Beautifully eerie late night atmosphere in Sibiu, Romania Meminshab 2024-06-16 | While on a road trip to Romania I ended up in the beautiful medieval town of Sibiu in Transylvania. It's bustling with crowds during the day, but at night, as you can see in the footage here, the town goes completely silent and void of people. This creates a unique atmosphere in the air - a cocktail of cool tranquility with a touch of creepyness. I couldn't get enough of the feeling on one of my nights there, so I took my camera to get it on tape.Filmed in early November 2023.

Three separate meetups, odd talks and lots of beer - Conversations with Meminshab & The Ambassador Meminshab 2024-02-22 | This one is special, as it is a collection of recordings of three seperate times me and The Ambassador met. Once in the last days of May 2022, then in June 2022 and also in March 2023. I'm bundling all this footage up in this home movie because these meetups were a bit more on the weird side, filled with short talks, watching shit on the TV and joking about it or just briefly discussing it and so on. Just a bit more light-hearted, or maybe that's just the way it felt. On our first meetup in May 2022, we just watched a football game and drank, so there isn't much footage of that. After the game ended, we listened and watched some stuff, talking about it in the process. By the way, I set my ringtone heard at 0:10 to that jingle as a joke... On the second meetup in the following month, I decided to cook some chicken. The Ambassador had stories to tell, beer was destined to be drank, all while a Hunter S. Thompson documentary was playing in the background. The months after were a bit more action packed, so we couldn't meet so often or record much. I got into a new relationship, The Ambassador found a girl too. He was also traveling a lot for work and had to deal with uni stuff. You get it. The next time we met and I recorded was in March 2023. We had a discussion about a personal conversation we had had a week prior. I also spoke about some of my things, like more trouble at my regular job, due to me being cast in a couple of commercials that had to be filmed in a short time period between one another. The situation at my day job was a mess more or less. Discussing creative ideas at the bar - Conversations with Meminshab & The Ambassador Meminshab 2023-04-24 | The weather was particuarly nice on that day and I felt in a really good mood. I felt it neccessary to call The Ambassador and go to that bar in my neighbourhood. The same bar that's been featured in two other videos of mine. So we briefly met at my place and then fucked off to the bar. Previously we had been discussing an interesting idea, which was to each play the character of a certain public figure and create a debate or quarrel of some sort between the characters, based on their odd behaviours, maneurisms and different backgrounds. This was the main topic of our discussion at the bar, choosing which character to play the next time we meet. We also discussed a recent film opportunnity I had been offered, I wanted to share that with the Ambassador.We spoke about other things as well, joked around a bit and had some nice time. The weather was one of things that made it particularly enjoyable for me. Our meetup was brief though, as The Ambassador had to go see a movie with some girl. A few beers and a whiskey later, he had to go and I walked with him to the subway station. An entire weekend of sharing stories and talking - Conversations with Meminshab & The Ambassador Meminshab 2023-04-22 | In March 2022, I was feeling down due to some recent setbacks, so I invited The Ambassador home on a Friday night to just talk about stuff and hang out. The discussion we had was really nice, so I started recording. We spent a big chunk of the evening talking about various things, like The Universe, quantum mechanics and sharing stories while listening to Cigarettes After Sex and having some drinks. We decided to spend the next day at home too and work on some digital tasks we had to take care of while also hanging out together, sharing more stories with each other and having a good time. On that next day, Saturday, we decided to watch some episodes of a wildlife documentary The Ambassador found on his Netflix. We had plenty of thoughts that sprung up while watching that, on top of our regular banter. At some point we ordered food and showed each other a weird little hobby we coincidentally shared. I was doing it when I was a kid, while The Ambassador is doing it now. We also watched some videos of a guy who explores the nature in Bulgaria and discussed that, as we had been to some of those places. The Ambassador had to leave on that day, but surprisingly came back on Sunday, too. Train ride to Plovdiv to visit our friend - Conversations with Meminshab & The Ambassador Meminshab 2023-04-16 | In January 2022, me and The Ambassador decided to catch a train from Sofia, travel to Plovdiv and visit our friend who had been staying there for a few weeks, but was on his own. He had recently broken his wrist in a snowboarding accident and we wanted to be there for him for a day, help him out with anything if neccessary. We spoke about life and love on the train ride, listened to some music and time flew by rather quickly. Once we arrived, we were greeted by our friend and went on a stroll around town, got to eat and enjoy our time together. The conversation we had at lunch was so pure and intellectually stimulating, that it stuck with me as a feeling to this day. The three of us hung out throughout the whole day and we even went to a board game bar at late evening, joined by a girl from town The Ambassador knew. An unknown amount of gin later, we went on a walk to grab some food, split paths with the girl and walked back to our friend's place. This is when me and The Ambassador stopped recording. We got to sleep for at least an hour and had to leave for the train station early in the morning. Our friend joined us, as he had some business to take care of in Sofia. I could write on and on about the conversation we had on the way back, but all I'm gonna say is that it was beautiful. Late night talk at the bar (2021) - Conversations with Meminshab & The Ambassador Meminshab 2023-04-05 | Recorded in late June 2021 in Sofia, Bulgaria. A week prior, I had seperated with my fiancee and was experiencing a flurry of emotions. I needed a friend to talk to, as I was dealing with stuff that confused me too much. My own being felt rotten and I was questioning myself. I decided to invite The Ambassador for a drink at a bar in my neighbourhood (the same bar from this video: youtube.com/watch?v=6BsNtGD-ARA&t=61s&ab_channel=Meminshab) The footage starts with the part when we met in front of my apartment block, as well as our walk towards the bar. Once at the bar, we drank a few beers, while watching the football match between Portugal and Belgium for the European Championship and shared some thoughts on the current events in our lives that both tormented and fascinated our minds. We moved on to whisky at some point, joked a bit and even filmed Belgium scoring a goal on TV in real time, before we started really opening up and discussing some problematic traits each of us has. I had to stop recording at some point, as the battery was dying. We hung out for like an hour more, before leaving and drunkenly walking closer to a main street, so the Ambassador could hail a taxi. Great weekend with my family and Sammy (Home Movie) Meminshab 2023-02-09 | A home movie I filmed almost two years ago when I visited my parents at their place for a weekend. Sammy and his girlfriend came over as well and it turned out really beautiful. It was hot during the day, we were drinking beer after beer and blasting music on a speaker till late evening. In the afternoon, we started cooking some lasagna from scratch, ground up the meat ourselves, made the sauce and layered it. My dad decided to grill some steaks, too. We were all done by dinner time, me and Sammy even made a cold sauce for the lasagna for some extra flavour. It was honestly the best lasagna I've ever eaten. We did get drunk after that of course, played board games till late night and maybe even some darts. The next day was beyond lazy, so I didn't even film anything. Beekeeping with my dad - Checking the hives for new larvae (Home Movie) (Old Footage) Meminshab 2023-02-07 | This is a home movie that I filmed in 2014 in a remote village in Bulgaria, where my parents had a place. In the footage here, my dad is doing some springtime beekeeping activities, checking if there are any new larvae in the hives. Our friend Sammy spawns out of nowhere while I'm filming and sticks next to me for the rest of the film. I still find it hilarious how he's breaking the silence constantly with his shit questions. I also did a really good closeup of a bee's stinger at 6:02. At the end of the footage, there is a clip of Sammy doing some half-assed frog control using a blowgun he built for me. I still have that blowgun, used it a lot years ago after school.This footage may be even useful or educational to novice beekeepers, despite how short and non in-depth it is. I'd be glad if it served some sort of purpose to anyone out there.
Wacky Balkan/Slavic home movie moments with Sammy (2010 - 2021) Meminshab 2023-02-05 | This compilation consists of numerous wacky home movie clips of family gatherings/parties I've filmed from 2010 till 2021. Most of the footage was shot on special occasions, like New Year's, Christmas, or the many village fairs my family has attended together with Sammy and others. I'd like to add that I was still a pre-teen when I filmed the footage from 2010-2012, you may identify that by listening to my voice or laugh, which sound really girly. At 6:16 I've added some footage that has sentimental value to me and together with Enigma's song those memories are being brought back to life vividly.Who is Sammy? He is a really good friend of my dad's, perhaps his best even. They've known each other since little kids and grew up in the same environment, kept in touch always. Sammy is a very good friend of mine too, he's been around me since I was baby and has always been supportive of the many odd life choices I've made. He used to work as a DJ in various nightclubs and has inspired me a lot when it comes to music. He's a really emotional person, when we gather he's the one to sing, laugh and yell the loudest and he's not afraid to shed a tear if feeling down. He has a tendency of aggressively arguing with everybody, but cares deeply about the people he's close to. Always talks and jokes around with strangers anywhere we go, which is refreshing to see.All footage featured was filmed in Bulgaria.

We were stuck inside, so we played some music on a speaker while cooking and hanging out. I stepped out for a smoke at one point and this legendary song started playing. I loved the way it sounded with the rain and thunder outside, it painted a beautiful picture in my mind, as I was feeling kind of gloomy anyway. My imagination instantly told me the Sun looked like a heated up metal orb sinking into the sea of clouds below it. Which it later got spat out of, naturally appearing in a darker shade of orange. 1937 Mercedes-Benz 170V brought back to life by this old man (set to restore a 1952 170DS model too) Meminshab 2022-08-25 | The old guy you see here is a driving instructor and mechanic, who personally taught my friend to drive when me and my friends were all getting our driving licences. They are friends to this day, and good ones.With that being said, when me and my friend met in June so he could show me his Volga, we found out that the old man is working on something big and payed him a visit. He had bought an old Mercedes-Benz 170V from 1937, decided to bring it back to life and completely restore it.At the time I filmed this video, the project needed some more work on it, but was drivable and looked really good still. We were beyond surprised to also learn that he had found and bought 2 more of these old Mercs, which are both the 1952 170DS model, according to him. Cuban cigar hand rolled by a Torcedora (cigar roller) Meminshab 2022-07-21 | I don't smoke cigars often, as they aren't the cheapest. But if they're custom hand rolled by a Cuban torcedora right in front of me, it's more than worth it. Especially if she resembles Auntie Poulet from GTA Vice City.The first time I met a torcedor was in 2016 and I still keep the cigar he rolled for me. It's in my fridge in a magnesium tablet tube that I converted into a tubos. I had serious doubts this contraption would keep the cigar in the proper humidity levels. Fidel Castro gifted this cigar to a general in the 70s - Romeo y Julieta Excepcionales Cigar Review Meminshab 2022-07-16 | A relaxing review of the Romeo y Julieta Excepcionales. What's unique about this exact cigar here is that it's around 50 years old. Back in the 70's, Fidel Castro personally gifted a whole box of these cigars to a Bulgarian military general (Trunsky).Some time ago, my friend Vasko (Vasil Ivanov) told me that an old lady came forward and presented him with that box, which contained most of these cigars. The general had passed away, she knew him and retrieved the box. She asked Vasko to restore the cigars in an Humidor, as they were really old, dry and weren't looked properly after throughout the years. One of those cigars came into his possession and it's the one he reviews in this video.Vasil Ivanov is really good friend of mine, I've known him since we were 13. We've had many experiences together, and still do. He is an Habanosommelier and has smoked more than two thousand cigars, starting in 2015. Last year, there was an interview with him in the Swiss magazine "Cigar", based in Zurich. In the interview, he mentions that he collects each and every ring wrapper after smoking a cigar and keeps them in these huge glass vases. Bumbu Rum Stones (Half-Assed Showcase) Meminshab 2022-05-31 | A quick showcase of the black marble Bumbu Rum Stones, which are designed to cool your drink just like ice does, only without diluting it. The set in front of me is the one I received as a gift by my friend Vasko himself. On another note, I noticed the absurd repetitions in my speech. I sometimes get nervous when I'm my usual self and have to present stuff. My brain turns to mush, don't question it.I forgot to mention that for best results, you should put the stones in the freezer completely dry. Don't immediately pop them back in to cool down after a wash. They naturally tend to accumulate frost and that can water down your drink.This is a passion gig, I am not getting paid by Bumbu. The cats killed a rat... and a mole cricket Meminshab 2022-05-21 | Silver and Ilias, two of the cats at my parents' place, caught a rat and killed it. They spent the rest of the afternoon playing with it, tossing it around like a ragdoll. Two days later, we captured a mole cricket, which they also played around with. It ended up dead as well.Filmed in May 2022.

WIPEOUT (Short Film) - Behind The Scenes Meminshab 2022-04-01 | Behind the scenes on the set of "WIPEOUT". I recorded for as long as possible before we started shooting. I couldn't keep on filming with my camcorder after that, since I was operating the clapperboard for the rest of the shoot. "WIPEOUT" released on the 1st of February 2022 and is competing for several different awards in the "Nikon Film Festival" in Paris, France.I'm one of the producers of the film and I'm really proud of all the hard work everybody did. The shoot was difficult - it was in December 2021 and we spent the whole night filming, up till 6 in the morning. Cold as fuck, but dry. Golden Jackals (Canis Aureus) Calling Sounds Meminshab 2022-03-15 | Audio recorded at night in a small desolate plane in Bulgaria on the 24th of February 2022. There were around three seperate packs of jackals, located in the woods on the various hills that surrounded me and my friend. We were there, because this is one of the places in Bulgaria that has low light pollution and the goal was to capture a photo of Andromeda in its full beauty. Or more like hundreds of them, which later my friend layered and processed to create the beautiful picture you can see at the end of this video. So, to accomplish that, we sat there filming the stars for around two hours and listened to the jackal calls that would explode with intensity and then die down real quick, letting silence take over for about half an hour, before starting all over again.

Stairway to hell Meminshab 2021-08-11 | I recently started running up and down my block's staircase as a way to get extra excercise. One day, I heard this awful sound coming from the floors above mine, so I started recording. I thought somebody was playing some kind of an air instrument and being really bad at it. Eventually, I realised the sound is actually just the wind howling through a door. It was quite strange, I never thought wind could sound so creepy and distorted.On another note, the footage combined with the sound reminds me of something you could stumble upon in "The Backrooms".
One last goodbye to a special place from my childhood Meminshab 2021-08-05 | This house is very special to me. Had many many great memories there. Like shooting proper guns for the first time, waking up to numerous massive explosions coming all the way from Sofia, and not to mention the great parties me and my family had there. A lot of stuff, which might even end up on the channel at some point in the future.Anyways, we had to sell the property, since my parents have a different place now and they also needed the money. I can talk about this place and the various stories I have from there for hours, but it's quite late at night as I'm typing this and maybe I won't be able to fit all the text in here.Filmed on the 17th of July, 2021 in Bulgaria.

Jolt (2021) - On set behind the scenes footage (apartment explosion aftermath scene) Meminshab 2021-07-24 | I was an extra in this film. My task in this particular scene was to pretend to film the aftermath of the explosion as an obnoxious onlooker. Only I didn't pretend, and actually filmed it. You can think of this as some sort of a cheap B-roll footage, as the shot in the film for this scene was really, really wide. On another note, the actual scene when the apartment explodes was quite intense. We had only one chance to execute it, so it had to be really well calculated.Footage filmed in September 2019 in Bulgaria.
Intimidating storm with powerful winds in Sofia, Bulgaria Meminshab 2021-07-21 | This isn't the strongest storm we've had this summer, just the only one I managed to properly film. The storm season isn't over yet, and it has been quite the powerful one so far. In fact, just a couple of days ago, there was a tornado near Sofia that seriously ravaged a village. No one was injured, but old people got quite shaken up.Footage filmed in June.
20 minutes of factory sounds that I recorded on one of my shifts Meminshab 2021-07-19 | Usually, there was always someone around me at the machine I was operating and we would talk while working, but on this particular shift I was all alone. So, I decided to record the factory ambient sounds with my phone, without unnecessary voices getting in the way. This 20 minute segment consists of 2 recordings that I've stitched together. Pistol Whipping in GTA San Andreas? (Bug) Meminshab 2021-07-14 | Game thought I was using the pool cue and it played the animation that CJ does when attacking with it. The sound the gun made when it hit the glass was interesting. I've never heard it before.
Face to Face with Space Shuttle Atlantis Meminshab 2021-07-06 | Filmed in 2017 at Kennedy Space Center, FL. It was mind-blowing to get so close to the shuttle and even touch its peculiar skin (it feels soft and rubbery). You can also see the burn marks on its body really well.
