Why do you see a difference between the exploitation of animals raised solely for meat and animals raised for dairy or eggs? The animals raised for dairy or eggs are tortured for a longer period of time, have their children taken from them who are killed and wind up at the same slaughterhouse once they are no longer profitable ANYWAYS! In fact a person choosing to eat beef over any other animal product actually kills less animals than someone eating chicken, eggs, dairy or fish as cow is a big animal and the 100s of kgs of flesh can be used to feed way more people. So more people fed for only 1 murder. But for chicken, fish, dairy, eggs etc. so many more lives have to be murdered to feed same amount of people. Would you now promote consumption of beef? No right? Because even if it meant less suffering, there is still a murder happening which can clearly be avoided. That is what we Vegans are also saying. You Dont Need To Eat Fish | Plant Based Omega 3 | Inspirational Speech | Animal Rights | Veganism Arvind Animal Activist 2023-02-27 | The human body does not need fish it just needs a source of Omega 3. You see even fish themselves don’t create an omega 3 fatty acid, it is made by plants. Fish eat algae which is a plant that produces long chain EPA and DHA Omega 3 fatty acids. Now we do have other plant sources of Omega 3 on land such as Flax seeds, hemp seeds, chia seeds and walnuts. These foods contain the precursor to the long chain fatty acids which is ALA and the human body converts this into the long chain fatty acids. Eating 1 tbsp of ground flax seed is more than enough to get all of the Omega 3 fatty acids in a day. If someone if worried that their body may not be able convert the ALA into DPA and EHA they can simply take an algae based supplement. Not to mention when you consume fish there high chances of you consuming high levels of toxins due to the laws of bio-maginication. Biomagnification refers to the accumulation of toxic substances in the food chain. The toxic chemicals that are naturally released into the aquatic environment by phytoplankton are absorbed by the lower organisms such as smaller fish. These chemicals are then transferred to different trophic levels when lower organisms are eaten by other organisms.That means that higher-level predators-fish, birds, and marine mammals-build up greater and more dangerous amounts of toxic materials than animals lower on the food chain. With us humans at the topmost of the food chain we are exposed to the most number of toxins from so called “sea food”. Leaving animal cruelty aside for a minute, Fish is a horrible source of Omega 3.So there is no need support industries or individuals who head out at sea and use nets and hooks to capture innocent fish who can feel pain and suffering as much you and I can, suffocate them and then bludgeon them to death for Omega 3. The hotel is themed from top to bottom with the famous Charlie Chaplin as the mascot. The tables are decked with pictures of Charlie Chaplin and even the lights at the store are shaped like his infamous bowler hat. I tried a variety of dishes but the ones that stood out the most for me were the Vheema Pizza, Vutton Burger, Vhicken Burgen, Soya Chaap Wrap, Thai Green Curry Bowl, the Strawberry Ice cream and the Banana Walnut Muffin. There are those children that are born to Vegan families and grow up Vegan from day 1, there are those who hear the message when we are kids at school, teens at college or even adults at work. Deciding to change at different ages has it's challenges especially when we are younger as we are still under the care and authority of our parents. For most of us, our parents are not supportive and with only recently having our eyes opened and having witnessed a lot of animal cruelty we tend to get really aggressive in communicating why we have changed. In my personal experience this has not helped me effectively communicate to my family, friends or colleagues. Yes there exist many people who will mock and make fun of, asking us repeatedly the same question and berate us.It is best to ignore such people (which is the vast majority). Save your breath for there are 100s out there who will listen, you just have to find these people. When communicating with your family it is best to communicate clearly yet gently as fighting and arguing constantly would only lead to damaged relationships in the future. Being from Indian households parents already have a major problem when a child chooses to go against the grain. Be clear, stand your ground but don't be rude if you value the relationship with your family. But this is not the reality.The first important thing to understand is that meat i.e animal flesh can be obtained only by killing an innocent animal, there is no other way around this. It does not matter whether this takes place in a village or in the cities, this is 100% cruelty.Regarding the dairy industry animals still have to be forcefully made pregnant which is immoral. In case the baby born is a male he is considered useless to both the dairy and egg business as male bulls cannot produce milk and roosters cannot lay eggs. Keeping this animals alive means that they would take up limited farm space, consume more food and water as males are larger and do not give the farmer any monetary return.Killing these animals at birth is the only way to sustain a profit for the farm. It is impossible to raise animals for the eggs and milk with exploiting them and killing them. Ronaldo was a male calf born into the dairy industry. Seeing as male calves cannot produce milk and cannot bring a profit to the dairy industry they are either sent to the slaughterhouse or they are abandoned on the streets. Ronaldo was abandoned on the streets and suffered an injury to his leg which soon grew into an infection. He bled and limped for days on end but no one bothered to help him. After he was rescued and brought to the sanctuary he recovered and is now living life to the fullest. The dairy industry is just as cruel if not more cruel than the meat and egg industries. Despite having a logical and scientific approach to other aspects in life, he throws all of that out the window when it comes to Veganism, because this now challenges him to actually change habits in his life instead of just providing lip service. Like most other human beings he is an addict of meat, dairy and eggs. When cooked in certain ways these substances can cause immense pleasure to humans and makes us secret a lot of dopamine (chemical in the brain associated with pleasure). He is unable to give up this addiction and also does not have the guts to admit that he is an immoral person who tortures animals for pleasure. Veganism in India | Republic Day Special | 2022 Arvind Animal Activist 2022-01-26 | Today marks the 73rd year since India became a democratic republic nation. However in our current laws animals are still not given protection. They are considered as mere commodities to be used and exploited by humans. According to our laws a human has the right to forcibly impregnate, enslave, kidnap and murder an animal. In fact those who do so are encouraged by the government and are provided subsidies for their services. We live in a country and also a planet dominated by male humans where a select few have placed themselves on the top when it comes to politics, business, religion and almost every other field. Through years of struggles many disenfranchised groups such as women, minorities, underprivileged castes, LGBTQ community have managed to fight and at least attain equality on paper when it comes to their rights. Animals however still remain in the same place they were 1000s of years ago and both the number of animals and the methods we use to torture them have only gone up.The only way to end animal cruelty and change the laws is for us to get together and protest but that will never work unless "we" are larger in number. What do I mean by "we"? We are Vegans. Vegans do not consume the flesh (meat), mammary secretions (dairy), ovulations (eggs) or regurgitation (honey) of any animal. Before we ask the government to end this madness we need to stop supporting this madness ourselves. There are plenty of resources available on the Internet to learn about Veganism. Please take your time to learn about Veganism, live as a Vegan and join the cause. Our animal brothers and sisters have suffered enough. Let us put an end to this evil once and for all and truly make our country the land of ahimsa.
