Learn more on our website: altaeros.comAltaeros Autonomous Aerostats Rapid and Permanent Deployment OptionsAltaeros2024-07-16 | Altaeros builds aerostats suitable for both short-term and long-term deployments. Need something that can be deployed with one day notice? The ST-Flex can be towed by a standard truck, and set up in less than a day with a small team, making it perfect for temporary and emergency deployments. For example, the ST-Flex can rapidly deploy critical communication services to help in the event of a natural disaster or to quickly provide coverage to a hard-to-reach community or industrial site. If you need something more permanent, the ST-300 has a larger capacity to serve more people for longer periods of time. One ST-300 covers the same area as over 10 traditional ground-based cell towers. Both the ST-Flex and the ST-300 fly at a height of 1,000ft, and have a signal range of over 25 miles, so whatever aerostat you choose, your customers will stay connected.ST-Flex Commercial Payload OptionsAltaeros2024-06-12 | Altaeros Aerostats excel in providing a large coverage area with 4G/5G, Fixed Wireless, IoT, or other wireless technologies. One autonomous aerostat can provide up to 25 mi (40km) coverage radius to deliver connectivity when and where you need it most. The rapidly deployable ST-Flex system can cover rural communities, businesses, or industries quickly to get your operation up and running fast. Do you have a specific requirement? Our team of experts will work with you on a custom payload that meets your exact specifications. SoftBank and Altaeros first launched the ST-Flex on May 2, 2022 and performed evaluation tests through May. ST-Flex carried SoftBank’s base station system, which was equipped with its proprietary cylindrical antenna that realizes communication area footprint fixation, to a height of 816 feet (249m), where it was connected to their ground equipment via optical fiber and power conductors embedded in the tethers. From SoftBank’s announcement: "The newly developed high-altitude tethered aerostat base station system was operable at higher altitudes and carried heavier communication payloads, and it also achieved wider area network coverage with greater communication stability during the trial” Details and additional results from SoftBank’s telecom testing can be found here: softbank.jp/en/corp/news/press/sbkk/2022/20220622_01Discussion of SuperTower use cases with Director of Customer Solutions, Peter MittonAltaeros2021-11-04 | An interview with Director of Customer Solutions, Peter Mitton.
