During IBC 2024, Nino was at the Blackmagic Design booth and interviewed Craig Heffernan about a special announcement from the brand: the possibility of recording Blackmagic RAW from Sony FX6 and FX9 cameras. This news continues the company’s effort to provide Blackmagic RAW to other camera platforms through the Blackmagic Video Assist recorder. At IBC 2024, Nino discussed the Solidcom C1-Pro Roaming Hub with Lawrence Leigh from Hollyland. The Roaming Hub supports communication for up to 20 headsets and six groups, has a range of 1,600 feet (500 meters), and is backward compatible. YC Onion Tako lightweight tripod features a new one-way single lock mechanism. While aimed primarily at photographers, it can also be equipped with a fluid video head. Featuring an integrated leveling bowl, a maximum height of 177cm/70in, and a 1/4" mounting thread with locating pins, it will come with either a ball head or a video head.
