Love is Blindness (OUAT FACELESS - MVT Ch5) helenluvsboo 2013-11-08 | An exploration of images/objects of love, looking at how love influences our choices and (at times) blinds us.This is my first time doing a faceless video and it was super challenging! I enjoyed making it. Of course, my love for this song didn't hinder that at all!It started out as a Captain Swan focus, then moved to all of OUAT, and then Gremma became the most obvious pairing, if any, and then it just became a muddle, as this is really a fandom video looking at recurring images in Series 1 and 2, with a focus on objects/images connected to love.I was planning a faceless video to this song for a while, and then HollowShadowWolf pointed out that the MVT Vidding Contest has a Faceless Challenge (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qnka6Npe2SE), and, well, I just had to enter!This video's really simple, just plays with images. Neverland (OUAT Fan-Made Series 3 Trailer) helenluvsboo 2013-09-30 | Yes, I released this AFTER the pilot. Slow Helen is slow, whatever.I wanted to create two scenes that we didn't actually get to see from last season: Emma considering returning to the Enchanted Forest, and Henry interacting with his kidnappers more. I hope they don't disappoint.My ideas about Neverland differ from the show, but that's okay. I love the idea of Peter and his shadow being separate entities; Peter being carefree but the Shadow, while separated from him, is actually evil. Dealing with children being children as well as a malevolent force would be both kinds of exhausting for the heroes/antiheros of OUAT. Emma especially would not be looking to play games with Pan while the Shadow looms and Henry is still missing.I also would like to see Emma and crew fighting monsters/beasts in the forest... hence the werewolf clips from DW.Rumpel turning on them immediately is something I anticipated. I just made it pretty sinister... bye bye Greg Mendel.I used clips from OUAT, PotC, DW, and PP. I was originally only doing parts batch 5 (about Orphan Black), but I offered to fill in and batch 11 (Stargate SG-1) because they needed to be done and I wanted to vid another science fiction fandom.Parts Batch 5: Orphan Black. I'm loving this new series and jumped at the chance to vid it. I emphasized the "clones" and the "science" of this science fiction/drama show. I feel that the diverse and different "clone" characters, as well as the "underground" science world are what make this show very interesting for me (mixed up with Kira and motherhood, which comes in as well in these parts), and I hope you all get that from these bits!Part Batch 11: Stargate SG-1. I love this series a lot and it has been almost 2 years since I vidded it. I pounced on the chance to dabble in it again when there was a parts batch still open. I focused on Vala, using her first episode (8x12 Prometheus Unbound) and a later one which is very much about her (10x8 Momento Mori). Amy refuses to leave her, even though they are barely surviving. After the latest and longest test and an attack the two women barely escape, Natasha resolves to send (an unknowing and unwilling) Amy home next time The Doctor comes through. Amy is too wrapped up in travelling with The Doctor and Ruby is working through so many self-love issues associated with her werewolf and human identities, dealing with having two personalities, and living in a post-curse storybrooke, which is a trial until itself. Both are passionate strong women who have self-confidence issues. They are separated too much and they do not communicate. I really tried to show two people who have fantastical lives but do not communicate about them to each other. Worse still, they idealize those lives and each other rather than getting to know and understand either. Watch for shots where they could be talking, but they both seem unable to do so. While they have chemistry and care for each other, neither of them communicates their wants, needs, or desires. Neither is in a place to start a relationship, and this ends with them both alone and wondering about what could have been if the timing had been better and they had both tried harder. ---If Wolfie doesn't squee and/or cry, I'll be super upset.Because I made it for that purpose: to tug on her heartstrings and give her lots of feels.---Explanation for "Amy Roulette": HollowShadowWolf and I were joking about how we ship Amy Pond with everyone, and then AMY ROULETTE was born! ... Fanvideos often show successful relationships. I wanted to show how two people can have passion and spark, but that doesn't guarantee a relationship. Amy is too wrapped up in travelling with The Doctor and Ruby is working through so many self-love issues associated with her werewolf and human identities, dealing with having two personalities, and living in a post-curse storybrooke, which is a trial until itself. Both are passionate strong women who have self-confidence issues. They are separated too much and they do not communicate. I really tried to show two people who have fantastical lives but do not communicate about them to each other. Worse still, they idealize those lives and each other rather than getting to know and understand either. Watch for shots where they could be talking, but they both seem unable to do so. While they have chemistry and care for each other, neither of them communicates their wants, needs, or desires. I hope you all enjoy!Synopsis and audio below---Synopsis:The Doctor wants to show Rose, Martha, Donna, & Amy the fairy tale world, but magic & the TARDIS do not mix and in her explosive reaction, she sends 11 & companions safely to places where they are needed. She sends 11 to combat Regina, Rose to teach Rumpelstiltskin to love, Martha to help Jefferson escape Wonderland, Donna to help Red Riding Hood through wolf time, and Amy to Belle to encourage traveling.The course of true love never did run smooth, & evil always fights back. Regina enacts the curse before Martha & Jefferson can escape Wonderland. I went from Uni in Canada to working in Italy over the summer to Uni in Scotland. So my life's been all full of changes and new experiences. Anyways, These are my parts for CrossedOverMe's 10th crossover collab: Part 5 and Part 20. The pairing is Spencer Reid and Rose Tyler, from Criminal Minds and Doctor Who, respectively. I was going for a romantic relationship. He convinces her to let go of the time vortex, because he loves her and it is killing her, but it leaves her in a coma. Why? {DoctorWho/Sanctuary Crossover} helenluvsboo 2011-07-24 | Yeah... that "I'm coming home" vidlet was supposed to be a one-off.Apparently, my muse had other ideas.Now I have to explain why they are together in the first place.This video takes place BEFORE the previous one. This one is about how they meet. AKA, Rory doesn't exist. Sorry.In Sanctuverse, it takes place before Season 2's "Penance" and also has Jinny playing a closer connection to Helen... someone who the Sanctuary Network calls upon often....In other words......Look at me re-write Who-story and Sanctu-story! =P---Plot:The 11th Doctor and Amy are called to a parallel earth, aiding a trapped abnormal (starwhale) in need on said parallel earth.Helen Magnus and Jimmy arrive to investigate. The Doctor is about to turn the Starwhale into a vegetable in order to save the lives of the dependent people.Helen Magnus believes that she can save the Starwhale with more time. The Doctor refuses to listen. She shoots him eith an EM Pulse stunner that wrecks havoc on his body and and kills him with no chance of regeneration... something Helen did not intend to happen.Amy is now stranded on the Parallel world. And Rory never existed. (Also, I live in the real world where Amy doesn't remember someone who never existed... none of that crying for no reason BS.)Because of his hand in the Doctor's death, her awesomeness, and all the rest of the guilt he carries, Jimmy decides to take her in and help her heal because she has nowhere else to go. An act of penance for his own past wrongs hurting others and a step towards making a real connection with someone.He leaves the Sanctuary team to do so. He tells Helen to go so that dhe will not be there when Amy wakes.When Amy wakes, she appraises Jimmy......And that is where their journey together begins.=DLimited clips of Jimmy due to the fact that he only appears in one episode of Sanctuary.I considered using Stargate SG-1 Daniel Jackson clips, but decided against it in the end.Credits at the end of the video....After completing my "Coming Home" vidlet, I was listening to the main song (See credits at the end of the video) and I thought of creating a background for these two. Im NOT the One... {CrossedOverMe Collab part 16} helenluvsboo 2011-07-11 | Hi Everyone, Due to my computer issues and current lifestyle, I was unable to submit my collab parts for CrossedOverMeCollab's I'm NOT the One video. But I put a lot of work into them and like how they turned out, despite my lack of TVD footage, so I am posting them anyways. I did parts 11 and 16. My Pairing: Franky/Damon Fandoms Used: Skins/TVD Overarching Plot: Damon saves her from falling and Franky wants to trust him, despite Mini's deterrents. In Part 11, Franky sees Damon for the first time since he saved her from dying and contemplates going into a relationship with him. Mini tries to deter her. In Part 16, Franky relives her near-death-experience, Damon comes back to see her, Mini flips out trying to keep them apart.
