300pt MESBG - Rohan v Isengard (Learning Game) RubbishInRubbishOut 2020-11-26 | I'm a big fan of the Middle Earth Strategy Battle Game (MESBG) from Games Workshop, as well as the movies by Peter Jackson, even the 3 Hobbit movies!! I've wanted to start making good quality (well, I hope they will be!) battle reports in a format that allowed me (and others that come to play) to actually play a game without feeling like we are "making a battle report".This is the first "proof of concept" video, there are lots of things I want to tweak (and have been tweaking for ages already!), but if I don't start just putting things up, it's never going to happen!Your feedback would be most valuable in knowing what I can improve to make the experience great for both of us!In this game, I am playing a 300 point game, Rohan vs Isengard. I'm playing Scenario 2, "To the Death". Chroma Keyed Dice Tray for wargaming battle reports RubbishInRubbishOut 2020-11-21 | Does a 'dice-cam' to help make watching wargaming battle reports better? What if the dice tray was invisible and all you saw was the dice rolling across the screen? 216 Colour Primers?! - I have a look at the MTN 94 paints from Montana RubbishInRubbishOut 2020-11-14 | I've used a lot of 'graffiti' paints to paint miniature wargaming terrain before, but never really found anything that I liked for using on miniatures as a colour primer ... well, that might have just changed!!If you like to paint miniatures using a colour primer such as those from Army Painter, Vallejo or Games Workshop, you might like to take a look at the MTN 94 paints.I've been waiting for the art store to get these back in stock and I have to say I'm VERY impressed! MANY years ago Eureka Miniatures made an awesome line of figures that were unfortunately canned by MGM under a C&D (cease and desist) so they are only available now on the second hand market.
