I thoroughly enjoyed my time with these levels regardless of the fact that I choked pretty bad on all of them somehow. Delta Interface aged extremely well, but unfortunately my enjoyment was tanked a bit thanks to me dying to the most free ship ever made HALF WAY through my journey. Sigma Interface surprised me because I've always heard the opinion that it's bad. Omega Interface was my favorite of the three even though it was the most difficult and even after brutally losing control at 89%. Props to Platnuu and these levels' verifiers for making some bangers!

I am shocked about the hate for Cryothorn Hell especially because the last wave is actually really fun, and I think the level looks pretty cool as well. Although, I'll admit I am a sucker for the classic glow style. Sakupen Joy was not very fun but I'm pretty sure that was the whole point. Other than the weed spikes I actually liked everything but the ending wave.

The NATURAL DISASTER Trilogy by Bianox and More | Extreme Demons

samtaylor 2026-08-15 | I've been wanting to beat these 3 levels for pretty much as long as they've been out. It's really cool to finally have finished them off. Now for the levels themselves, I'll start with the good. Hurricane is an excellent level in every aspect and it greatly exceeded my expectations. On the other hand, Tornado was the biggest disappointment I've had for a LONG time. I was super hyped to play this level, and to be completely honest, 35-100 is fairly enjoyable. However, the pre-drop is maybe the worst thing I've played in any easy extreme ever. Cyclone was mid because of the learning process but felt amazing compared to Tornado. So in summary, play Hurricane, maybe Cyclone if you want, leave Tornado alone.

Maniac by Eridani And More - Extreme Demon

samtaylor 2026-07-21 | I love this level. Everything from the Decoration, the Gameplay, the Effects, the Song, all around this is one of the most fun experiences I've had playing something. There's not many levels that use the new 2.2 features that I like, and this level not having any swing probably contributes to my love for it. I highly recommend anyone with the skill to beat this tackle it. It looks really intimidating, but it's only around Bloodbath difficulty and the learning process on the waves is well worth it. The only gripe I have with this level is that the pre-drop is 60% of the level. However, the innovative gameplay keeps it interesting and exciting, to where I never really got bored while playing it.

Edge of Destiny by CDMusic and more - Top 60 Extreme Demon

samtaylor 2026-06-29 | I remember watching this level in awe when it first came out. The decoration definitely lives up to the hype. I would have enjoyed this a lot more if there weren't so many chokepoints. It honestly felt like I was running into a couple brick walls over and over and hoping to phase through them. I got some extra motivation from @GdSpar when he started getting some more progress on it, and quickly made progress myself. Shoutout to him and good luck on finishing this beast! It is clear to me how much better of a player I am since The Hallucination. I obviously have played Blade of Justice a lot in the past so that helped me learn this level pretty quickly. I have a lot of confidence going into Firework based on how easy this felt for me. Although, I may have to take a little break to prepare, and have a lot of levels I want to beat in the meantime. Also, @SamtheFman is currently over here in America so we'll be uploading a lot of content involving that.

Delta by Drakosa and More - Extreme Demon

samtaylor 2026-03-02 | After I beat Crimson Planet and when I was planning the rest of my Demon List Alphabet, I was looking through some of the D's on the Demon List. Delta was the obvious choice as I love watching the level and have always wanted to beat it since Doggie's verification. Delta ended up being the best list demon I've ever played. Not only was it exciting to learn and get good at the level, but the ENTIRETY of the experience was fantastic, even with the amount of end deaths I had. Almost every part has outstanding theming and excellent gameplay. Everyone in this collab absolutely cooked, and I would whole-heartedly recommend this level to anyone with the skill to beat it.

Speedrun is one of my favorite extreme demons now. The learning process took a while just because of how fast the level is and with it having some off-screen transitions. Once I started getting better at it though, I had an absolute blast. It just flows quite nice and is very satisfying to play. The only downside of this level is the balancing.

- The Hell Factory
Attempts: 2151 Enjoyment: 8.5/10
Now this level SURPRISED me. I've been dreading possibly beating this for so long because I'm not a fan of long memory sections, and I was really scared to learn the dual section. What I'd come to realize is that they are very forgiving and intuitive, and that The Hell Factory is honestly one of the best old Extreme Demons. TeamN2 peaked with this one.

Bangarang by LP44 - Extreme Demon

samtaylor 2026-01-18 | This level is intriguing and looks really cool, but I was very disappointed with the gameplay. I don't know what it is with Personhuman verifications, but a lot of them have what I like to refer to as alien click patterns. The level felt completely unnatural to play, and because of this, it got really annoying quickly. I wanted to like it pretty bad honestly, but it didn't turn out that way.

My best achievement ever, my best video ever, my best thumbnail ever. My MAGNUM OPUS. I am still in shock that I beat this and I probably will be for a long while. About the level, it's honestly pretty fine. The learning process was really satisfying and rewarding. Progress is slow and tedious though because of the super hard and lengthy pre-drop, which honestly ruins the level for me. Maybe if I played it as a 2nd or 3rd hardest it would've been better. The gameplay is honestly really fun and I love the deco and theme, so it's pretty disappointing that it's not enjoyable to complete it.

Rigel by Dan2D - Extreme Demon

samtaylor 2025-02-21 | Let me preface this with the opinion that this level is fantastic. Despite the struggle I had, Rigel was so much fun throughout my whole experience. The intense and fast-paced gameplay kept me interested and it never got boring. Now, my experience was mind-numbingly tragic. I died to the outro many times, and the second wave absolutely destroyed me, even though it's by far the easier wave. Not to mention I'm still incredibly ass at 2.2, even with CBF. Although, I am getting better slowly but surely, which is great. There are a few specific timings and quirks that make this level imperfect, but that is being unfair and extremely picky to a creator that made a phenomenal solo nine circles list demon, maybe the best one currently on the list.
