all synthesizer sounds: #Roland #JD800 Digital Synthesizer (1991) drums: LinnDrum (1982) recording: multi-tracking recording, played by hand
For me one of the best Digital Synthesizers ever. The sound is different to the later JV series and also a bit different to the rack module JD-990. Vangelis used this synth a lot on the album "Conquest Of Paradise"
RetroSound synthesizer demo videos since 2007. All is for free. If you like my work, I'm also happy about a small donation or a purchase of my music albums. All is very welcome and helpful. Thank you!

One of my favorite tv series in the 80s Magnum, P.I. is an American television series starring Tom Selleck as Thomas Magnum, a private investigator living on Oahu, Hawaii. The series ran from 1980 to 1988. The Magnum soundtrack was written by Mike Post and Pete Carpenter (1982)

This cover song series contains my own recreations of my favourite songs from the last 50 years. The original music from which I take inspiration belong to their respective owners. I recreate tracks only for personal passion and to pay homage to these tracks. My intention is not to create covers that sound exactly like the original (if you want to hear identical sounds, please listen the original). It's more of an inspiration with my sounds from the old synthesizers from the past and of course the great appreciation for the original performers and producers. One of my favorite synths in my vintage collection. The Oberheim OB-Xa Analog Synthesizer from the year 1980
2 VCOs Saw and Pulse VCO Sync and PWM VCF 12/24 dB/Oct 8 voices
I have the Oberheim OB-X too and I played the OB-8 and the new OB-X8 in the studio. All OB synths sounds different. The sound character is similar but not identical. The most powerful synth is the OB-X. The OB-Xa is perfect for pads sounds. More lush sound. The new X8 sounds more modern. All is a matter of taste.
