3ATIVE VFX Studio 2022-11-24 | My How-To on building a fully automatic, stand-alone ESPHome / D1 Mini based 5-24V PWM PC Fan Controller - Ideal for keeping any equipment cabinet or WLED controller cases cool.

Using a DALLAS temperature sensor it'll control the fan speed, from 0 to 100% automatically - based on a threshold temperature you set in Home Assistant.
This project also features an ALARM Function that will alert you if the fan has been running at MAX speed for longer than 10 seconds!

3ATIVE VFX Studio 2022-04-20 | How to create your own custom firmware starts with deciding what you want your NSPanel to control. This Photoshop tutorial will walk through downloading basic MDI Icons and making glowing 3D GUI Elements for a Light, some Buttons and an ESPHome Thermostat.
So you will learn how to make your own interface from scratch, or use my included Photoshop file as a template.

I use ESPHome with Home Assistant, I find it easier to customise than tasmota 😉

Home Assistant - Why not Light Groups?

3ATIVE VFX Studio 2022-01-20 | A couple asked about 'Light Group' - I tried it... It doesn't work as well.

EDIT: I found the problem... One of the Lights I added to the 'Light Group' is an RGBCW (Bulb Main Light, in the demos) - If I remove it, the 'group' works. So, I stand by my original Node-Red setup as that works with any and all my Lights. My NR tutorial: youtu.be/FyHhlcHRPJ4

ESPHome Tutorial: Motion Sensing / Triggered Switch Strip Lighting - with Timer

3ATIVE VFX Studio 2021-09-20 | Not only for kitchen cabinet lighting... use anywhere motion triggered lighting is needed: Bathroom, Bedroom, Stairs, etc. I'll walk you through how to make this motion sensing LED strip light switch step by step.

💥 BONUS: Unlike a PIR Motion sensor to switch your lighting, the Microwave binary sensor can sense through walls - making it easy to hide. Use it elsewhere in Home Assistant for presence detection and/or Alarm System.

All functions / features have been programmed on ESPHome flashed D1 mini. No need for complex Home Assistant or Node-Red Scripts, Automations, etc.
Just add a Light to your Home Assistant Dashboard / Lovelace and put the Day/Night Mode 'activator' switch in your scheduler and you're done!.
