Maverick Hunter: The Mega Man X FPS - Full Gameplay Demo [HD] MegaMacTV 2013-04-15 | This is the complete demo of all the known footage of gameplay from this cancelled re-imagining of the X Series provided by http://www.Polygon.com. Footage was compiled in comprehensive order and volume was reduced for more comfortable listening. You know, I've always thought a Mega Man FPS would work if done right. Perhaps starring Axl, playing through his origins. Or maybe just a typical spin-off or side story. I never would have believed one was actually in development.Back in 2010, Armature Studio, comprised of talent behind "Metroid Prime", began work on such a game. The game would have in essence been a re-imagining/reboot of the X Series and be given a techno look and feel very reminiscent of Vanquish (great game). Although I can't help but feel similar vibes of Bomberman: Act Zero and even the ill-fated, next-gen Vector Man (though X kinda resembles a Pantheon from the Zero Series). Designs would have also been provided by Adi Granov, who worked on the Iron Man film series.The team behind Metroid Prime developed quite the game and many would agree that they succeeded in Samus' foray into the first-person fray. Would this have worked for X? Would it retain elements of the X games we know and love? Would the storyline have worked? It better have, as the game was to become a trilogy. But would they have become just another FPS in a sea of the genre? What do you think?

I bring to you a complete remastering and extended cut of my "The Mob Rules/Super Villains" mix.Two days ago of this upload marks a decade since I uploaded the first mix of this mash-up. I intended to try to hit that date, but one thing lead to another and I ran over. Meticulous tweaks, new ideas, conflicts and choices. It became somewhat of a symbiote of my own.The result is a mix that's been fully recreated from the ground up and is truly maximum in every way versus the original. David Bowie - China Girl (Sega Genesis Remix) MegaMacTV 2016-03-29 | As mentioned in my other Bowie Genesis mix of "The Man Who Sold The World", this is the second arrangement of another timeless hit. China Girl is such a catchy and unique song (like a lot of his music) and it certainly transitioned well with the YM2612's synths. Gotta love 'em. It's still really hard to grasp that Bowie is no longer among us, but yet, he will always remain. I can only hope little gestures such as this can bring his music far into the future. Enjoy.

Although it's a bit late since that tragic date, now is as good a time as any to share what could be considered my little tribute(s) to The Man.David Bowie has always been a staple in my life in some capacity. Being prolific in his craft, he would always set out to create something new. He once said that if he felt comfortable in doing something, he must be taking the wrong path. In his time on this planet, he left an indelible mark upon the music industry and the world as a whole. It goes without saying that he's one of my favorite artists and people in general. Why Live and Let Die Should Be in Metal Gear Solid V MegaMacTV 2015-06-19 | Ever since licensed 80's music was confirmed to be featured in The Phantom Pain, everyone speculated as to which songs would be selected. Although not originally released in the 80's, the longevity and timelessness of Paul McCartney & Wings' "Live and Let Die" span well through the decades. Also having been written for a James Bond film, being one of Kojima's influences (especially with Snake Eater), I think it would be a great choice.This video shows why. Shortly after the new gameplay footage of E3 2015 was released, I decided to see if the song would fit by playing the video and song side by side. Smash Bros. - Mega Man Crash Bomb Recovery Boost MegaMacTV 2015-03-01 | By attaching a Crash Bomb to the side of the stage to take some damage, you can reset your Up B, allowing for a boost back to the ledge. With timing and precision, this can be performed more often. I still need more practice. lol.
Sonic the Hedgehog 3 - Uptown Funk/Launch Base Mix MegaMacTV 2014-12-21 | Launch Base Funk gon give it to ya!It's been quite a while since I've made a mix, but I'm back with a bang. Dunno how frequent I'll make more, but whenever one comes to me, I usually try to sort it out. This one had to be done. Uptown Funk is a fantastic new (at this time) jam by Mark Ronson, featuring the talented Bruno Mars. While discussing mixes with a friend, we were enjoying the song and I wondered if any sort of game track would be suitable for making a new mash-up. I decided to give Launch Base Zone (both Acts) a whirl, and considering a lot of Sonic 3's soundtrack is groovy, things immediately began to fit. I think it turned out to be one of my better mixes, it hits the spot. Don't believe me? Just watch!...or listen rather. lol

Mighty No.9 - Becks Beginning MegaMacTV 2013-09-03 | For those unaware, Mighty No.9 is a new, ambitious project by Keiji Inafune, legend in the video game industry and "father" of many franchises including Dead Rising, Onimusha, and perhaps most importantly, Mega Man. Funding for the project began August 31st, with it reaching its initial goal of $900,000 at 11:19 A.M. EST on September 2nd. As anyone can see, this project embodies the spirit of the Blue Bomber we know and love. The team behind this project is comprised of Inafune himself, along with an all-star cast of Mega Man alumni. It's no secret that the Mega Man franchise has been rather neglected as of late, so many consider Beck a successor to Rock.To reflect these feelings, Tumbler user, "All things Shwei" drew a very touching comic strip in which Beck is given the blessing of all the Mega Men. I enjoyed the comic so much, that I decided to "animate" it to appropriate music, one of my favorite Mega Man tunes, the ending theme of Mega Man X5. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Come Together (NES Stage 5 Mix) MegaMacTV 2012-12-04 | Not too many enjoy the TMNT NES game or have had patience and perseverance to go far in it. However, per Konami fashion, the music is great. It just so happens that one of the later stages, stage five, has some familiar music. Being a lifelong Beatlemaniac, I associated the tune, especially the bassline, with "Come Together". The similarities are rather apparent so I just had to make a mix. Dynamite Headdy - Jump (Schumacher Fly Mix) MegaMacTV 2012-11-21 | The music of this level of Dynamite Headdy always reminded me of certain 80's music. One song in particular; Jump by Van Halen. Everyone knows it! Had this mix waiting in the wings for a while. Had to cut and condense the Headdy song rather significantly and then edit the vocals to it accordingly. Tweaked it and made it work as I went a long since the songs aren't entirely similar. May be kinda short, but I think it sounds pretty great and catchy for what it is. Hope you do too.
Christmas Ash MegaMacTV 2012-09-07 | Let it snow...or is it? Poor Grandpa. He was a stellar fisherman. Could clean and gut a herring in five seconds flat. He knew how to manage money as well as women. "One in the same, eh?" he would often say. With a shit-eating grin he would tell dirty jokes with such a dry humor which complimented his drinks. He was a very hard-headed man, but that didn't stop the bullet any. His Christmas was a blow-out.
Sonic Adventure - I Will Survive (Speed Highway at Dawn Mix) [Remaster] MegaMacTV 2012-08-29 | 8/28/2012: Re-uploaded. Rendered audio in better quality and tweaked the mixing for a better listening experience. Adjusted volume levels and channel balance to distinguish both songs clearer. Still retained both songs in their entirety, without any isolation, to express their stunning similarities and how they fit. (Previous upload will be removed upon this video surpassing it in views)While listening to Sonic Adventure's Soundtrack, I got to this track and bam, I instantly connected it with the classic hit, "I Will Survive" by Gloria Gaynor. I must admit, it is a very odd blend, but surprisingly they work perfectly together. Same beat and chord changes. Pretty awesome. I didn't really have to do much when I made the mix. Just one of those mixes, lol. Hope you like!
Mega Man 7 - Thriller (Wily Castle 2 Mix) MegaMacTV 2012-06-18 | I'm sure a lot of people have caught the similarities between these two songs, but to my surprise, no one has tried to actually mix the two together. Well, I gave it a shot and it sounds pretty good! Unfortunately there is no acapella of Thriller available (at the time of this mix's creation) and trying to isolate MJ's vocals is pretty tough. What I did was equalize it the best I could to make the vocals the most prominent, though the instrumentation of the two songs sync very nicely. The percussion is almost identical and the notes and timing harmonize quite well (after tempo adjustments of course). It's a pretty uncanny comparison. Hope you enjoy what I made of it!

Jet Set Radio HD - Soundtrack Trailer MegaMacTV 2012-06-01 | Ah, the unique and stylish Jet Set Radio in stunning HD! This is the official music trailer released by Sega of America in which slick moves and gameplay are displayed with the killer soundtrack. Coinciding with the release of this trailer is the reveal that 99.9% of the Worldwide Soundtrack is featured in the game. That's right, all the songs that were region specific are now all in one. I hope you're excited as I am to relive this excellent and underrated experience. Hopefully this makes it less of such. Thanks so much, Sega! =)
Mega Man Legends 3 OST - Donner Wels Battle MegaMacTV 2012-05-01 | Recently a well known fan in the Mega Man community, Hypershell, created a rendition of the music in the "Legends are Manufactured" trailer. It can also be heard in the gameplay footage of Barrett combating the "Donner Wels" Bonne mech. As such, the tune has been dubbed "Donner Wels Battle" or things of that nature. I was inspired by his take on it and decided to try my hand at cutting the music. What he did was use the second part/verse (with the underlying strings) and looped it by using the bridge that leads into said part. After that it goes into the ending crescendo and loops back around. I felt that it left out a couple parts of the ditty I enjoyed, such as certain horn parts. While his rendition is a bit more edited, this version simply retains the intro and loops the main part once. Sonic 3 - Superstition (Marble Garden Mix) MegaMacTV 2012-03-12 | Had this mix in the works for a little bit now and finally finished it. I find the two songs to compliment each other greatly. I feel the ancient, unknown sound of Marble Garden adds more "suspicious" mystique of the timeless Stevie Wonder hit. Almost makes a whole 'nother version of the song. The chorus of the song works wonders. "Nothin' more to say" about this mix, I suppose. It speaks for itself. Enjoy!

Out of the blue, the next Dreamcast title, hailed by many, finally gets a confirmation of a new HD remastered version on PSN and XBL! This game series is one of my personal favorites and it has been sinfully out of the picture for years. Aside from that proposed Wii game that was pitched, this will definitely suffice for now. Seeing is how this is a teaser, no details have been dispensed yet, but definitely HD, maybe 3D, possibly Move control (Would be awesome to use the wand as a spraycan!) and possibly the online capabilities the Dreamcast had. Only time will tell! Fun fact: This was revealed on my birthday. Sega knew...Sega knew...;D
MegaMan ZX - Voice Acting Demo MegaMacTV 2012-01-03 | This is an audition for characters in TheOmega360's MegaMan ZX fandub. Very interesting style of dubbing too as the gameplay is also dubbed! Everything down to the littlest of sound effects. It's great! I decided to audition for a few characters, so this reel has a bit of variety. Even though this is MegaMan ZX centric, this demo can serve as an example for certain vocals I can do. Lines were provided by the project's creator, though I swapped out and added a couple. Paul McCartney - Goodnight Tonight (Sega Genesis Mix) MegaMacTV 2011-12-21 | By request of more McCartney/Beatles songs, I've created a take of the Wings song, "Goodnight Tonight" in the Sega Genesis style using "The Ultimate MegaDrive Soundfont". I just love the drum & bass sounds the Genesis/MegaDrive has and I think it works with this song quite well, wouldn't you agree? The little acoustic flamenco style solo in the middle sounds very magical. Now, some songs don't sound as good when arranged with soundfonts, but always gotta try! Hope you like this one. =)

Misty Grove - Original Track v.1 MegaMacTV 2011-12-09 | For some reason, this short but sweet piece came to me one day. Don't really know why. Just a random burst of inspiration I guess. Sounds like it could have been subconsciously inspired by Japanese composer, Tomohito Nishiura, known for his work on the Dark Cloud and Rogue Galaxy soundtracks.
Come, The Rain - Original Track MegaMacTV 2011-11-30 | This started as a freestyle piano recording that I played during a nice day with the window open, feeling a nice breeze while it looked like it might rain. Had some problems with noise in the recording so I had to work with that a bit. While the little piano ditty was good, I felt it deserved more, so I elaborated and layered on some extra instruments and sounds. In the end, I think it turned out fairly well, but it's still not fully finalized. Maybe one day! I think the picture gives a good impression on how I feel about the tune.
Paul McCartney - Coming Up (Sega Genesis Mix) MegaMacTV 2011-10-08 | I present to you another arrange track. One of my favorite Paul McCartney tunes, Coming Up, redone using a Sega Genesis/Mega Drive soundfont. I must say, this one came out better than expected! The drums, bass as well as the tempo and instruments used overall remind be GREATLY of a Sonic Casino/Carnival Zone. That's definitely a good thing and it surely could work. ;D

I'm actually surprised no one has done it yet! A bit short, but came out pretty good. No acapella for Music to Watch Girls By so I had to work with the track the best I could.
