Nintendo Entertainment System M8 Demo Kiosk - Main Menu & Theme Vin 2023-09-04 | *RARE THING DUMPED ALERT**RARE THING DUMPED ALERT*Now that I have your attention, this is the main menu/bootup for the extremely rare NES M8 kiosk. not to be confused with the M82 kiosk, which is as rare, the M8 was used in stores at the time to promote the NES and its games. The M8 had 15 games it could hold, including classics like SMB1, Duck Hunt, Excitebike... Soccer. also they couldn't be easily swapped out.Today, you can barely find an M8, and if you do find one, expect it to cost both of your kidneys. Game enthusiasts DO manage to get some, but I think the average consumer is unable to get one unfortunately :(The screen seen here is similar to the M82's, but the Nintendo logo's shape is... odd, different music is playing, and the game select text is in a blue border and a blue border only, no changing colors or anything.I really wanna thank Forest of Illusion (RIP), more specifically Voodooween, for dumping this very rare piece of Nintendo history. yall are awesome ✌️Now, here is the menu in pixel-perfect 4K 60fps!!! M&D/Monon Color (2014) Vin 2023-07-12 | ok this one also has a reason to be public. this console is extremely rare. in fact, I don't think you can buy it outside of its home country. not even ebay can help you.The Monon Color is a handheld console (yeah. another one.) made by a chinese toy company called M&D. before this released, M&D released another handheld conse called the Dream Dragon and was based on the popular Roco Kingdom franchise. The Monon Color looked really cool but had graphics from a GBA (like the gp32, but that released at the same time as the Advance). There are 20 known games, some of which include popular franchises like the Avengers and Dragon Ball. it was slightly successful.I wanna thank the MAME team for putting the work to emulate this strange system, even if the audio is not present in any of the games (again, strange console). I could honestly imagine how much of a pain in the ass it was to get details on the console and its specs and whatnot. Yall rock! Keep on preserving gaming history!Seen when you boot up the console.
GamePark 32 (GP32) (2001) Vin 2023-07-12 | here we go another public logo upload oh boybut this time, a really special (and rare) console that never made it here in the states.The GP32 is a handheld console made by a South korean company called Gamepark Holdings released on November 23rd. It competed with the Game Boy Advance, and it sported an ARM 9 CPU with 8 MB of SDRAM. Unlike those stinky boring basic cartridges, the GP32 used something called SmartMedia cards for storing its data. The console is more powerful than the aforementioned GBA and eventually became a homebrew console spawning multiple emulators, which is an impressive feat for a handheld console from the early 2000s. damn. you could even get games via an internet download. too bad this thing wasn't released worldwide.Seen when you boot up the console (Non-european firmware), more specifically on my end, version 1.5.7

Nintendo 64DD (Japan) (1999) Vin 2023-04-23 | 𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨, 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐨a very obscure but very interesting piece of technology. the 64DD was an addon for the 64 that played games on floppies. it could even connect to the internet via a service called Randnet... back then. there were no memorable games aside from the mario artist series (if you could even consider those games) and a few japanese exclusives. it failed. I'm not surprised honestly. there were supposed to be more ports of existing N64 games and some games that were meant to release for the 64DD went to cartridge like Mario RPG 2 (Paper Mario), Ultra Donkey Kong (DK64), Pokémon Snap & Stadium 1 & 2, Kirby 64, and Zelda 64 & Gaiden (released as Ocarina of Time & Majora's Mask respectively). hell it was supposed to have a Mario 64 port and sequel, as well as a release in the US.There have already been uploads of this startup online, but most of them are not really that good imo (sorry) so now here it is in glorious 4K... in its original resolutionSeen when you boot up the 64DDAnd since this is public, check out the playlist:

I got into Sonic because of both the first Mario & Sonic at The Olympic Games and Sonic 2. When I was about 7 years old, I was using the Wii when I saw a game called "Sonic The Hedgehog 2". I played it for a bit and I ENJOYED it! 2 years later, I tried out Mario and Sonic on my DS and also enjoyed it! Soon, when I was 11, I got myself more into Sonic. I got merch, got more games (Unfortunately I got Boom: Shattered Crystal) and I liked them all! (Again, except Boom) Later, I even beat 1, Mania, and Forces! (but that was honestly a short game)Even though the blue blur has his ups and downs, I will still forever love him the same. I've made a video about Sonic's history. Sorry if I missed a lot of games.
