Whitethorn - Davy Jones MAP PART 17

First Burn | Warriors MAP Part 4

Kay9 2023-02-17 | Omg after the nightmare with animating dragons and wings for five months this was the ultimate breath of fresh air! I am so damn happy with how this turned out!! The lip syncing was especially fun to do and even the action scenes with the motion and walking scenes were highly enjoyable. I really hope you like this!!

Taking Flight - An Animated Short Film

Long time no see everyone! I think it has been about... 5 months? Almost half a year since I was last here which is.... pretty bad now i think about it. I'm ever so sorry for my absense, I have actually been working on this!

Taking Flight is an animated short I have been working on for my A Level Art project about Fantasy, and this is my final piece. From the start of the college year (September) I have been working to complete this for the 3rd of February which is the deadline. There were many times I didn't think I could complete this and multiple times I was incredibly stressed out over it. But after a few all nighters and heaps of determination, we got through it and look where we are!! This is probably one of the best products I've ever put out on this YouTube channel and I'm so excited to share it with you all!!!

There are a few areas where given the time, I would improve upon, such as the backgrounds and their movements, especially in the middle, however I think the animation makes up for this flaw and I'm just so glad that its finished that I couldn't care less now lol.

The story is about a baby dragon Crowley taking his first steps in the Dragon Realms located above the clouds, and when he sees dragons all around him being able to fly, his biggest desire is to be able to do the same. This film follows Crowley's journey of learning to fly, alongside his yellow companion.
There are also additional characters such as Frio, the white dragon with green eyes who acts as an arrogant bully who thinks he's better than everyone else. Crowley is determined to prove he isn't the only young dragon who can fly.

Peter Crowley is one of the best music composers on this platform and deserves so much recognition for what he does. It is for this reason why I decided to name the protagonist of this film after him :D

This is another map part for Kimmy revolving around the idea that Mudclaw escaped Windclan after the rebellion and came back as Darkmud to warn the clans about the eclipse. Queue evil shit heeeeee

It's not much and I had to adjust the design of her sona a little so i could animate it easier but overall I'm really happy with how it came out! I absolutely love this person and I want y'all to wish her a happy birthday bc she deserves it ):0

This AMV was inspired by the wonderful @Terenry who does amvs like this! I was inspired by the techniques she used in her own Everything Black MV and Kyokan.

I hoping to replace my tablet soon but until then I'll be able to use this one until we make that happen. You ain't getting rid of me that easily!

This is a quick filler animation I did on impulse. A friend of mine did this meme about a year ago and I've wanted to do it ever since. Lip syncing is my absolute favourite so why not do it with warrior's OCS?

These are all four protagonists of mine and Sneakpaws Warrior Cats universe. The first four dominate the first arc whist the next four dominate the second. There are two protagonists to each clan :D

Characters in order: Ambershine of CreekClan, Stormtail of Thornclan, Shyrose of Timberclan, Eagletalon of BreezeClan, Leopardsnow of CreekClan, Beesong of Thornclan, Echowing of Timberclan and Cloverleaf of BreezeClan

Some of these characters you may recognise from other videos I have made in the past, such as Ambershine, Leopardsnow and Eagletalon, though I don't think I have ever animated Echowing or Cloverleaf before so this was interesting to do! However even after my exams, it doesn't look like I'll be able to come back any time soon because my tablet is experiencing a serious case of dark spotting and I need to take it to get repaired today, if that's even possible. It may take a few days or a few weeks. I don't know unfortunately.
I'm worried I won't be able to make animations for a while which is annoying because I was planning to do an animated short film for my final piece in A Level Art, which is now looking highly unlikely..

Everybodys Fool - Hollyleaf and Breezepelt AU MAP - Intro B

This was incredibly fun to work on, and I've been DYING to work on something that used this colour palette, and lucky me I just happened to pick up a part that had no set palette! yay!!

This part is for the amazing Kimsxxiny though I don't think she really needs an introduction, she's one of the most kindest people in this community and there aren't enough people who give her the credit she deserves. (also Stan Mudclaw, but actually don't because Stan culture is one of the most strangest things to exist lmao)

Okay so a Few weeks ago I asked if you wanted to see an animation meme based on a warrior cats OC universe created by myself and my friend and h boy you guys asked for it!

So here we are!! Really happy with this one, though I did get slightly lazy when it came to backgrounds, I hope you like it regardless :')

Leopardsnow is my favourite of all the protagonists of the Warrior Cats Universe me and sneak have created.
Originally of Thornclan, the son of Bumblestar and Foxpelt, Leopardkit was an unusually large sized as a kitten, and so caused more harm than he intended to whenever he got into playfights. As a result, a horrific accident took place one night which ended with his sister Hazekit dead. Convinced that it was a punishment from Starclan for having kits with the former Breezeclan deputy Foxpelt, Bumblestar makes the decision to send her son away to Creekclan, where Wolfstar and his deputy Ambershine take him in willingly, not without dealing some harsh words to the Thornclan leader.

Because of the abandonment, Leopardpaw grew up to hate the clan he came from, and more specifically Bumblestar. He was consumed with guilt after the death of his sister and deals with these emotions by lashing out at his clanmates. This cat has a lot of issues he needs to work out!
One thing leads to another with Leopard ending up training with the dark forest specifically Timberclan apprentice Nettlepaw and they grow a close friendship. The influence of the darkforest has dire consequences however, as after an argument across the border with his biological brother Beepaw, Leopardpaw attacks him and wounds him badly. This ends with him being grounded to the camp for a few days. The scene at the end depicts when Leopardpaw and another apprentice Smokepaw (a kittypet who joined the clan recently) begin to develop a close relationship, eventually forcing Leopardsnow to choose between the Dark forest and his partner

There's much more to this story plus a bunch of other protagonists but that's all that's relevant to this meme. hope that made it more easy to follow lmao

The Killing Kind | Ashfur PMV | Mild Gore Warning

I could literally scream the beast has FINALLY been completed!! I sure hope y'all like this one!

Not really sure where to begin to be honest uh... This project was incredibly difficult to get together, not because of the actual animation or anything, but because the technical errors that happened through out.

Firstly, my painting software I use to make backgrounds, Medibang Paint thought that it'd be a WONDERFUL idea to create a new plan for exporting and saving my drawings, which ended up with all of my previous works (including the background for this project) now completely erased from my device! So that was fun to deal with! Luckily I was able to salvage some of them and the ending product still looked pretty good.
AND THEN Flipaclip decided it was time to get rid of some previous projects to make room for more storage :D so I could no longer access my previous files (anything before got corrupted and so I couldn't go back to edit them or replay them) Luckily they had already been exported into videos so I was still able to piece them together. Still a spectacular pain in the backside though.

YET DESPITE ALL THAT We kept up our determination, went through pain and suffering and IT PAID OFF!

I've never animated fire before this. I'm pretty damn happy with that lmao

Also I'd like to just shine some light on another animator that needs absolutely no introduction because practically everyone in the warriors community know who they are: Nifty Senpai! To speed up the background process I took a lot of inspiration from their backgrounds in the Fourth Apprentice, particularly for the thunderclan camp.

Aight so with all that out of the way I can talk about the content of this. Ashfur is a great warriors villain, because he has different motive to most of the other villains. With cats like Tigerstar, Brokenstar, Hawkfrost and Thistleclaw...? (we don't talk about Spottedleafs heart) all doing their evil deeds out of ambition for power, Ashfur never wanted that. He just wanted Squirrelflight, and when that didn't work out, he wanted her to suffer! I love his alliance with Hawkfrost as well. I can just imagine the meeting being similar to the Hawkeye and Black widow "you shouldn't be here" "neither should you" at the lake lmao.
Also I loved his arc in the power of three series and that fire scene still gives me shivers. Damn power of three had really good antagonists despite how goddamn slow it is

SPOILER TERRITORY FOR THE BROKEN CODE

Then we saw him AGAIN in the broken code. I'll be honest, when I found out that the imposter was Ashfur, I was.... kind of disappointed...? I mean, everyone called it and idk a deep side of me wanted the Erin's to just prove everyone wrong and pull out another villain or something I don't know haha. But the more I found out, the more I loved it. It made Ashfur into an already amazing villain into probably one of the best villains warriors has to offer! I mean it took another cat we shall not name in case of spoilers to literally sacrifice themselves in order to get rid of him! THAT is a problematic cat!

Fun Fact: The song I used, The Killing Kind is actually much much longer than this. It's about 6 minutes in total and to be honest, this project already took 2 months I don't wanna add to it and potentially worsen it I'm happy the way it is. But if I was to carry on and do the whole song, I would TOTALLY add Ashfur possessing Bramblestar and all the chaos that happens in the Broken code.

The only reason I didn't dedicate the song to prominently the broken code is because I actually haven't read any of the books, I'm just going off what the fandom has been saying. For me to make an AMV on it would be inconsistent.

If you're reading down this far, I just want to say that I can't thank you enough for being her to support my channel. To get to 2 thousand subscribers is absolutely insane and it still feels like such an amazing dream to me. Achilles come down | Brokenstar and Runningnose MAP part 6

Kay9 2021-12-04 | wow doing this map part made me internally beg for a runningnose novella, I wanna see what his actual relationship with Brokenstar really was like

So this map is actually really popular lmao and for good reason. It gives two of my favourite characters development and the AU is so well thought out, PLEASE go and check the map call out I cannot wait for it to be finished. This scene in particular is where Brokentail earns his warrior name and is congratulated by Runningnose, his best friend, with Yellowfang wishing that he'd approach her so she can congratulate him as well. It is clear that she is a very proud mom but she can't help but feel sad that her son won't accept any praise from her (even though he doesn't know shes his mom whoops)

Long time no hear from everybody, I apologise from the bottom of my heart for not uploading recently. I have recently started College and it's safe to say things have been rather busy for me. But there was absolutely no way I wasn't going to do something for my 5 year anniversary!!

Yes you read that correctly, it has been 5 years since I started to post on this channel. For all of you veterans who have been here since the start your know I went through a very dark era of being an animal jam youtuber... and it makes me cringe... Then I got into warrior cats and the animation community and gradually climbed out of that hell hole. My first video was posted on 19th September 2016. I was 11 then and next month I'll be 17... safe to say I've grown alot.

Thank you all for being so unbelievably patient whilst I got this beast out, I know it's been a ridiculously long time. I have recently left school about a month ago and because of bridging work for college I was unable to push any videos or projects out. However for my incredibly close friends, I can sacrifice my time to a birthday gift to them (3 birthday gifts in a row lol)

This is to my wonderful friend Silvar, a truly magnificent person and a very dear friend to me. we've been through thick and thin and they mean a great deal to me. I can't imagine my life without their presence.

Todays upload is a little bit different to the usual video as you can tell! This is something I've wanted to do for a while now, despite literally almost every flipaclip user under the sun has made something like this. Look how original we're getting folks

Usually i animate in flipaclip videos consist of a head bob or a tweening guide but I wanted to do something different and went with a simple dog run cycle. This is because alot of people including myself struggle doing them correctly, and I would probably want to reference this later-

I hope this helped somehow. I know that there wasnt any tips however i feel like people dont need to know the full method to be good at something. This is just a simple example of how i use flipaclip to animate ^^

Warriors OCS: Roaring Thistles | The Greatest Show AMV

Holy fuck guys! we're literally 50 people away from 1,000 subscribers! I am literally over the moon I can't begin to thank you guys enough for being there and supporting my channel. Animation is such a good way for me to wind down and express myself and it's so rewarding seeing your reactions. Thank you all sincerely for being with me this year, despite the... minor set backs. Though I think I can speak for everyone when I say, FUCK 2020

Anyways, Year differences aside, This is my latest project. This is a rather short AMV (it was supposed to be longer but I had to cut it short for personal reasons) about mine and Sneakpaws warrior cats universe. This is the first arc, Roaring Thistles. The second arc was supposed to be called Darkness within yet the latest book release of canon warriors kind of made us reconsider xD

Without giving away too much detail, our story focuses on four main cats of four clans, Ambershine of CreekClan (ginger she cat with brown spots) Eagletalon of BreezeClan (pale brown tabby tom with purple eyes), Stormtail of ThornClan (Black tom with white patches) and Shyrose (pale grey tabby she cat with blue eyes).

Bluestars Prophecy Voice acting Map | Part 16

Kay9 2020-11-17 | hello everyone! this is quite a small part for a map I recently made another map part for, however considering this was still open, I decided I'd take the opportunity! The map was originally hosted by Kelsifer but I do believe it has been rehosted by Violetpetal! And considering they needed help with participants, and that I am on 2 weeks isolation, I took this part willingly.

I grabbed this part over 24 hours go, and although I'm a firm believer in quality over quantity, I don't like keeping people waiting, so I worked on this until it was fully finished, hence why this didn't take much time at all

the characters involved are Featherwhisker, Spottedpaw, Thrushpelt, Bluefur and her kits Mistykit Stonekit and Mosskit!

Kay9 2020-11-14 | Hey everyone! After much consideration I have decided to change my YouTube name and rebrand to Kay9. Things have gotten rather crazy for me and some of my buddies but as far as I'm concerned things are at ease now and I've been thinking about changing my name for quite some time.

I have been known as Leonie for years now, and even though I'm fond of the name, I feel like I need a fresh start. Kay9 has been in the back of my head for quite a while now and it's a sort of short for the word "canine" and seeing as my actual name is Kay, I thought this would definitely work!

Don't worry, this doesn't mean that my channel is changing completely. it'll still be me with my map parts and animations and pmvs like usual, just a different name!

Q: Can I still call you Leo/Leonie?
A: Yes you can, I honestly do not mind if you call me Leo still seeing as it's no big deal. I also don't mind being called Kay either, whatever works better for you lmao

CreekClan - Speedpaint

This is a concept art for CreekClans camp, a warriors oc clan I came up with a friend of mine ^^ Although this was originally going to just be any old image for my Instagram account, I decided it would be cool as a speedpaint so here we are!

On top of the White Rock we have Wolfstar, the leader of CreekClan. He has been leader for a few moons by this point, and has gained much respect by his clanmates. He has been my main man since march of 2017 now! So he's pretty old to say the least :')

Below Wolfstar we have his deputy, Pinewing, one of his childhood friends. Fiercely companionate and loyal, Pinewing serves her clan well, and is often thought of as one of CreekClans best hunters. Pinewing belongs to my friend Sneakpaws!

Finally, Poppyseed is sat in the sun below the White rock, just chillin out. Poppyseed is CreekClans medicine cat, another one of Wolfstar's childhood friends and has had a deep crush on Wolfstar for most of her life, but her sister Mistypool got to him first. Poppyseed doesn't belong to neither me or Sneakpaws. She belongs to an old friend whom I know as Robbin! I'm not sure if she still watches this channel but I hope she likes this reguardless!

Just so you know Robbin, the events before Wolfstar's becoming leader haven't changed except for some minor details, Lilacstar was still leader and so was Dawnstar and Frogwhisker is as evil as ever :')

Sweet Dreams • Warrior Cats OC Meme

Kay9 2020-09-12 | hi hi konnichiwa dickheads! so. Considering I've spent a lot of my time drawing up canon warrior cat characters, I think it's time I make amvs dedicated to my own ocs. Me and my friend sneakpaws (who doesn't know I was making this heheheheh) have created our own Warriors story with our own four clans, TimberClan CreekClan, ThornClan and BreezeClan. the character involved in this particular animation meme is called Wiltedflower, medicine cat of TimberClan, because the erins haven't made a medicine cat villain yet.

I gave myself about a week to create this, for a challenge, so it may look rather rushed, I'm sorry :') I hope it's cool anyway

backstory ( I may as well say what it is seeing as I probably won't be able to make a comic or anything like that)

Wiltedpaw and Moonpaw were born in TimberClan, Wiltedpaw showed early signs at being a terrible hunter and fighter and Moonpaw was a natural, so Wiltedpaw was given to the medicine cat at the time, Yarrowleaf to train. Yarrowleaf was a strict mentor, harsh in her training and wanted everything to be right straight away. She was also a huge Starclan preacher, something that would affect Wiltedflower very much.
Wiltedpaw hated Yarrowleaf, and was constantly fantasizing over having his own freedom and not having to listen to her preach about Starclan anymore. One day, two clan warriors, Skywater and Adderfall had a kit, Shykit, a grey speckled she cat with very dark markings. Wiltedpaw was interested by the kit, and although he was strictly prohibited from being able to go near them, as to Yarrowleafs control, he insisted on taking care of Skywater and Adderfall.
Wiltedpaw offers them what he thinks is a juniper berry, however he ends up killing Skywater and Adderfall, after accidentally giving them death berries instead of the juniper berries. Shykit is orphaned.

Wiltedpaw feels awful guilt at first, but he suddenly felt a sense of power. Realising what he could do, he forces death berries into his mentors throat and kills Yarrowleaf as well, passing his death off as an untreatable illness. Just after Shypaw is apprenticed to Snowyclaw, He explains to the clan that he is going to be their new medicine cat, and that hes going to visit Starclan to acquire his name. He insists on going alone. Wiltedpaw spends the day on his own, but not visiting Starclan, he collects as much deathberries as he can, and renames himself as Wiltedflower. Why should Starclan have to give HIM a name when they didn't even exist?

Wiltedflower returns as their medicine cat, and that is where the main story begins.

time goes by and Shypaw is now Shyrose, a warrior of TimberClan. Over the past few moons, many cats have mysteriously died in Wiltedflowers care, and he doesn't intend on stopping. After a while, he's jealous of Snowyclaw, who has a very close relationship to Shyrose, and Wiltedflower wants Shyrose to himself, so he kills Snowyclaw with death berries, allowing Moonpelt to become deputy. Even more time goes by, and on Hollowhearts orders, Wiltedflower attempts to kill Barkstar, but he's intercepted by Shyrose. he I swiftly and publically exiled from TimberClan.

There is much more to the story but I've only explained the events that are necessary to this animation. The characters, Moonpelt, Shyrose and Barkstar all belong to Sneakpaws. Yarrowleaf and Wiltedflower belong to yours truly!

I must admit this isn't my favourite meme in the world, (fantasize takes that medal) but this came out pretty good? Dream team am I right? If you don't watch Dream team, basically, this guy called Dream makes Minecraft challenge videos with Georgenotfound, Sapnap and sometimes Badboyhalo, and their most popular series at the moment is "Minecraft Manhunt" where a speedrunner has to try and beat Minecraft while his friends try to hunt them down and stop him.

These guys have been taking over the animation community and for good reason. Dream George bad and Sapnap are really good content creators and I urge you to check them out for yourself. They're really entertaining!

John the Revelator | A Sol PMV [THANKS FOR 700+]

Kay9 2020-07-22 | Hi hi hi. Okay so I'm really glad that this AMV is finished! I really love how this turned out. There are a few mistakes here and there, some parts I had to redo by I think that it came out really well.

For those of you unfamiliar with Warriors, this character is called Sol, and he's a big antagonist in the Power of Three series (and a tiny bit of Omen of the stars) Sol has always been my favourite villain, alongside Brokenstar, and as soon as I heard this song by Depeche mode, I knew I had to make a Sol PMV with it. This song has been used before in a Broken code PMV so I didn't want to do the same thing obviously. Also I barely know anything about the new series xD

Plot summary:

Leafstars clan comes to rescue her and Sol helps them carry the kits back to Skyclan, this proceeds to lead to the decision of Sol staying there and becoming part of the clan.
Honeypaw and Birdpaw protest to Leafstar, saying that Sol isn't a full warrior of Skyclan and doesn't need to carry out apprentice duties. However Leafstar and Sol laugh this off.

One day while attempting to hunt, Sol stumbles across a fox nest, and as soon as they turn away, Sol grabs their fresh kill and runs off with it, in order to please his new clan. Leafstar is overjoyed, thinking that Sol caught this himself.
Eventually, Sol leads Leafstar to the Fox nest and explains his plan. He is surprised when Leafstar doesn't agree with him, saying that it could lead the foxes to their camp. Rightfully so, during the night, foxes attack the camp, and Sol is frozen in fear. Because of this Leafstar doubts Sols potential at becoming a warrior.

In order to try and get Leafstars trust back, Sol kidnaps her kits and hides them, intending to "find them" later on. However, Sol is caught in his lie and Leafstar banishes him from Skyclan.

Sol runs off and comes across the lake territories, where he is spotted by a Thunderclan apprentice called Hollypaw, who mistakes him as a lion. She would see him again when Sol is taken to the Thunderclan camp by Thornclaw, Poppyfrost and Birchfall. Sol requests to the Thunderclan leader, Firestar to join the clan, however he rejects sol's wish, leaving him disappointed. Instead, Sol talks to the medicine cat and her apprentice, Leafpool and Jaypaw, and he explains that the sun will disappear and not even Starclan (ancestors) can prevent it. Jaypaw tells this to his fellow siblings, Hollypaw and Lionpaw, and they attempt to talk to Sol, thinking that he could know about the prophecy they're involved in. However Sol turns them down and leaves.

Sol then meets the Shadowclan leader, Blackstar, and his warriors. Whereas his warriors are suspicious of this strange cat, Blackstar is intrigued by him.

That night, a battle breaks out between all four clans, Windclan and Riverclan Vs Thunderclan and Shadowclan. However, the eclipse happens, just like sol had said. Blackstar is convinced that sol is right about Starclan.

At the next gathering, Blackstar announces that he doesn't believe in Starclan anymore, and that his clan will no longer attend gatherings. And he leaves with Sol, leaving the rest of the clans in shock.

However, Blackstar then sees one of his Starclan ancestors, thanks to Lionblaze, Hollyleaf, Jayfeather and other shadowclan apprentices, and he realises that he had been wrong to abandon Starclan. He banishes Sol from Shadowclan and Sol leaves.

Many moons later, after Hollyleafs disappearance, Sol reappears in Thunderclan with Lionblaze, who clearly doesn't want him there. Sol claims that he was the one who saved two apprentices from a fox and some welcome him nicely, while some don't. They offer sol a place to stay in Thunderclan while he passed through.

Dovewing and Ivypool spot Sol talking to Owlwhisker and Harespring (allegedly) two Windclan warriors. They plan to attack Thunderclan in the tunnels.

Hollyleaf comes back to Thunderclan, explaining Sol's lies, and his plan to attack Thunderclan. Just like sol's plan, Thunderclan and Windclan meet in battle and Hollyleaf goes after Sol and pins him down, ready to kill him, however at the last minute, she remembers Ashfur and doesn't want to break the code like that again, and so she lets sol go, who runs away, vowing revenge. On his way out, he sees the dark forest cats getting ready to battle the clans, and instead of warning the clan cats,

Kay9 2020-06-27 | Konnichiwa dickheads! Thanks for tuning in! It's been a while since I've created a map part, mainly because I just don't find any that charm me, and I don't have discord so, there's also that :')

Anyways, I found this map and I really like it, so this was born! Characters include Leo, Fawn, Silvar, Sneak and Snowi!

This is also just to keep y'all updated because I'm currently working on a Sol AMV which is half way through process so look forward to that!
