Frontload wood at island vs shipwreck Ninjabrain 2021-02-20 | CONCLUSION: Island frontloading is better. Comparison between frontloading wood at shipwreck vs at island. Some notes: the shipwreck route in this example has no leftover sticks for a shovel, so in a real run you need to get at least one more wood. The logs also fly all over the place, in this optimal example they all flew together but usually you lose time because you need to swim around and collect them. Everything in the shipwreck example is pretty much optimal (didnt make any mistakes afaik, and the log RNG was perfect), where as the island example could have been faster (faster chest looting), doesnt rely on log RNG, and still gets the same time.

Blaze bed variation, Highbed Ninjabrain 2021-01-13 | Blaze bed variation that destroys more blocks close to the spawner. For best results use netherrack or soul sand (they have low blast resistance) to build the beam that you place the bed on. You can place planks or nether brick on top of the spawner, planks work best in my experience since it has the perfect blast resistance.

2RD Guaranteed milkless monument (Skip to 2:54) Ninjabrain 2020-12-13 | Skip to 2:54 for the monument. Only reason I did this in survival was as proof of concept. Explanation: Elder guardians will apply the mining fatigue debuff every 60 seconds to all players within 50 blocks. If you set the render distance to 2 and stand where I do in the video, the elder guardians are not ticked because they are too far away. As you can see, I can stand in the same spot for 60 seconds without getting the debuff, which is impossible if an elder guardian is loaded. When I pass the chunk border I get the debuff because the center elder guardian becomes loaded. The boarder that you "should not cross" is at the same place every time, meaning you can easily raid the monument without being feared of being debuffed.Honorable mention to jojoe77777 for being close to discover this before me.
