I haven't played their game in years (I only just booted it up recently to get the "Don't Play for 5 Years" achievement), so I can't come up with a more up to date opinion on it yet, but I'm not going to act like they did that out of malice when it was almost certainly a harmless potshot. For what it's worth, despite my opinion, I am glad that the rerelease of The Stanley Parable is doing as well as it is (Albeit at the cost of my reputation...), and hopefully the game will become exposed to people who can find more enjoyment in it than I did.
