217 MPH World Record TSkaggsOfVegas 2012-05-23 | Jim Peruto, driving car # 330, a 2006 Dodge Charger set a record with an average speed of 217 MPH. I spoke with Jim and he thinks his top speed was 252 and he went through the Narrows at 140. At 217 MPH he completed the 90 miles in about 25 minutes.
