This home sits on a 26' Movable Roots trailer and has just over 250 square feet of living space. This home has a split floor plan with the bedroom located on the main floor under the raised living room loft. The bedroom is designed for a queen bed and we planned for separation with a "slat" wall with a matching pocket door to allow for airflow into the space but still have the ability to isolate the bedroom from the client's pet when needed. The living room is accessed with a custom built storage case and has plenty of room for a nice couch to curl up on and watch your favorite shows. There is an abundant amount of custom cabinetry and storage option throughout the home starting with the beautiful galley style kitchen with custom matching open shelving over the side by side laundry station. These Mobile “Delis” are 22ft long and 8ft 6in wide with a full Victron solar/battery power system. We worked closely with their team members throughout the process to properly engineer all equipment placement as well as how they needed the flow of the space to work from the order window to order pick up. Movable Roots Custom Tiny Home Heese Movable Roots Custom Homes 2023-02-13 | The Heese tiny home sits on a 8'6" x 34' Movable Roots trailer and has just over 350 square feet of living space including the loft. This tiny home was custom designed to be placed on our client Angela's farm in the Florida panhandle. Angela had been living on the farm in an antique RV for some time and knew exactly how she wanted the space to flow for her life on the farm. The main priorities for her in the design process was a functional kitchen and a king bed in the main floor master bedroom. The U- shaped kitchen is one of our new favorites as it really maximizes the space offering ample countertop space for food prep while still leaving enough room that two people can comfortably work in the space. Off the kitchen is the living room with storage stairs to the small loft space for guests. The pass through bathroom has a large 34x48 tile shower and a ton storage options. Movable Roots Custom Tiny Wave Home Movable Roots Custom Homes 2022-09-20 | When we say we are complete custom we mean it. Our client's had a vision of a coastal themed tiny home. Our design team was able to take their vision and create build plans for their home while our build team made it a reality! The Moga's sold their standard foundation home in Minnesota and made the move to Florida knowing they wanted to be near the water. This tiny home has a custom metal inspired “wave” on the exterior tied in with some coastal themed cedar shake siding. A retractable 20ft wide awning will bring some welcomed shade in the hot Florida summers. The exterior of the home also features a custom designed storage area for their two kayaks to be safely stored. A lot of thought went into the interior of the home as well. Bright coastal colors, large windows as well as skylights help keep that laid back coastal feel within the home. One must have item on the customers list was a large refrigerator. We met this request by designing the kitchen around the fridge they wanted. The Moga’s also have cats that are very curious and like to climb so they requested we take the cabinetry to the ceiling for both added storage space and to keep the cats off the top of the cabinets. The access to the loft features a floating stair case and was designed to allow both client's the ability to stand on the walkway to the loft while fitting a sectional couch under the loft access. The loft will serve as an office and the client will build a desk centered on the “foot hole” we designed in the floor so they can sit in a natural seated position at the desk with their feet hidden in the master bedroom cabinetry. The bathroom is larger than most apartment bathrooms with custom tile work in the shower, and the vessel sink that continues the coastal theme. The bathroom also houses the stackable washer and dryer. We also planned for the cats litter box to be placed in the vanity cabinet base that has a “cat door” custom fit and an additional vent fan to remove any smells. The Master bedroom was inspired from our Lee Model Design closet space. The Moga’s bedroom feature a built in storage queen bed frame with custom cabinetry above the bed. Movable Roots Park Model Doodle House Movable Roots Custom Homes 2022-06-20 | This custom built "Doodle House" is a park model home that sits on a 36' long purpose built trailer that is 10' wide and is right under 440 sq ft of living space (counting the loft). This home was designed and built around our client's specific needs and wants as well as their beloved Goldendoodles (Murphy and Jordy). These clients had already made the move to tiny living in an RV but after a few years wanted something that felt more like a home and less like an RV. Since their RV had slide outs they also had become accustomed to that wider space and knew they wanted to go the route of a park model width in their design. They also love to entertain their friends which led to much thought of the "U" shaped kitchen design and living room space that will have a large couch and 65" flat screen TV. The kitchen is bigger than most apartment kitchens and has a full Summit appliance package, and a custom built hood vent over the stove. The bathroom boasts a standard flush toilet a 60" Jacuzzi tub, stacked washer/dryer, and custom built vanity for makeup and hair. We raised the master bedroom floor to give the customer over 90 square feet of "garage storage" that is accessible from either side of the home's exterior. The master also has a king size bed with custom made dresser and matching nightstands. Movable Roots Tiny Home Tour Kupersmit Movable Roots Custom Homes 2022-02-25 | Introducing our custom-built tiny home on wheels named Kupermit! This tiny home sits on a 32' long by 8'6" wide foundation and is right around 335 sq ft of living space (counting the loft). This home was custom designed and built around our client's specific needs. As you walk in the front door you find an L-shaped kitchen with a mixture of white cabinetry and open shelving, a large refrigerator, range, drawer dishwasher by Fischer & Paykel, and a beautiful white farmhouse sink with quartz countertops. There is a small dining table for two with two windows placed perfectly to eat with a view. The living area has a couch that opens up and can easily double as a sleeping space for guests with a fireplace to keep you warm on cold days and nights. Take a left just after up the storage stairs and into the master split level loft. To the right is a custom-made dresser and closet space for hanging clothes. There is just over 6ft of headroom for the customer to be able to stand next to the queen-size bed in the sleeping loft. We added some open shelving over the custom nightstand and a built-in bookshelf at the foot of the bed. On the way to the bathroom, the customer has her laundry station with custom-built cabinets and her Splendide all in one washer dryer combo. The amazing bathroom has modern amenities with a walk-in shower with a glass enclosure, a Nebia by Moen spa rain shower head with wand. The vanity has a lovely teal glass sink by Vigo and black fixtures throughout. The Jock Tiny Home on Wheels Tours Movable Roots Custom Homes 2022-02-02 | Introducing our custom built tiny home on wheels named Jock! This stunning tiny home sits on a 30' long by 8'6" wide foundation and is right around 320 sq ft of living space (counting the loft). This home was custom designed and built around our client's specific needs. Our client was able to tour the Cat House tiny home during construction and used that design as inspiration for his floorplan. He wanted a modern-industrial vibe and we feel that we captured that for him. As you walk into the main living area you are met with two RecPro recliners and a 20" bump out that allows for a built in desk. The kitchen has a mixture of metal, quartz, and wood finishes to really tie in the industrial theme. One big plus in this design is that there is a separation between the kitchen and bathroom. The bathroom has large black hexagon tile on the floor with grey stacked shower tile and black fixtures to tie it all together. This bathroom features a European style wall mounted standard flush toilet, and a washer dryer combo. Between the kitchen and bathroom you will find a lofted master bedroom with standing area at the foot of the bed that has customized cabinetry. This home was designed and built around our client's specific needs of a short term rental space on their 90 acre equestrian village. The front porch features an electric fireplace, with a rustic mantle and large tv. Making the space not only cozy but the perfect spot to sit and relax outside with your family and friends. You enter the home through French doors into a "great" room. The living room also features an electric fireplace, room for a comfy couch, and a ton of natural light. The chefs kitchen features an eat-in breakfast bar with a large island for room to gather, a Dacor appliance package, a combination of open shelving and closed cabinetry. The coffee bar sits between a tall pantry cabinet and a Dacor panel-ready refrigerator. We cannot forget to mention the backsplash that adds the perfect pop of color to this already beautiful kitchen. The long hallway has more open shelving with a storage staircase that has a custom railing which leads to our loft. The loft features a common area perfect for children. The stunning L-shaped kitchen has more countertop space than most apartments! The Dried Thyme painted base cabinets combined with the champagne gold hardware and granite tops is one of our new favorites. The living room features an electric fireplace as well as a built in shelf nook for those photos and keepsakes. Four standard sized steps lead you to the Master Bedroom which is on the rear of the home, set up with a queen storage bed frame and custom nightstands. There is a second loft bedroom for guest which is above the kitchen. Access to the loft is just off the living room and encompasses custom storage stair case and a coffee/wine bar area requested in the design process. The goal for the bathroom was to create a "spa like" feel. We accomplished this by incorporating light blues and grays in the color scheme and installing a jetted soaking tub for those tough days on the farm. There is an incinerating toilet by EcoJohn in this home as well as standard plumbing if/when the customer has access to sewer system. Movable Roots Cavin Tiny Home Tour Movable Roots Custom Homes 2021-05-04 | Our custom built Cavin tiny home sits on a 28' Movable Roots trailer and has just over 300 sq ft of living space counting the loft. This home was designed and built around our client's needs as well as her cat Natasha and 15 year old tortoise Herman. We were able to create a space for both pets in the same area with Natasha's litter box in a built in cabinet that vents to the outside and Herman's home on top of the custom built base cabinets. The master bedroom is located in the loft and is accessible by custom storage stairs. There is an abundant amount of custom cabinetry and storage options throughout the home. Starting with the beautiful L shaped kitchen with 42" uppers and raised bar allows for ample countertop space. The raised floor living room is flanked by built in book shelves and a custom storage couch that can convert to an additional sleeping space. The pass through changing area will house the client's heirloom armoire and gives a nice separation from the kitchen and bathroom areas. The 30 square foot bathroom has a standard flush toilet, walk in shower (36"x36") with subway tile, and a vessel sink with custom shelving. Finally, this home comes with shade for sunny days. Movable Roots Adams Tiny Home Tour Movable Roots Custom Homes 2021-04-01 | Our custom-built Adams tiny home sits on a 28’ Movable Roots trailer and has just over 385 sq ft of living space counting the lofts. This home we planned for and designed around our client and her two twin boys. We were able to create two lofts connected by a cat walk, one for sleeping and one for play! The sleeping loft is accessible by a custom wood ladder and the play loft is accessible by a ladder that can be hidden behind the refrigerator. This home also feature a main floor master with a queen bed and a large closet. There is an abundant amount of cabinetry and custom storage options. The home has both black and grey water tanks as well as fresh water tank for those days the family plans to be off grid. This home has the most amazing color palette. The client's inspiration color was Olive Grove by Magnolia which we painted the cabinets then we chose brass accents and butcher block countertops throughout the kitchen and bathroom.
