This is from our trip to Blowing Rock and Boone, North Carolina! NC is one of our favorite states of the ones we've visited so far. We were able to bring Boo along on this road trip and stayed at a pet friendly place. Here we visit Apple Hill Farm, where they take care of alpacas and llamas, along with many other farm animals. We also went on some short but scenic hikes in the area.
Our second vlog from this trip will be coming soon. In the next one, we will be going on the scariest hike we've ever been on!

Hiking Blood Mountain | Vlog 36

Blood Mountain is the sixth tallest mountain in Georgia. It's also the highest peak on the Georgia section of the Appalachian Trail. Impressed? Watch as we take on this 4,458' stair master with our exceptional rock climbing skills and fast paced speed hiking. Enjoy.

Exploring The Shining Hotel: Rocky Mountain National Park Vacation Vlog #31

We visited Colorado for the first time! Estes Park is were we will be staying during our visit. Estes Park is home to the Rocky Mountain National Park. Before we explored the Rocky Mountains, we explored downtown Estes Park, including the haunted Stanley Hotel. The Stanley Hotel is were Steven King famously stayed. He was so disturbed by the hotel that he was inspired to write the novel The Shining. We also discovered to our surprise, that one of our favorite films, Dumb and Dumber, was filmed there! Enjoy!

Soarin' Around The World - Full Ride POV - Walt Disney World Epcot 2018

"The attraction was duplicated, simply as Soarin', and officially opened inside "The Land" pavilion at Epcot in Walt Disney World on May 5, 2005. Unlike the Disney California Adventure version, the idea is that guests are taking flights to California, rather than already being there. This is further reinforced in the theming that you are loaded into "gates" and with airport-themed spiels which reference "Flight 5505", which is a homage to the opening day of the attraction. Its cast members wear costumes that resemble flight attendant costumes, whereas the California version uses airfield crew costumes.

The Epcot standby queue originally featured pictures of natural wonders from around the world, not just California. There was very little reference to the fact that the ride only featured California at the time. The queue currently utilizes a new infrared technology that allows guests to participate in interactive games. In 2009, this interactive game technology appeared in the Magic Kingdom as part of a seven-month overhaul of Space Mountain.

The attraction closed for refurbishment on January 4, 2016, originally slated to reopen on June 17, with a third theater to coincide with the release of the new Soarin' Around the World film. The ride reopened with the original film on May 27, with the change to the new film occurring on June 17, 2016."- Wiki

Test Track - Front Row Full Ride POV - Walt Disney World Epcot 2018

"After riders board the sim-cars and the seat belts are fastened, the car that they designed will undergo four different tests: capability, efficiency, responsiveness, and power. In the capability test the car first connects to OnStar, then accelerates past a rain projection and skids out of control. Next, the continuing path disappears and the sim-car turns around to speed up again. A short time later, the sim-car makes a sharp left turn as a lighting bolt strikes. The car then passes by a futuristic city. Following the capability test, the results of which car designs scored the best in the test are displayed. The sim-car then begins the efficiency test. In the first part, the sim-cars are scanned for "optimum eco-efficiency". The second test performs an aero-dynamic test on the vehicle. Finally, a "hyper-spectrum imaging" takes place. Again, after the test is complete, the best scores are displayed. The third test, responsiveness, is next. The sim-car accelerates around hairpin turns with laser-projected trees. It then enters a tunnel to encounter the 18-wheeler from the original version though it is now shown with lasers. When the vehicle exits the tunnel, the results for the responsiveness test are displayed and all of the test icons are displayed. The final test is power where the sim-car stops for a moment then accelerates through flashing purple arches to a wall with the ride's logo on it leading to the outside portion of the ride. Just after the ride exits the building, a picture of the guests is taken. As the sim-car's speed is increased, it makes a right turn, followed by a wide left, a straight section, and one final long left turn. When the test is complete, the vehicle returns to the loading station where the next riders board. Then, guests use their MagicBand, ticket, or design key that has their Chevrolet Custom Concept Vehicle that they made in the Design Studio to play games and make an ad in the "Chevrolet Showroom." In the showroom, you can also check out some of the newest vehicles Chevrolet has created in their lineup. There is also a gift shop located at the exit like the original version of the ride.
