The Drum Corps International World Championships Old Soul Mermaid 2022-08-17 | This video is a departure from my normal fare, but this video documents our recent trip to Indianapolis to attend the Drum Corps International World Finals to see our youngest son perform with the Blue Devils, an elite drum corps. This trip was bitter sweet for us because it is the last time we will see our son perform and compete on the competitive scene. This was his age out year and marks the end of his competitive marching career…though he still has one more semester of Longhorn (party) band before he graduates this fall!There is no sound of the performance footage (just my voiceover) due to copyright, but down below will be a link to the Blue Devils’ channel showing their Victory Run performance for those who are interested.
