Beating Triangle Cave in V44 DensityDestiny 2024-08-27 | The start is pretty simple. From 6-82 the plan is to save as much money as possible to make up for the fact that you lose 1620 from the price nerfs in v44 while also dealing with slower glue restock. Past r82 just hope you get good carpet timings and don’t lose too much money prior to r98. Robo pierce nerf, genie bonus damage nerf, and shooty damage nerf actually doesn’t effect 90-100 that much. In Paul’s run he held on to his cash instead of simply buying sharpening stones on 91 and robo monkey when he could. Due to r12 Geraldo I used rejuv instead of genie for r96 but otherwise it’s basically the same run but you buy all the upgrades when you can. With R14 Geraldo: R16 - 1 spikeR19 - 1 spike (Snowball from r16)R24 - 1 spikeR36 - 1 jar pickleR37 - 2 creepy idolsR40 - 1 jar pickle + 1 glue (Just place previous glue higher)R49 - 1 jar pickle (-1 creepy idol because I messed up on this run)R63 - 1 Jerry fire R64 - 1 jar pickleR69 - 1 jar pickle + 1 glueR80 - 1 blade maelstrom (-1 spike but it might not be needed)R82 - 1 glue + 5 spikes (Snowball)R94 - 1 mael (Robo does its job so no need to mael to help it)With r12 Geraldo:R22 - 1 glue (Shooty restocks earlier because r12 Geraldo)R34-35 - 220 (Paul forgot to record but its probably r34 which I defended by placing glue on r30 instead)The run still isn’t perfect. Messed up r49 which cost me 110. Also lost money past r82 but because I saved so much 6-82 it was still beatable. R63 would be easier to just use 3 glues 2 creepy idols because I ended up saving a glue on r69. In the end it’s just a copy of Paul’s run but you don’t use any items you don’t need to. Also almost certainly possible with r14 Geraldo considering how much you can save.
