Like they were passionate and madly in love with each other but still you could sense how much is still rooted in friendship their relationship: like her rambling and him just staring at her in awe, them being so domestic and at ease with each other, cracking jokes and teasing each other and, most of all, being so emotionally connected and just being there for each other. All those things were just so *them*, and I think this is the kind of relationship dynamic that we wanted and expected from them in season 7 but never really got and I don't wanna rise my hopes too much but I really wish this seson will be good to us; that doesn't mean I want all sunshine&rainbows, but just be able to see them getting through whatever problem is gonna be throw at their way and being each other's safe place. I mean after season 7, we deserve this!I also wanted to thank some of the steroline shippers that hang around twitter, for always being so nice to me and keeping my motivation and inspiration high while editing this video, especially Anny (.twitter.com/forbesantiago) and Neidiane (twitter.com/grahamogers); but really the whole steroline fandom is the nicest. mike and eleven | my tears are becoming a sea michi. 2016-08-19 | I made this video in about 3 days just because I totally got obsessed and I needed to channel all those Mike and Eleven feelings into something. It actually feels a little bit weird to ship two 12 year olds but hey, it happened: you can't choose your ship, the ship chooses you, right?! lolMike and Eleven probably are my favorite part of the show, along with the entire kids squad of course. But really, the whole show is amazing, I was surprised by how much I got addicted to it. Everything about it is captivating: the story, the characters, the cinematography, the 80s vibes, not to mention all the "ET" and "Stand by me" references, and oh Lord, the acting is just brilliant. If you haven't already done so and have some spare time on your hands, you should totally check this show out.

That part that no one else could ever have, love or understand. They're twisted, connected in a permanent way and the "I will always love you" quote that they shared in the last episode proves this. I think this is the main reason why I still love them to bits, in their own complicated and, yes, maybe even wrong, unhealthy way they're unique and special. And yes, I love THIS. I am not ashamed of say it. Fuck the romantic, simple and boring love. He was the only person who truly understood her. And Lyla for the first time was really herself. And there was so much more meaning behind that.
