DIVINE Anuki 2021-03-30 | A while ago, I saw Jipscy do an edit called "LOVE." In it, he used no pan/crop or screen pumps, and it turned out super clean. During this time, I was already editing this "LOVE" Teamtage for North, but I really liked what Jipscy did, so I wanted to try it out myself, but with my own little twist.The sync, as you may have noticed, is very.... interesting. In my previous edit, "xmas with u," there was a portion at 3:17 where I created this smooth, linear-style sync that still carried the flow of the song. I took this idea, and based the entire sync of the edit off of this idea. So to you guys, you just see a silky smooth, simple flow. But, the actual sync is INSANELY complicated. It's the "I can't do this" and "I'm not as good as him/her" that shackles one from improvement. Time is a factor in growth, but so is a good work mindset. There will forever be a standard that's set in order to be considered "valid" for your work. But, in the grand scheme of things, how much does that really matter? If you're having fun, meeting new people, and learning new techniques, won't you just grow in time? So since I love doing podcast-style things, I went ahead and pitched to do a podcast for it!This podcast/project is a discussion and elaboration over ideas I learned in the class: such as the idea of "aura" (or a certain feeling or experience) and copyright issues. Basically, what I did was I brought my good friend Zach and told him nothing about what we were doing. All I told him was to help me with a podcast for a final (and also to bring his camera). The cool thing about me and Zach is that although we haven't seen each other too much recently, are roots are deep. The Language of Music - Daniel Rehman Anuki 2019-05-20 | A 60/90-second documentary project for my DTC 201 class.It's a little different from my usual content, but I thought some of you might enjoy it.Throughout my adventures in college, I met Daniel Rehman. He and I, along with a couple others I've met, cycle through using a Yamaha baby grand piano in a small secluded lecture hall. For my DTC 201 class, my partner and I were to create a 60-90 second "documentary" style video for a project and I thought it would be cool if Daniel would be down to be interviewed about playing music. At first we had questions written down, but then as the interview progressed, it became more of a conversation and different questions were made on the spot to match the flow of the interview. Greatest/Ichiban Anuki 2019-05-11 | An edit I did for Gilli and Kitty last month.I wanted to adjust my style a little so that it's more simpler while still being enjoyable and "my style" and flow. Super fun to edit to, and I had a cool idea to mix Nicky's and Drake's verses together to differentiate both Cloud's and Clay's clips. It was a good idea but since there was a huge imbalance of clips that we didn't see coming, it was a little wonky.
