Some things I forgot to mention in the video:
Same as the old implementation, this program only accounts for the very basic world generation code. When generating chunks, minecraft first creates the basic outline of blocks in a chunk (what this program also does), and only after that creates everything else like caves, mini lakes, tall grass, temples, mineshafts, trees, snow, etc. Therefore if you try to include blocks from any of those features in your formation then it will likely not work. Generally you should just try to use normal looking grass/sand blocks at the top of the world that are not nearby any of these features.
If you don't want to do biome filtering, leave the biome id list empty and it will search (do chunk generation code) in all biomes.
Due to the "heightmap" search, try not to use formations in areas with mountainous overhangs as the height can be ambiguous to the program.
Using terrain samples that are hilly and not flat work best for a formation that is more unique and should lead to fewer false positive search results. The formation I used in the video is a good example of this.
To stop the search while it is running, just click the search button again.

Maybe this could be useful for cactus farms in 1.12 and versions before those mega efficient ones. It helps compactness and you get the 2x growth.

Correction: For the LCG math, the numbers are modulated by 2^48, not 2^48 - 1, modulation by 2^48 is equivalent to a bitwise AND with 2^48 - 1.
FAQ:
Does it work for 1.16/1.17?
Yes, bedrock generation works the exact same in 1.15 as 1.16/1.17. Just select 1.14/1.15 in the program and it will work for 1.16/1.17.

Yes, there shouldn't be a problem with performing this in survival. You would need to push budded rails into unpopulated chunks via slimestone and of course ensure you are able to generate a flowing liquid source in a specific location with world population.
You should be able to do this with both flowing water and lava sources, including lava in the nether.
I was thinking this could potentially allow for a block meta changer, but haven't really attempted to make one yet. Let me know if you can create one!

Disclaimer: People have been reporting problems with the download. I think it may be because if you log in with a render distance that is too high you will immediately trigger the chunk population, and the stackoverflow exception won't get caught and your game will crash. Try logging in with a lower render distance.

Something I forgot to talk about in the video is that, due to the piston base block 36s being deleted, we also can no longer make bedrock breakers that preserve all pistons in block form, and also, the tilable bedrock breaker I showed in my last headless piston video no longer works.

Obviously spawner farms are inferior to regular type farms, but on some public servers (usually Spigot) mob spawning is often altered and sometimes spawners are the best source of mobs, so I think this can be useful for people like that.

This was partially inspired by this really old video by JL: youtube.com/watch?v=jADfI2wh1Cw where he shows off a triple blaze spawner. He said that they made a spawner finding program but never released it. I wanted to see if I could manage to find a quad spawner and managed to succeed.

FAQ:
Will you post the source code?
I am hesitant to do so in a legal sense since this program basically contains classes directly ripped from the MCP decompiled minecraft source code. If you really want the source there are many java jar decompilers available online that are pretty easy to use.
Can you make it faster or update it for the new versions?
I do want to do so at some point. The ideal solution involves running it on a GPU with OpenCL/CUDA but this basically requires a ground up rewrite. Same for the new versions. I actually started a basic rewrite in C++ a while back but I ran into world generation inconsistencies that I think may possibly stem from type differences between Java and C++. I'm sure there is a workaround but I haven't to find a solution yet. Edit: Nvm the C++ version works. I will hopefully be able to release a GPU version in the not too distant future. Remember that you still would need to make sure that each previous spawner already passed deleting the position where the next spawner is placed, or your spawners will be deleted.

I forgot to mention that the end of the water stream theres a command block that teleports the sapling planter back to the start, ideally you have the player taken to another module of this farm or back to the start if built in survival. Also theres an auto sapling planter command block nearby the on/off switch you can toggle with a repeater lock. If you download the world you should probably activate the hopper minecarts under the dirt, there are levers there.

NOTES: The farm is DIRECTIONAL, I didn't mention this in the video but it is. Make sure you build it in the right direction. When planting the first jungle tree I'd make sure to place the one in front of the dispenser last so you don't grow a 1x1. Also the tree cycle is roughly 14 seconds for those interested.

~several stacks of apples/hr
~3,300 bonemeal used
~3.6 log/bonemeal ratio
CHANGELOG:
Basically two major changes, both of which I showed in the video. First, I found out you can force the tree to generate up instead of down. Allowing us to have a fixed area for leaf generation while still being able to harvest more logs (6 high, meaning 24 logs per tree almost always). In the farm I use a piston for the block forcing the generation, also having it powered by the leaf breaker on the way by to get 1 extra leaf per tree. Secondly I incorporated my fast bidirectional engine with the leaf breakers, improving the leaf harvest speed a significant amount.

Thanks again to Scicraft for the original dark oak farm that gave back enough saplings, this farm wouldn't exist if they never made that one.
No it doesn't work with bedrock, as I showed in the video.
No world download for this one because I don't think there is really anything very useful in it.
One use for this is in my dark oak tree farm. The flying machines would be able to harvest the leaves faster. Potentially this could be useful for quarry tech too, as I showed in the video BUDs being pushed by the flying machine are able to hold falling blocks.
Sorry about the bad lag in the video. Lots of pistons in this build.

What do I mean by lossless? This contraption I made uses a vertical version of SethBling's slimeblock drawbridge( youtube.com/watch?v=U-m5UonqvFk ). Having this in your tree farm allows for maximum height growth of jungle trees, 12 blocks, while preventing oak trees from growing branches by limiting them to grow 5 blocks high max. Other people have used slimeblock quad/quintuple extenders to allow trees to grow up to 10 blocks or so, but this one doesn't prevent any growth.
Have any questions, comments, concerns or just want to say something? Leave a comment, I will respond to them all as usual.

STATS(/hr):
~7,000 logs
~2 stacks of saplings(bonus)
~3 stacks of apples
~3,000 bone meal used up
CHANGELOG:
The farm now is able to harvest logs up to 4 high instead of 3 (yay). I had to make some changes for this to be possible. The bud leaf breakers on the log pusher and log exit sides have a bottom corner block cut off, this was necessary to prevent the slimeblocks to sticking to the logs/pistons. Doing this created 6 unharvestable leaf spots(I was able to save 2 spots with single upward extenders powered by a redstone block on the bud as it was pushed by). As somewhat of a "consolation" to this, I added a double extender from the top(2x2 directly above the trunk) to get some extra leaf blocks as they commonly generate there. Another issue you may ask me is, "What about the saplings that land on the logs and pistons/wiring? Theres no hoppers so how do they get picked up?" Well on the side with the pushed out logs the bud flying by easily pushes them off to the side when it goes by. On the wiring side I was able to make the wiring mostly out of hoppers. On the part where you need a solid block at the side of the pistons I used soul sand with a hopper minecart underneath, within a the same space as where the redstone dust is needed. Hopper minecarts not on rails are still able to pick up items through soul sand, so it worked out well (they can't pick up through a full block if they arent on a rail). When the saplings land directly on the pistons they eventually fall through or get moved to the side as the pistons always move and mess with them after every tree grows.
I added a log pusher system that allows 1 bedrock wither cage to harvest all 16 logs at once.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
I highly recommend building this farm as it is (currently) the fastest Dark Oak farm that also returns enough saplings to sustain.
If you build this farm and make it in the overworld, I recommend doing it next to a skeleton spawner. The bones from the spawner should be plently to keep the farm going as it only takes 3,000 bonemeal/hr to run the Dark Oak farm.

For the obsidian generator, the rails MUST be in the direction they are when they are placed originally (Facing north/south) otherwise they will create cobblestone instead of obsidian. If you are wondering, nor the duplicater or obsidian generator work with normal rails
