L5 Rear differential gear change with ARB Airlocker install-AAM 11.5 . Leviathan super van project. BuilderCreator 2021-08-04 | With the upgrade to 40" tires we need to change our final drive ratio to 5.13. And while we have the differential all torn down, why not throw in some ARB Airlockers. That is exactly what we have done. In this video we first tackle the rear end and upgrade the whole axle as well, with a swap from the Silverado's 14 bolt 9.5 inch ring gear, to an AAM (American Axle Manufactur) 11.5 inch full floating axle.
