[SUB-6 PB] The Worlds Hardest Game 1 speedrun in 5:48.633 MegalordX8 2026-04-20 | After 5 years I finally achieved a sub-6 speedrun in this game. This took a lot out of me to say the least and I never expected to achieve a time like this so soon, so I give my thanks to TWHG community for all their support. This was made in FL Studio 20 and I decided to not use the soundtrack from TWHG2 as it was not only made by a different composer but it dosent fit well with the other tracks and the 'epicness' factor isnt apparent in that soundtrack. The first thing I did was transpose the TWHG1 and TWHG4 soundtracks to the pitch of the TWHG3 soundtracks to fit with the theme. I personally think this remix was very successful and I was able to play around with some effects such as volume and EQ automation. I even added a reverse section which was inspired from FLAME WING which included a reverse section. Look out for that when listening. The section where FOUR is the main bass track is taken inspiration from both ICE WING and ACID WING where there is a dramatic build up. I feel as if this is one of my most successful sampling projects to date.=== Video material ===The thumbnail for this video was inspired by Danicker's thumbnails for the Flame Wing and Ice Wing videos that are linked above. I created the remix entirely from samples from the soundtracks composed by Snayk in his TWHG Album that is linked above with no additional sounds or instruments or audio material. The soundtrack from TWHG2 was left unused in this project as it does not fit in well or has the same "epicness factor" that all of the other soundtracks from TWHG series have. FL Studio 20 is a professional DAW (digital audio workstation) and it is fit for purpose for creating a remix like this as I was able to play around with effects such as automation in both volume and EQ. If I had used a piece of software like Audacity like Danicker did for Ice Wing then I would not of have had the same control over the effects as I did with FL Studio 20. The quality of audio clips when transposed and stretched is to a very high standard in FL Studio 20 and this is the result of developing a software with time and care put into it. To say I had fun making this remix is an understatement. I enjoyed every second of it. Making each section and listening to it again and again was very satisfying to say the least and stringing all the sections together forms a piece of music which I personally feel to be one of my most successful sampling projects to date. Now this remix is a long remix and that is mostly inspired by the fact that Flame Wing and Ice Wing are very long remixes themselves and they have many sections to them that dont repeat over and over again and so this was another reason I was inspired to make Acid Wing like this. I tried my hardest to keep everything in time and there may be some sections where it may sound out of time but it was the best that I could do with the time I had on hand.=== Video material ===The thumbnail for this video was inspired by Danicker's thumbnails for the Flame Wing and Ice Wing videos that are linked above.
