[Brynn Plays] DELTARUNE Chapter 4 Longplay (No Commentary) mistymonster 2025-07-05 | Chapter 4!!!! This is a long one!!!- you can feel my desperation when I start fighting at the dojo and then realize I used all my items during the knight- gonna have to settle for just the one Mike game, my computer can NOT pick up microphone input anymore for some reason, even when I plug in different mics, so I’m rawdogging it with the click controls. I apologize for y’all having to watch me suffer- Yes, I got so focused stacking hats on Kris that I just walked past the chest in that room. Such is life- Also I forgot I gave Ralsei the present in chapter 2 for this file but I’m so glad I did omg at least he had something in his room this time 😭😭- There’s tons of dialogue that runs in the holiday house section (basement/closet bits) but I tried to keep the pacing more natural… with the exception of listening to kris on the piano. if my kid wants piano time, they get it- I have never seen that last turn on jackenstein before somehow so the panic when I start darting around is very real lmfao- Speaking of piano, I know you can play little songs on the church world piano (first 4 notes of megalovania gets you a funny), but somehow I just feel bad about making a joke right after Kris chose to play in front of everyone for the first time. Maybe I’m putting too much thought into this- With the gerson secret boss, you DO get a little bonus dialogue vaguely acknowledging the player if you get it on the first try (which is what I recorded here). That being said, the gerson fight is designed to train susie’s heal, since each time you get the TP up enough to use it it’ll decrease the TP cost next time (you can get it down to 75% I think) I skipped grinding for the sake of time, but I’ll probably get back on and max out her heal before I take this file to chapter 5 for y’all- Yes I skipped the Princess Ribbon on purpose. I can’t do it. I CAN’T DO IT. There’s some extra prophecies in that room so I’d recommend looking it upOk, those are my notes… so yes! Chapter 4! Egg! Moss! Secret boss!Chapter 5 in 2026! ❤️
[Brynn Plays] DELTARUNE Chapter 3 Longplay (No Commentary) mistymonster 2025-06-24 | this is NOT the same file I used for the 1+2 longplay. This is a different file that has both shadow crystals and both eggs. I did the 1+2 longplay without any notes (why…) and did manage to miss the first egg, but that’s the only significant change I can think of. The vessel for this file is named “WRAITH” if I remember correctly, but my name is still in as “BRYNN”, of course. I started using a better name for the vessel so I don’t accidentally make a joke of something serious in future chapters… In 3, there are some moments where kris takes control and it’s way easier to feel when you’re playing vs watching. kris will- - correct your answer on the “kris’s favorite food” and “asriel’s favorite character” quiz questions. on the favorite food one, they will cough and simultaneously hit the button down to select “pie” for you. When you go to pick “green lizard” for asriel’s favorite character based on the toriel dialogue from chapter 1, they’ll cough and throw the cursor back up to the correct choice. - during the zelda dungeon, the player will actually swap and control the little shadow monster for a moment, when you approach tiny game kris with it, they will use the sword on their own and then you switch back to controlling tiny kris again. - resist several times when the player is trying to enter the bunker within the zelda style game (this is why I start walking funny in that room- you can see kris ducks their head a little each time they push against me here) - also, when you walk out of the screen as tiny kris, they’ll back away from you. you control them briefly again to grab the mantle from the chest, then back to tiny kris for the susie dialogue. yes, hitting at susie does get you an extra interaction where kris pulls her out of the way, and you can hit at kris when they’re alone as well, but tbh I don’t wanna make them afraid of me if I don’t have to. for all I know they might remember that in a future chapter.So here’s the shadow mantle route through chapter 3, playing a zelda creepypasta with kris…..link’s awakening egg….And then of course- knight fight! That is… the worst knight win I’ve ever done. But winning with 1 hp left was so funny I needed it preserved forever.As usual, as many goodies and flavor texts as I could find. I'm not doing every wind waker area bc I don't want to step on any toes- other people have already covered this game pretty well. I did at least want to get all the dungeons though. It's a couple minutes shorter because my computer was blowing up at the two hour mark no matter what I did. I'm asking so much of this poor computer lolNow that this is done, I'm moving back to finishing the last few areas of xenoblade wii (which will be easier on my computer anyway)
