Mostly inspired by Manta at SeaWorld Abu Dhabi, the ride stands only 87ft (26.5m) tall, and has a track length of 4250ft (1295m) - making it both shorter in height and length than rides like Maverick, Taron, or Cheetah Hunt!
This ride features dynamic and fast paced layout that boasts a world record 30 airtime moments, across multiple strong ejector airtime hills, twisted transitions, and 6 inversions! Depending on the dispatch interval, multiple self dueling moments produce exciting near misses, such as the high-speed pass through the Corked Stall, or the Cutback threading the first inversion. The reflections off the skybox give the trains an almost iridescent finish to their colors, which I am begging for a park to figure out on a real coaster train.
When I first started making this ride, I fully intended to create an area around the ride as a way to test out the new pathing system in NoLimits 2. Obviously, I got ahead of myself and instead made something more out of the box for me. For whatever reason, Red Velvet songs just fuel me with inspiration for making rides lol, at this point it should become a series for me...
Due to the sheer quantity of elements the ride has, I tried to vary the forces throughout to create an engaging layout that provides the majority of it's thrill through the quick, almost staccato-like pacing.
Anyone who knows me knows that I am not very privy to 3D Modelling, especially on a scale similar to theming for a coaster lol - I take no credit in the actual creation of the rocks, I simply made the ride & it's supports, as well as the arrangement and placement of the asteroids. Huge thanks to my good friend RobbinBob for assisting me with parts of the modelling and some finishing touches! If you read till here omg yayyyyyy, hope you enjoyed Cosmic as much as I did while making it!

The ride is designed to be easily cloned and built at smaller parks looking for a high-thrill coaster! Vortex starts off with what would be the world's first Inverting Launch, sending riders to its max height of 91ft at speeds up to 30mph. Exiting the launch in an outer-bank first drop, riders plummet towards the ground, hitting a max speed of 50mph. The ride then enters the world's first Zig Zag Finnish Loop. This element is similar to the already proposed Zig Zag Loop on Intamin's Vertical Launch Coasters. The train then powers through an overbank and strong S curve, providing intense forces on all axis! The straight hill immediately after provides the strongest airtime on the ride and sends riders into a sustained low-to-the-ground turn. It then enters its 3rd inversion, a high-speed roll over the pre-launch. The last speed hill provides a short pop of floater air, before entering the final inversion - a small Dive Loop. The back row receives some great lats and positives as they're dragged through the loop. The front row then receives one last pop of ejector as it enters the final brake run! Vortex packs in 11 great elements into just over 1600ft of track!
Vortex stands 91ft tall, has a top speed of 50mph, features 4 inversions, and 7 airtime moments! Personally, I really enjoy Vortex's layout, and I believe its pacing is pretty strong! The final brake run would also use "new" technology, to allow the ride to run two trains. In theory, (aka I didn't make it in NL2), the valley in between the final dive loop and brake run would have stators throughout it, giving it the power to stop the train before it enters the final brakes. Doing this allows the ride to gain another block and smoothly run two trains! If, for whatever reason, a train needs to stop in the valley, the stators are strong enough that they can propel the train up into the brakes, either single pass or swing style. This would greatly improve the rides capacity for parks that need it! I'm not sure if this would be able to exist in real life, as I'm not too sure a drive tire launch could do the first launch, *but* I believe Intamin could find a way to put LSM Stators and the needed hardware on the track/trains, making this possible.
Vortex stats:

This coaster launches riders to a top speed of 73mph before entering a one-of-a-kind tophat at a max height of 175ft. Riders twist 180° down as they rocket out of the tophat and into the world's first Double Zero G Roll! This crazy element flips riders 720° in rapid succession at high speeds, while also giving them multiple sections of sustained 0g. The ride then enters an Immelman with a stall exit, allowing for multiple seconds of strong hangtime. The ride's largest sustained ejector moment comes after in the form of a large, 112ft tall, sustained -0.8g airtime hill. The ride quickly turns up to the left before going through a downward roll and one more ejector moment into the brakes. Overall, I think this layout is pretty fantastic and I really want a park stateside to buy one so I can ride it quicker! My recreation itself is not perfect, but I tried lol I was busy don't hate me.
Ride Stats: Height - 175ft (53.5m) Speed - 73mph (117kph) Length - 2929ft (893m) Inversions - 4 Airtime Moments - 7 Max Positive G's 4.2 Max Negative G's -1.3Figure 8 Loop Insane Intamin Patent | NoLimits2 Multi-Launch LSM Coaster | Patent RecreationSavage Coasters2023-02-20 | Intamin has received the patent for the new generation of the Figure 8 Loop! On said patents, there was a sample layout, and this is a recreation of it. The layout is fairly short, featuring only a few elements, but almost all of them pack a big punch!
The ride starts off with a slow turn onto the main swing launch track, quickly starting to accelerate towards the figure 8 loop. The ride stalls about halfway up and beings to roll back, launching backward over an intense ejector airtime hill on the swing launch. The train then shoots up the 270ft, 110-degree steep vertical spike, giving multiple seconds of amazing hangtime. Rocketing over the ejector hill one more time, the ride hits a top speed of 85mph, as it shoots up the massive 240ft tall world's first Figure 8 Loop! Giving some hangtime and a unique view of the circular tower supports well into hyper heights, it is one of the most visually stunning elements a coaster can have! The train spirals down and rockets out of the Figure 8 Loop and enters a 180ft tall Banana Roll, inverting riders two more times! The train then shoots into another world record element, the world's fastest inversion! This heartline roll is taken at 78mph, and is sure to be one of the highlights of this intense ride! The train flies over a banked airtime moment, giving riders some amazing ejector as well as strong laterals. With 2927ft of track and a total ride experience of 3770ft of track, this ride blows through most of its track at an incredible pace!
I really want it built lol... As much as I love this element & layout, I think some may be blowing this element out of proportion. The pull-up into the tower does not go past more than like 4.5g, and sustains much less (lower 3's), before giving a little bit of hangtime at -0.4g. The element will be quite safe, and still an amazing experience - but I think this element's true strong point is its off-ride presence! I also sorta messed up the supports for the tower but I was too far into the tower before realizing the much easier way to do them lolllll, oh well.
No stats were reported in the patent, so these are just my interpretations of the limited blueprints. I have full faith that Intamin could build smaller, and larger versions, of this same layout depending on a park's requests.

Big thanks to CoasterHub on Instagram for their help in giving me amazing reference photos that are within the patent!KingSlayer | RMC Son of Beast Concept | Raw POV | No Limits 2 | 5-Hours of PowerSavage Coasters2023-01-03 | KingSlayer is my take on the classic RMC conversion of Son of Beast. The template I used was the one from 2022's 5 Hours of Power Contest, where entrants were tasked with making a complete conversion of the iconic Son of Beast coaster in just 5 hours. Now I did not compete in this because you would catch me dead waking up before 8AM to participate in a contest that has largely not been worth it in the past 3 or 4 years, but I actually really enjoyed this one! So in spirit, I (roughly) timed myself doing the layout and made this in about 4.5 hours. Obviously, that does not include the truss, but I don't really care lol.
KingSlayer is a massive Hyper RMC Hybrid Coaster packed to the brim with intense airtime, fast inversions, and extreme pacing! When building this, I really wanted to try to not use the pre-drop section of the old Son of Beast as a pre-drop on this, as I found the other attempts to use it visually ugly and didn't add much to the ride. So now, exiting the first drop, there is a tight overbank turn which sustains some decent positives and sets up the next elements perfectly. I do not remember what possessed me to make the next element an Iron Gwazi-style outerbank, but I'm so happy it worked. The ride hits its top speed exiting this element and overall it would be one of the most intense elements on the ride and is certainly a highlight. With the loss of the giant wooden structure of the first drop, I knew the ride needed something else to make it visually imposing. Riders rocket through a 170ft (52m) tall vertical loop, paying homage to the original Son of Beast without hindering the ride experience. I know RMC has said they do not build vertical loops (because ride centerline cannot design them properly oop) and that they would've put a stall here, but I think a stall would've felt odd on this. I removed both rosebowls as I couldn't figure out any elements to put there that didn't feel forced. The rest of the layout is full of more amazing and unique elements in a mess that pulls from the intensity of Iron Gwazi and Zadra, the length of Steel Vengeance, plus a very high-speed train fly-by at the bottom of the first drop!
My friends say it would be their #1 if it was real but idk lol, there's a chance it could be I guess! Regardless, KingSlayer is a ride I am extremely proud of and one day I hope to give it a more fleshed-out video so you all can see even more this ride has to offer!
I hope you enjoy KingSlayer as much as I enjoyed making it!

When CoasterPete released his GTX kit I knew I had to build one. I threw this coaster together in like idk probably 3 hours one night while I was really sad about Sophie dying LOL. I was going to call this ride Xeon because of that, but I don't think this ride does it justice, so I just chose a random Sophie song name...
Vyzee is a quickly-paced high thrill coaster with lots of unique elements to give a thrilling ride experience! I tried to mirror aspects of industry professional Joe Draves' design style (Inability to do inclined half loops, perpetual fear of sustained positive g's, etc.) and incorporate them with how I design them to create something that would be fresh and exciting to the industry (if real). For this being a quick build, I actually really enjoy this and think its a strong layout!

Big thanks to my friends Marv and Julian for doing the amazing supports on the massive spike and letting me use their Top Thrill Dragster recreations for this! This is something I made late 2020-early 2021 when I was really missing CP during the offseason lol
Dragster 555 takes the iconic Top Thrill Dragster and turns the thrills up another level! Cedar Point continues their reign as coaster supreme as they build this record shattering coaster.
Standing at 555ft tall, this is the first coaster in the world to break the 500ft tall barrier! Hitting speeds of 135mph, it is the fastest coaster in North America and the 2nd fastest in the world, and fastest backwards coaster in the world! The ride has 21.5 seconds of airtime spread across 5 airtime moments, two of which set the records for fastest backwards airtime moment and fastest airtime moment in the world! The ride breaks many many more records, almost too many to count.
The ride starts off with a launch from 5-65mph (0.8g) sending the train over the airtime hill, giving riders a semi-weightlessness feeling (*not actual airtime*). Riders then quickly boost to 95mph before climbing the first 300ft of the ride's original tophat! This first spike gives about 5 seconds of weightlessness before it sends riders into a 1.3g backwards launch, catapulting riders into a backwards ejector airtime hill reaching almost -1g at speeds of over 110mph! The train accelerates again reaching a top speed of 135mph as it rockets riders into the 555ft tall 540° beyond vertical spike! This 93° steep spike allows riders to feel 7 seconds of airtime, as they take in the twisting view of supports around them and an amazing view of the surrounding peninsula. The ride then coasts through the last swing as it flies over the airtime hill at 123 mph, pulling -1.3gs. The riders then go up and over the original 420ft tall tophat and spiral 270° back down into the brakes!
Due to the increased length of the train, as well as the more consistent operation, the ride's capacity actually increases! The original Top Thrill Dragster could launch 18 riders every 60 seconds, while the ride was only 17 seconds long! This gives the ride a theorhetical max capacity of 1080. Now, this ride can launch 24 (or 20) people up to once every 50 seconds! This gives the ride a potential max cycle count of 72 and people per hour capacity at 1728!

I created this layout during the early stages of the pandemic as I had visited the year before with a friend and we were discussing how we would convert this ride if we were in charge. This is the *exact* layout as I thought of at the park that day and honestly I may be biased, but I absolutely love it! Most of the layout was designed around the idea of the curved stall and the low to the ground roll. That roll does push the boundaries a little but would, in theory, be safe for riders and the trains. It would most likely be my favorite part of the ride too!
Hope you enjoy it! :)
Ride Statistics: Height: 120ft (36.5m) Speed: 55mph (88kph) Length: 3357ft (1023m) Inversions: 4 - Heaven Roll, Curved 200 degree Stall, Heartline Roll, Barrel Roll Airtime Moments: 21Bakeneko | RMC Wildcat Concept | No Limits 2Savage Coasters2022-08-21 | In Japanese Mythology, Bakeneko are monster cats that have lived long enough to transition into yokai (a class of supernatural monster) and gain many powers. They are determined to kill the ones who raised them, and will curse you if you survive. Wildcat, having lived a long 26 years, has now gone through an extreme transformation and is now a Bakeneko.
So many people have been doing this conversion lately, but nobody really explored the ideas that I had for the layout, so I tried it myself (is that arrogant? i dont want to be arrogant). Much of the ride is travelling backwards through the original layout, as I felt it eliminated a lot of the bland turns you could barely work with. Also, I pushed back the lift hill and made it steeper so the ride could have the straight first drop, instead of one that has to awkwardly turn do to the original structure. I made this in just over like two days, so there isn't a *ton* of detail put into the ride, such as the supports being kind of a mess. I think that the layout is fairly unique, and the forces are all within boundaries that RMC would build in. I have the dispatch time set pretty fast, so the ride has a surprisingly high capacity for an RMC. It takes exactly 60 seconds to get one train out, so with 6 cars of 4 and 60 dispatches an hour it brings the rides max theoretical capacity to 1440 people per hour. And yes, the little racing section passes clearance with both trains.
Hope you enjoyed this small project! I have a few more really cool rides that are all like 85% done which I will try and finish sometime :)Helios | Premier Rides Quad Launch Coaster | No Limits 2Savage Coasters2022-05-09 | Helios is a high-thrill Premier Rides Quad Launch Coaster that participated in NoLimitsCentral's Seaside Screamer 4 competition. The ride placed in the top 10 and was praised for its' fast pacing and unique elements.
Height: 151ft Top Speed: 63mph Length: 4126ft Inversions: 6 (or 7 if you count the spike as 2) Airtime Moments: 23 moments of 0g or below
I was inspired to try a Premier Rides coaster as I have a close friend who is just finishing up an internship at the company, and because it was something I had never done before. Premier coasters are known for pushing the boundaries on forces, often times sustaining more than 4gs and spiking at nearly -2gs of vertical forces. I wanted to take their design philosophies and push it to the next level - one that I know they can do, but just not one tapped into by real parks yet.
When making the ride I started with the spike, as I wanted the challenge of fitting the entire spike within the limited blue section of the template, and I felt that the design it has was extremely interesting visually and ride wise - yet still managed to be safe.
I was not going to finish this ride by the time the contest deadline arrived, but Thom pushed me just enough that I said screw it and quickly slapped together some supports and called it a day. I think they're passable, but nothing stellar.
Overall this was a lot more fun than I imagined it being! I think the layout is pretty strong as a whole, and think the end product is pretty good!Big Apple Coasters New Trains are Testing! It is me, Savage Coasters, and today we are here to talk about one of the most discussed coasters of the 2019 season – Hakugei.
Ever since Nagashima Spaland announced that their old wooden coaster “White Cyclone” was said to receive the infamous Rocky Mountain Construction treatment, enthusiasts all around the world were absolutely ecstatic. White Cyclone was one of the world’s largest wooden coasters and possessed something many other RMC conversions did not have, tons and tons of wood. The structure was HUGE, and enthusiasts started to flood the internet with their predictions for the massive coaster. Many of us avid coaster freaks started to speculate, could this be the best coaster in the world? Some immediately jumped to the conclusion that we were in store for a Steel Vengeance killer, while some were left wanting more. As the ride continued to be built, the divide between the two groups grew further and further apart. And this leads us in to today’s video: Why Hakugei SUCKS.
