Water then accumulated for a long time to form Lake Toya. Repeated eruptions about 50,000 years ago in Lake Toya created Nakajima Islands, located in the center of Lake Toya. Mt. Usu, began erupting approximately 20,000 years ago. Mt. Usu has erupted at least nine times since 1663 – four times in the 20th century alone (1910, 1944 – 1945, 1977 – 1978, 2000). The latest eruption of Mt. Usu in 2000 destroyed several buildings and caused damages to Toyako Town. Prompt evacuation orders and disaster preparations by local residents, however, prevented casualties. Nagoya From Above- Shot on RED Weapon 8K and Ronin-M- Armadas 2017-05-24 | Nagoya from above is a 4K(Originally shot in 8K) aerial video of Nagoya City. I shot this with the help of Nakanihon Air Service and their AS350 helicopter and Ronin-M camera stabilizer. Due to gimbal payload and cabin size, I chose Ronin-M and Canon 24mm EF F2.8 IS USM. For the future project, Ronin 2 and heavier zoom lens will be used.
