I've been meaning to make a video for her and wanted to capture one of her favorite shows. Hopefully will make a full song/show version of this video in the future.
Visual: Fruits Basket
Audio: You've Got the Love by Florence and the Machine
I lucked out this year and got the great and talented SailorTardis (@katherineperrin4817 )! I knew we both shared an appreciation for Tom Cardy so made a quick vid on a totally stable relationship.

One of the things I know about her is her dislike of the Cats Musical (personally, the original version is a guilty pleasure).

This Clue scene popped in my head while watching the episode, and it's been awhile since I did a short comedy vid like this.

I lucked out and was able to join a super chill MEP group that's now going to be known as Magic Stardreamer Studio. I also lucked out and the theme was magical girls/boys shows. I knew I had to throw in my hat with my favorite subversive sword magical girl.
The whole experience was fun and informative (though I had to spend a good chunk of time on that last mask transition). Can't wait to work with them again!

This was originally made for Project Org Editor (POE) for Round 3, which was 'Tis the Season. I always had the family tradition of listening to Jesus Christ Superstar around Easter time so I thought it was a good personal fit. My sister also came up with this idea many years ago, and I promised I would make it one day.

The CourageousFateStudio group decided to throw a quick Secret Santa AMV event together, and I got Rivkah94. What started as a Rue/Ahiru vid slowly developed into a Ahiru vid with a focus on her duck form. Had a lot of fun with this, and it was nice to edit to Princess Tutu again.

My Project Org Editor Round 4 entry. The Theme was The Magic School Bus, meaning it had to be educational. I've had this idea for years with different shows but never found the time to make it. Gives me a chance to convince people to watch Eizouken.

I made this for the first round of POE, and the theme was Parts of the Body. I think this (sort of) fits.

I had a chance to redo an old AMV of mine, and I decided on the one with a whole bunch of swimming. It was interesting looking back on my old work and seeing how I've worked with only one season. This new video was a bit rushed to meet the contest deadline, but it was fun and I'm glad I participated!
Visual: Free!
Audio: Underneath the Water by Oddboy (youtu.be/U1TAqOp8DqQ)
Had fun with both parts on this MEP. Vicky is a great friend and helped me in the past, and I wanted to repay her kindness in some way. Hope this counts!

Wanted to finish this in time to celebrate the past ten years of making AMVs. What started as a hobby to kill time between college classes became a bigger hobby that helped me travel to different cons and meet new friends. I still have much to learn and more ideas to work on, so I'll keep trying. Here's hoping for more vids in the upcoming years!
Visual: Violet Evergarden
Audio: Human by Ellie Goulding
This was a Secret Santa present for Aeniara (Channel Link: youtube.com/user/SelfishPromises). I always wanted to work with this song, and I'm glad I was able to finally start a series I've been meaning to get into. I might make a more finished video when I finish the series, we'll see.
Visual: Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
Audio: House of Memories by Panic! At the Disco
I promised myself I would use this title if I ever made a RS video. Think it's my best title yet.
This is a spiritual successor to an Utena video I made a year ago. I find instrumentals work well with sword fighting. Also wanted to try entering Akross this year.
Visual: Revue Starlight
Audio: Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24 by Trans Siberian Orchestra.
So I had some fun for this year. I only made two last year and felt like I could do more, so this year I threw every idea I had at it.
I had this idea floating in my head for 2-3 years, but I kept putting it off for other ideas. Pro prompted me to finally put it down and while I wish I had more footage to work with, I'm glad with the results.

I decided to participate in Momcon's AMVs on Stage program this year. The goal is to create an AMV which will play while a Youtube singer sings along to the song.
I chose DAGames and one of his songs because it was catchy as hell and seemed to fit well with a game series I was playing at the time.

Some combos were just meant to be. When's Galavant Season 3?
Special Thanks to my Beta team: Kireblue, Xophilarus, Espressoyourself, Shorisquared, and BecauseImBored. I needed the extra help because I don't have the best hearing and mixing sound effects is harder than it looks.

Ever since I was a kid, I always pictured this song with sword fighting, and Utena felt like the perfect fit. I also tried making this a summary of all three arcs.

I may have had too much fun with the zoom edit.
There was a contest for the show Yurikuma Arashi, and I've been meaning to make a video on the show. Highly recommend the show for those already a fan of Ikuhara's work.

There was a F Bomb MEP made for the F Bombs for Charity panel at AWA. This was one of my pieces.
There was a different version of this I had to reedit to make it less sad.

I found this song online, and I knew I had to apply it to Shinji. I still need to watch the show, but I binged the rebuild movies and spent way too much time on this. This was one of my hardest videos I've made so far, but I learned a lot from this, especially with the editor input from pro.

My second entry for AWA Pro. I was watching 9 to 5 the movie with my parents, and I thought this would be a cute combo. I couldn't find a hard metal version of this song to cut to, so I went with the song as is.
Pro was fun as always, and I got some great feedback on this. Hopefully I can do it again next year.

Due to copyright issues on youtube, I haven't been able to share this video I made awhile ago. After thinking it over, I decided to use a cover and link the original video. Gravity Falls finished the same year I made this, and this was my personal thank you to Alex Hirsch and the crew for making such a funnny, engaging show.

Note: I recommend this video for ages 13 and up. Since I'm using a song from a kid's movie I wanted to make sure people were informed.
I grew up with Captain Underpants, and I really liked the movie and its corresponding theme song. I wonder if I'm ruining my own childhood by making this video.

This was one of those videos I personally liked but due to technical problems didn't look the greatest. I managed to get some higher quality footage so I thought I take a chance at fixing it up.
I can officially say I made more than one video this year.
I felt like editing with this movie, so I made it a challenge to finish it in a week.

This year I tried my luck by entering the AWA AMV contest. I made this as a challenge to use only one source material. I only finished this video in time, but I'm glad I participated. It was nice to meet other editors and take part in the voting process. Here's hoping I make more for next year!
