I asked her what kind of track she'd like to see, and gave me the song, laid out the main idea and gave specific instructions for the middle and the end. The Little Lab Rat & The Big Escape: A Line Rider Adventure its banky 2021-02-07 | reject humanity, return to monkeIn all seriousness, this is the first time I've been able to complete a big project (longer than 3 minutes, not including Aria, which was functionally a big scribble + took a couple hours) and it feels AWESOME. Start to finish, this track was a blast to make, a joy to show to my friends, and it still makes me feel giddy to think about how much it felt like each new hurdle was worth the effort I gave it. I started listening to Snarky Puppy more and more as winter set in, and when I got to "Binky" by complete accident, I had two simultaneous thoughts:- "This would be a *really* cool Line Rider track."- "I wish I had the attention span to make it."Turns out, with a little bit of planning and some friends to talk to while I worked, the time taken to make this track flew by with a startling efficiency. My sincerest gratitude to anyone who joined me on my weird little journey into the architecture of the lab and the world in which it resides.

Somewhere Else: A Line Rider Love Letter its banky 2020-06-14 | far away, but not for long-----this track is a love letter! I'm a year out of college, and my partner just graduated, so we've been apart while I did job hunting and she finished college. (she got three (!!!) degrees and landed a sick job out of college -- I'm so proud of her.) I made this as an expression of what I thought commitment might look like while we can't be together all the time. it's based on a metaphor we've used as a way to explain that commitment -- that if our lives can branch in so many ways, commitment is the continual choice to grow our branches together.the track itself has a complex history. rabid (Ben) made the track to be scened by someone else. it got bandied around for years, and finally, I said "hey, mind if I take a crack at this?" and they were more than happy to send it my way.
