I got this unit for free but paid for its shipping in exchange for a shout out 😄Shipping took a while. In the meantime, my original contact to the company has disappeared from Instagram 😅 (take that alone as you will) but a promise is a promise 😆So what do i think?The screen is nice but small and the emulation seems solid. On the other hand, the machine is very light but in a cheap way. As a plus the buttons are ok and the battery is exchangeable.I didn’t count the games but as usual for these devices games repeat...so i guess there are more likely 300+ games actually there.My order was missing the shown extra controller and the screen has a dead pixel...Are there better similar devices out there? Sure. For that money with no work? I don’t know.UPDATE: As for now the Coupon Code that i got provided doesn’t work anymore! Nintendo DS and Nintendo DS Light Turntable View 🥰 Spielkind RC 2021-01-27 | A other turntable view of my lovely DS’s 🥰For me the pinnacle of Nintendos handhelds.It’s crazy how Nintendo’s success influences other markets all the time. In this case the touchscreen suddenly was made mass marketable and touchscreen gaming was a thing. 😝I remember i thought this would be more like a useless gimmick. But Nintendo was right and changed the landscape forever again. 🤪My DS collection is by far smaller then my Gameboys or Advanced. For me the older i get the less i played with handhelds. A trend that continued with other consoles like the PSP too. But it hasn’t something to do with my eyesight but with that i don’t game on the move anymore. I drive now i don’t get driven somewhere. I don’t take bus or train rides anymore 😅And when i play portable nowadays it‘s the Switch or now the Evercade I gravitate to. 🤔For me the games i think of first on the DS would be Professor Layton or Ace Attorney. Games i miss but still don’t play anymore even when i could.
