For those of you who don’t know, July 17 is Jackunzel’s anniversary on YouTube because that is the day xChasetheWind posted the first YouTube video about Jackunzel. Yay! I tried to include the whole shebang: them meeting, their first date with the lights, Jackunzel family, the proposal, the wedding, and their anniversary. I’ve only done one real mask before I started this video, and I ended up just going crazy. I did 18 of my own, I think, but I also made use of those masking giveaways you can find on YouTube (credits to their makers below). It felt nice to go back to something familiar, even if I was approaching it in a different way. Jackunzel is my OTP, so vidding them will always make me happy. However, crashes do not make me happy, and all Vegas seemed to want to do was crash so that’s fun. It took a long time to do (which is why I’m posting so late today), but I’m proud of how it turned out. (Also just wanted to say I’m really proud of that hug manip. I was also kind of disappointed because the red, yellow, and green edits had all finished on the 7th render, but this finished on the 6th render. (However, blue ended up being 8 renders and I still like it so I think I was just looking for a reason to hate it). So, the editing style. It's the kind of editing style I would see and fangirl over because I think it's so cool, but I don't actually enjoy doing it. Maybe if I felt particularly inspired I might do it again, but it's been my least favorite style so far (this is after doing red, orange, yellow, green, and purple). I also hate loops unless the editing has those bouncy transitions, but I did a loop anyway because the edit was too short. I had steered away from Marvel previously because I hadn’t liked the first movie I watched from their studio (Civil War). However, my friend, along with edits and stuff I’ve seen on YouTube, persuaded me to watch it- and I liked it! This was a super quick edit, and it really shows. I didn’t like it, but I think adding text and effects might have saved it a bit. Anyway, even though I did this edit, I am not planning to steer away from Non/Disney stuff anytime soon. This was just sort of a way to release my love for the movie and trailer onto something. This is also the first time I am using non-free editing programs. I just can't think of anything for the next line: “Mister Glass, the world has a way”. If you know a clip from RTTE that fits this, please tell me as then I will be able to finish the project. Until then, all I have is this preview. By the way, once it's finished, I will probably add text and effects. So, why did I do Hiccunzel? Simple: Rapunzel fits the girl in the song better. I want this video to focus on the meaning of the song rather than Hiccup Haddock, so it only made sense to cast the most appropriate characters for ones in the story.If you don't understand the song, I'll explain. It's basically about a shy boy that no one notices until he's broken down, similar to how glass is invisible until it is broken and you can see the cracks. The song ends on a happy note, but unfortunately I'm not that far yet. Also, the first movie is still my favorite :)PROS- That animation guys! It was gorgeous and the scenery, especially the sand and water, looked unbelievably real.- That ending! (I put more cons than pros but that's just because my pros are really broad and my cons are very specific. I promise I loved the movie!)CONS- When Berk left, they sent no word to their allies. Either it's a plot hole, Berk doesn't care about their allies, or it will be explained in the Rescue Riders show coming out (maybe the Berserkers were killed or something?)- It focused too much on Hiccstrid instead of the whole gang. Although I love all the Hiccstrid stuff, all the dragon riders matter to me! For example, where were the other dragon riders at the end? All of them were very attached to their dragons and surely would have gone back, but they weren't shown.- The Snotlout and Valka thing. No more needs to be said here.- Where was Fishlegs’ nerdiness? I know they showed a couple scenes, but for the most part he was more epic than nerdy. Where was Snotlout's character that they have been building up in RTTE? He wouldn't hit on Valka. Where were the twins’ ingenious? I know they do stupid things and genius things, but the movie left the genius part out.

I haven't done Mericcup yet and this seemed like the perfect opportunity. There is a story for this one, so please read it!STORY: Hiccup and Merida were a couple. They were doing target practice. Merida shot a bull's eye, and Hiccup, trying to show off, shot in the middle of her arrow. This made Merida mad and they got in a fight, but now they both feel guilty about it. It also deleted all comments I've made on other videos (I think). Just to be clear, you can still make new comments on my videos, just all the old ones were deleted. Lastly, I changed my name from MoonStrike Lvr to just MoonStrike. I saw this song in a Jackunzel MEP and that combined with the fact that I've been rewatching Race to the Edge inspired me to make this video. I forgot how easy it was to edit with Hiccstrid! I thought about adding effects or text, but I like the simplicity of it right now.
