This track was created with the AKAI MPC Key 37 and I used a pack called Glitterball to create this GTrack. This track ended up being a little more complex then I originally anticipated with 36 samples/synts and effects all done using the MPC Key 37. It would have been too much to perform live but I am so pleased with the end result. The MPC Key is so capable with all of its onboard capabilities and the new 3.0 beta software is truly amazing. Lightning Storm GTracks Complete Novation Circuit Tracks Playlist - Great Background video!!!!! GTracks 2024-10-24 | In this video I was in San Destin Florida with my wife and we were woken up by a series of huge lightning strikes. I set up the camcorder and recorded the entire storm and then I added my complete Novation Circuit Tracks catalog. Starting at Track 1 and going to Track 89, all of the songs were created 100% by me using the groovebox Circuit Tracks. All audio was recorded from the Novation Circuit Tracks through an audio interface, no DAW was used in making or recording any of these tracks. HWJ Challenge - Iberian Night of the Seahorse GTracks 2024-09-30 | This track was created with the AKAI MPC Key 37 I built a series of loops and then proceeded to mute and unmute tracks. At the last minute I found clip launch which might be a little bit of cheating but I felt it tied in so well. MPC Key 37 Poolside Azink GTracks 2024-09-12 | In this video I am overlooking one of the pools here at the condo in Florida. I have been toying around with a lot of ideas the past month and this is one of them. We drove 14 hours to get here and it is worth it every time. I was a little hesitant to take the MPC Key 37 outside in the heat and humidity but everything seemed to be ok. With the new 3.0 update coming out soon I really want to go through the projects that I have been working on and at least get some good takes.Hey y'all, I am back bringing you a brand new piece of amazing awesome-sauce. These are my thoughts after using this phenomenal machine for six month now. MPC 3.0 is coming!!!!!! I am still in awe and all of this still rings true. Every time I turn it on I learn something new and it has been totally amazing learning what this machine has to offer. I have to be patient with myself and learn at the speed I am comfortable with to unlock all the greatness that is the MPC Key 37. The easiest way to start is with a drum kit which provides you with a set of 16 drums and sounds to choose from to make a custom beat. You then can add an additional drum kit or single sounds to round out your beat. The Key 37 also offers a dedicated button to be able to go right to your keyboard sounds/ Plug ins that will get you going quick. Straight out of the box it comes pre loaded with all of this and AKAI offers additional bundles so you will never get bored or tired of the same sounds.. I look forward to exploring and sharing what I learn in my Sessions/Tracks to come. This is a personal journey, and whether you choose to share your music or keep it for yourself, don't let the outside noise distract you from creating - the process should be fun and should make you happy. This session is a work in progress to see what works when arranging, not everything will always work together but until you try you wont know. Crazy Lightning Strike hits the Ocean!!!!! San Destin, Florida GTracks 2024-08-22 | I was just in Florida and I was woken up by a huge lightning storm at 3am. It took me a minute to pull myself away from the window and go get my phone. I was so mesmerized by the brilliance of each lightning strike on the ocean and the thunderous booms. Circuit Tracks and FREE Korg ER-1 you will be assimilated Lets Go!!!!!! GTracks 2024-08-09 | Hey y'all this is something I did a while back and I wanted to share it. Please let me know if you want to see more of these two machines together. This was a test between the two machines and I loaded up a few samples on the Circuit Tracks and then flipped through some samples on the Korg. I didn't know what was going to happen so the Circuit Tracks samples I chose were from one of my favorite 90s shows. Star Trek Next Generation. Resistance is futile and you will be assimilated. I was really amazed at how well these two machines worked together. ( like best friends ) I planned on this being a short video so I was just holding my phone and using my other hand to trigger everything. Sorry if this video is too shaky but I got into it and couldn't stop 🤣So I was scrolling through some posts on Facebook for another groovebox and I came across this Korg ER-1 machine. I didn't know much about it and it looked pretty neat up so I reached out to find out what they wanted for it and I was totally shocked when I showed up to pick it up that there were two Korg machines ER-1 and ER-1 MK2 💯 for free. Neither one works perfectly but I was ok with that and excited to see what I could come up with. I am really impressed with the sample quality of the Korg ER-1. This thing bumps!!!!!!!! I do need to do some repairs to both machines to get them back to top quality but it won't stop me from using it the way it is for now I have gotten a little side tracked with the Key 37 and some great new packs for the Circuit Tracks. Life is so busy and expensive and all of us have to work which leaves very little precious time to fit in other things that we love. MPC Key 37 Air Filter Gate Effect.....So Cool!!!!!! GTracks 2024-07-14 | This session I learned that using an effect to get a shutter on one of the tracks made the song exactly how I wanted it. I started with 4 different plug ins and then I added a drum kit and I was off and running. I find that building all the different tracks and then going back and muting different tracks allows me to hear a preview of what I want the song to become. After that I add some effects and start to take everything into song mode. This session was my first attempt chopping up a sample and using it in a beat. I used the chopped sample on tracks 1 and 2 and then drum patterns on tracks 3,4 and 5. Not only can you use the pads but the keyboard as well to record your pattern and this I find to be so cool. This is a really fun way to make music and I look forward to using and perfecting this technique in the future. This session I created a 4 bar beat at 120 BPM with the MPC Key 37 and used 11 custom tracks to create this. I recently got back from the beach and we decided to take a walk on the beach at sunset. If you look close there are our footprints in the sand that the waves had not washed away. So Cool So Beautiful so we decided to print it to remember that moment. I was able to use a plug in to create a synthesized arp and pluck that was the basis for this Track. The possibilities are so amazing with this machine and I am so pleased with this purchase.
