B) Experimenting with various styles and departing from the expected is often one of my favorite things to do when doing covers, and and it also gave me a chance to do my favorite kind of weird, layered, semi-chaotic harmonic vocals, so I'm happy! Most touching love story about a homunculus and an axe-key-thing I've ever seen, 10/10.

Area Zero Acapella Cover - Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Tezas Tunes 2023-11-15 | Hello there! This is my original acapella arrangement of the Area Zero theme from Pokemon Scarlet and Violet! It also contains a small snippet of the Crystal Pool theme from the same game's DLC, but just the very ending part~ I am honestly super duper proud of how this came out, so I really hope you'll enjoy it too! I normally don't say this, but if you do enjoy it, leaving a like and comment would be much appreciated~I won't go too into detail to avoid spoilers, but I'm sure I'm not the only person who was absolutely blown away when I first heard the Area Zero theme in game. It took me some time to figure out how I'd put this cover together, but now that I have, I really couldn't be prouder! Even the percussion is all done by hand, as per usual for me--in this case, I used a couple of new things! On top of the usual punching a book and whacking a cooking pot for the drums, I also incorporated my finger cymbals and the new rainstick I got, which I think added some really neat ambience to it! Anarchy Rainbow - Splatoon 3 Acapella Cover Tezas Tunes 2022-08-29 | Hello there! This is my original acapella arrangement of "Anarchy Rainbow" from the upcoming Splatoon 3! Vocals done by me (Teza Belmond), with my beloved friends acting as the inkling background vocals in the chorus! I hope you enjoy it :D First half has the main vocals, second half showcases just the "instrumental"!You know, I'd never been a Splatoon fan before this, but the second I heard Anarchy Rainbow, I was completely mesmerized by it. It's such a cool song with so many influences, and I LOVE it! So I started working on a cover right away--since the game's not out yet at the time of me making/posting this, I had to work very hard to try and hear all the little nuances of the chord progressions and stuff through the posts of the song that ARE on YouTube, and I don't think I did half bad! My main references were the song itself that was posted on Nintendo's channel, and the instrumental version that could be heard faintly in the background of Deep Cut's first Splatfest announcement!I had a really fun time trying to match the vocal filter, and while it may not be perfect, I'd say I didn't do too bad! The rendering of the lyrics is also my best interpretation of them, and it's mainly based on and read like Japanese syllabary would be. I extended a few vowels, like 'huu's and 'shii's and all of that, and it's possible that many of the 'l's could be 'r's and vice versa, and same with 'k's versus 'g's. Still, I think they're parsable, so if you want to sing along, you can! Since Ophelia was well received, I thought I might upload another of my fan-boss themes: A theme for my fan Intoner, Ten! The ruler of the Land of Fields, Ten is a highly intelligent, straight-laced, perfectly composed ruler who oversees her kingdom peacefully... That is, as long as you don't try to change anything. As each Intoner has something that grows at an increasingly dangerous rate, Ten's anxiety is her curse, a burden that has grown and grown and ultimately left her as she is now: A seemingly peaceful "princess" with a phobia of change who is liable to fly into a rage and kill anything or anyone who attempts to disturb her "perfect" kingdom. With the aid of her disciple, Milliare, Ten summons her angel, Barachiel, to dispose of any foes who would try and change her perfect, flawless system.This is actually a song I put together back in 2016, but I think it still holds up! As ever, I did my own spin on the chaos language to make Ten's lyrics, though sadly I no longer have the document where I wrote them down, so I can't offer a translation. But I still love this song and all its aspects! It was fun trying to figure out how to replicate the Intoner vocal filter, and trying to make my own song that still fit in with the style of the game. A choral singer who fights with all the force of a thunderstorm, she calls up faceless, shadowy singers in order to back her up both on vocals and on the battlefield. Having just barely gained approval during her audition in front of the artists of No Straight Roads, the stage on which she performs is only half finished, and she does not actually have power there... Yet despite this, Mayday and Zuke are more than ready to cause some mayhem for the stormy singer! Despite her skill, Ophelia makes music for all the wrong reasons, using it as a way to run away, deflect, and escape from her past.I LOVE No Straight Roads, and I couldn't resist trying to put myself to the test of making my very own song and character concept. It's even my first time trying to do EDM, so I hope I was able to pull it off and blend it both with Ophelia's choral stylings and a touch of rock! Locus ~ Alexander Boss Theme - FFXIV Acapella Cover Tezas Tunes 2021-12-18 | Hello there! This is my original acapella arrangement of "Locus" (aka one of the Alexander boss themes) from FFXIV! Vocals by me (Teza Belmond)! With this being a very technology-based theme, it was fun to try and convert it into something exclusively vocal. Fun fact: The percussion was made by me slapping my computer's shell (perhaps not the best idea, but thematic) and a little egg shaker I had around. And then I drew my and my sweetheart's characters for the glowstick dancers! Originally the plan was to actually do that glowstick dancing in-game, but uh, well. Fleeting Words ~ Family - NieR Replicant Acapella Cover Tezas Tunes 2021-08-29 | Here's my original acapella arrangement of "Fleeting Words ~ Family", from NieR Replicant! Vocals by Teza Belmond (me!) I wanted to do something a little different from the original version and try to give it a more... maybe siren song-ish feel, given where and how it plays in game. In the second half, I took away the main vocals to reflect the absence of Louise, and as a result you can hear where I converted the background chorus from the "Outsider" version of the song to match the style of this one. This is such a beautiful song, and I hope I did it justice! Louise's story and all the NPCs that tied into it made me cry...Apologies for the choppily edited video! I had made a much more elaborate one, but due to rendering issues with my video editor, I had to scrap it, as the video had some rapid flickering that I couldn't get rid of and I didn't want to cause anyone with sensitivity to that issues.
