 1.18, I decided I should probably just do some chill piano music. (Of course, I wanted to use a bit more than just a piano)
So I kinda just let this go wherever and I think I’m pretty happy with the result.
Enjoy!
Pretty much right as I’m writing this description I’m exploring the new world gen on my main world, and so far all of it just looks so cool honestly. Haven’t found one of the new mountains yet but I have found some of the new caves and all of it is just so nice to look at.
Anyway, I designed the disc after the 4 main biomes in the update, lush caves, drip stone caves, new mountains, and deepslate caves and you can tell based on the colors of the inside part.
Honestly I’ve been super hyped for this update ever since last years minecon live, so I’m glad it’s here and I can finally experience caves and cliffs fully.
Enjoy!
It’s basically an album that consists of 14 songs that are themed around liminal spaces.
I started working on this on November 1st, so this has taken me almost a month to complete.
The whole reason I even thought of this was because of a Nexpo video. His disturbing things from around the internet series is one of my favorite things, volume 13 came out on Halloween, and the first thing he talked about? Liminal spaces.
I first found out about and got into liminal spaces around a year and a half ago maybe, from one of those “”______ images with _______ music”” type videos, of course it was something like “”liminal spaces with disturbing music””
But yea, I hope this whole thing makes up for my absence and y’all at least like one of these songs. All of the songs should be coming out at around the same time and I’ll put all of them in a playlist.
And if you’re only here for Minecraft, I’ll be uploading a new disc on the 30th for the release of caves and cliffs part 2, don’t worry
Enjoy!
It was actually pretty fun to remake this, as 2010 is one of my favorite songs that I’ve made.
I thought that the original name and disc design for it was pretty boring, so I changed those too.
Anyways, I don’t know what else to put in this description so here is an extremely scary short story I have written:
Alex: Steve… where are we?
Steve: what
Alex: we must’ve fallen down a hole while we were searching for ores.. how are we going to escape now??
Steve: bro you can jus t mine up it’s not that hard
Alex: wait… did you hear that?!
Steve: Dude this is minecraft there are hostile mobs how did you not know this
Alex: we’re doomed…
Steve: we literally just got full netherite armor and gear like 4 minutes ago what are you t
Ok ok, I know what you’re thinking, minecraft doesn’t have cassette tapes, and I’ll admit this was originally going to be a disc, but the way it sounded just made me think of them, so yea
You might also be thinking that I don’t necessarily HAVE to upload this as a minecraft themed song, and to that I say
,
Anyways yea, if you saw the community posts then you’ll know I meant to upload this a few days ago but I was having some trouble getting the last part done as I did not know how I was gonna end it.
But I finally got it down, and here it is.
Yesterday was minecraft live, and they announced quite a lot of cool things, and even though I’m kinda sad 1.19 isn’t an end update the wild update looks pretty cool (just sayin though, 1.20 for the end update)
One of the most exciting things they announced were the deep dark cities, making them the 2nd coolest cities in minecraft.
From what we saw about them the warden spawns there and they are unbelievably big, and even more interestingly whoever built these things were probably pretty advanced, because sculk items can be found there and it’s also the only place you can find redstone lamps naturally (if I’m remembering right, anyway) so I think that, MAYBE, just maybe, they would be advanced enough to have moved on from music discs to cassette tapes (obviously I’m just theorizing to justify how a cassette tape would end up in minecraft but it’s fun to think about)
Anyways, I’m pretty happy with how this song turned out and I hope y’all are too.
Enjoy!
But a week ago the same person reminded me about it so I went ahead and finished it
They chose the title not me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
(Also yes I am uploading this at 4 am)
Enjoy!
If you’ve read the description for lush, then you probably know I tried to mark a song for the deep dark already, but it ended up sounding too much like remnant.
This song actually started out as a song themed around the sun, and was called “”luminous”” or something like that.
But as with most things, the minecraft part of me kicked in and the song started reminding me of the deep dark, so I ended up taking it in a different direction.
Anyway, the next song is almost done and will be themed around the warden and when it spots you, so stay tuned for that.
Enjoy!
The fact that I’ve managed to reach a thousand subscribers is crazy to me, and the fact that 1000 people like my songs is even crazier
I’m actually a little sick right now (it was worse earlier but I’m feeling quite a bit better now) so I’m staying home from school and I expected today to be pretty boring honestly, so when I woke up and saw I was at 1000 subscribers I was pretty shocked. Only about a week ago I was at around 970, and I was going at a pretty steady pace of 2 or 3 new people subscribing every day, but in the last few days I got a pretty big spike in people subscribing which is pretty cool.
But yea, I know this description is like 100 where it’s pretty short, but please, and I mean this from the bottom of my heart and with every fiber of my being,
Enjoy!
Someone asked me to make a song for it, i was kind of at a loss on how it would sound, so eventually I kinda just decided to sort of make it for the tundra biome as a whole. Still is mainly for the ice spikes biome tho.
Fun fact about the main world I play on now, it was actually made entirely out of the fact I was mad I had died and lost all of the items I had gotten (the same death as the one I mention in the description of lost) and I decided that I was going to find a savanna biome and live there.
I had to walk like 5 thousand blocks before I found one (which is kinda weird because savannas aren’t too rare, but maybe I just got bad luck by going in one direction) but I did eventually, funny thing is that it’s literally right next to a snowy tundra, which isn’t bad for me or anything because the savanna and tundra are my favorite biomes in the game, but I just thought it was kinda funny.
Enjoy!
