This symphonic rock/prog inspired song was created during my many attempts to add proper lyrics to my music, none of which succeeded. The polyrhythmic drum intro was the first idea I had for this track.

The reason for this being a single is because I picked my personal favorite track from my upcoming "20", so this is the best song I have to offer!

Except none of the songs on this album sound like this track; every song here will be very different from the next, so hopefully that sounds enticing!

Here's a KK cover of "Because" from the 1969 Beatles album Abbey Road. All instruments were made using soundfonts directly from Animal Crossing. Paul's and George's vocals were recreated with the male villager voice and cranky villager voice respectively.

VreyIsGrey 2023-05-07 | My admittedly rushed entry to the massive Michael Rosen 77th Birthday Collab, hosted by the wonderful Fryciopoop! The majority of this entry was already edited before the deadline, but I hurriedly threw together the rest of the video literally the day before the deadline, such as the last seconds of the intro, a few jokes, and the last few measures of the YTPMV and the visuals. I'm really excited to have an entry in the collab, and I don't think the rushed nature of my entry impacted the quality at all. I think this is one of the best YTPs I've made in a while!

Vrey Is Grey - Un vacío (EP)

This EP started as an experiment where I gathered a few of my piano pieces across all my albums and recontextualized them into a concept EP where these pieces are played back, but considerably worse for wear. This was very loosely inspired by sources like the works of The Caretaker, and Slowed + Reverb edits on YouTube. On top of this, two tracks from previous releases were remade from scratch and given new arrangements. These two arrangements are available as bonus tracks.

The sixth track is unique to this EP and is solely an ambient noise piece, and the seventh track "Surrender to the void" was previously released on Rate Our Music #14: RYM Goes To Hell.

Great minds think alike...The third album in a series of mashup albums is finally here! However this time, there's a twist: I'm not working alone on this project; this project is a joint effort between me and a good friend and fellow musician/mashup artist Extrenor! Half of the mashups on this album were created by me, and the other half by Extrenor. Putting both our shared braincell together, we managed to knock out (almost) every single track in one day. Yes, here it is, back by the demand of absolutely nobody, here is my second mashup album for the dawn of 2023; Year of the Bunny? Nonsense, this is the Year of the Funny!
I have to admit, even after putting out an entire mashup album to test the waters, I never truly ran out of ideas after the fact, some of which didn't make the final cut! Almost every track on this album was made in the span of a month after the release of Getting Permabanned from the AUX Cord 101. Nonetheless, I was rife with enough ideas to put together 16 whole tracks! I really hope you enjoy this project as much as I did making it!
Given how it is the year of our lord 2023, I opted to celebrate the year by literally becoming a bunny for this album cover as a one-off thing (or not, who knows???). This is obviously the inspiration for the title in the first place :)

This track is part of the upcoming "Rate Our Music #14: RYM Goes To Hell", the fourteenth installment in the Rate Our Music series, where users of the Rate Your Music forums submit their own music that they created to turn into a concept album. As such, most of these albums contain a central theme, and the theme for this year is "Dante's Inferno/The 9 Circles of Hell".

This song was written for Treachery, the 9th circle, and is sort of a symphonic black metal/breakcore hybrid. The song was also loosely based on a hidden Easter Egg found in Microsoft Excel 95, also called the "Hall of Tortured Souls", which inspired both the lyrics and the cover art. I collaborated with Gleaming Passage of Time (also known as [~ImaginaryBox] on RYM) for this track. We both wrote riffs for the song and he recorded them on guitar. I added the main elements along with it, such as the breakcore drums, MIDI bass, and general arrangement of the song. Then I asked my friend Nightmare Lyre to produce and mix the song. She contributed synths as well as lyrics and vocals to the final product, and finally I contributed backup vocals as well as lyrics in Toki Pona near the end.

Yes, not only is this the first time I've sang in a song, but I also did metal vocals, which I've never done before.

This track was initially conceived during the making of No one was saved, but for whatever reason, I decided to axe this track and use it as a basis to make a new track (that being Surgery). Which is also the reason for the silly title, as this was the name of the project file; I scrapped it before I came up with a proper title.

Initially, the version of No one was saved had a BandCamp exclusive bonus track with no title, and this is a doozy.
This "track" was just audio that when viewed through a spectrogram, led to a YouTube link, which led to an encrypted MD5 hash, which led to a Discord ZIP link, which contained a text file, which contained an Imgur link that had QR code, which when parsed, would lead to a bit.ly link, finally leading into... a Rick Roll. I kept this for months until I realized the MD5 hash was broken, rendering the entire track useless.

I'm releasing this for three reasons: 1. to advertise this track so I can replace the old bonus track with this one, 2. my streaming distributor doesn't allow editing/adding/removing tracks from albums after being released, so I'm uploading this one as its own track for streaming, 3. I plan to release a full album of previously unreleased content and this track would stick out too much, so keep an eye out.

This is a K.K. Slider remake of "Buddy Holly" off of Weezer's Blue Album.

All instruments were made with Animal Crossing soundfonts except for the drums, being a mix of SGMv2 and Timbres of Heaven. Some backing vocals use the male villager model. The electric guitar is actually just K.K.'s acoustic ran through a guitar amp VST.
