Gene lost it” SE Lock and Key 2023-07-14 | In this video we are going to take a look at the D30 series deadbolt, which oddly enough they only seem to sell in double cylinder.I will note (again and again) that double cylinder deadbolts are not appropriate for most settings as it is against fire code in many areas. There are some exceptions and one good example is a privately owned garden gate, for instance leading from the backyard to the front yard, or another section of a yard.Situations like that combined with the narrow “bar metal” used on some of these gates are thin, there is no egress hazard, and it’s privately owned gives these deadbolts with the covered screws a good use.Let’s take a look!

Animal Rescue Fund (ARF) Broken Into Again SE Lock and Key 2023-07-04 | FYI: There isn’t any real lock related work in this video :) Even though the locks were ok in fact while we were waiting on the new door (a few days) the same locks were used until new door came in. Mostly it was boarding up the glass and coming back to put brand new locks on the new door we had one of our great door companies Triple E Door out of Flowood MS come install. Break in on the morning of June 27th.
