I rescued a Wedge-tailed Eagle! tirouspsss 2024-03-23 | I was on the way to East Tower Hill (near Mathinna, Tasmania), came across this juvenile WTE that was having trouble getting airborne. It turns out he(?) had a looong piece of dead possum wrapped around his left wing. I unwrapped it, then made sure he could still fly, thus assume uninjured - which he wasn't! :)
