Configuration of the 3rd channel for the special mode "Hihat" noise. Done in Deflemask as an example: AMS:1 Algorythm:6 Feeback:6 Op1: A: D: S: D2: R: MULT: RS: DT: AM: SSG-EG: 31 0 0 0 15 0 0 0 No No Note: Detune: Vibrato: LFO Control: D-5 E59D 04F3 1017 Op2: A: D: S: D2: R: MULT: RS: DT: AM: SSG-EG: 31 0 0 0 15 13 0 -2 Yes No Note: Detune: Vibrato: LFO Control: D-5 E59D 04F3 1017 Algorythm Pattern: ┌─┐ -[ 1 ] [ 2 ]┐ [ 3 ]┼─ [ 4 ]┘ The "hihat" is played on Operators 1 & 2 whilst the "Snare" and "Bass Drum" additionally uses Operator 3.
Using these settings and this sound whilst taking a page from the Follin bros' book only the volume on Op2 was modulated and thus giving the "Hihat" effect.
This leaves Operator 4 to be free to be used for the central Sine-wave as well as filling out the center "Bass Pad".
"Stereo Effect": The "Stereo Effect" was done by hardpanning 2 channels left and right and having them play the same thing whilst modulating the output, giving the illusion of stereo-panning.
The one exception to this was the "Stereo Effect" applied to the Sine-wave that starts at roughly 58 seconds into the song. This one uses Op4 on Channel3 and one other channel (Channel Number 4) that is hardpanned left at first with zero volume that is then increased to "drag" the sound towards the left whilst Op4 reduces it's own volume.
This is then reversed to cause the Sine-wave to get "dragged" back towards the center.
When the Sine-wave gets centered back after the hardpanned channels volume hits 0 again it flips to being hardpanned right instead and the process repeats itself.
"Stereo-widening": The "Stereo-widening" on the "Main Bass" was done via having it play on two separate hardpanned channels at the same time and having one of them detuned by roughly 0.16 semi notes.
This causes the sound to get "wider" whilst volume modulation to cause the general "Stereo Effect" to take place.
As for the samples being played the same configuration as in the one by "The Blender Fiddler" was used. Meaning 2 looped samples being played at the same time and having their volumes modulated.SNES: Demons Crest: Beyond the Colloseum: Sega Genesis/MegaDrive Cover/RemixMillecollin2022-12-19 | Tbh the dualpcm or 2x looped sample method in the videos by "The Blender Fiddler" almost feels like cheating, but it works :DSNES: Earthbound: Monotoli Building & Hotel: Sega Genesis/MegaDrive Cover/RemixMillecollin2022-11-09 | Since the last cover/remix was a bust because of Google's copyright bots thinking the remix was too close to the original here's a two for one instead, the Monotoli Building theme when the power's gone out and the "El Bimbo//Bimbo Jet" inspired Hotel theme.Welp.... Made in FL Studio using the VOPM plugin (I'd use Deflemask for more than just compressing the samples, but that thing doesn't support the full sample capabilities of the Sega which can do 4x1bit samples at the same time if documentation is to believe.) and samples ripped from the game directly and put through Deflemask for that delicious crust.SNES: Earthbound: Boss Swirl & Your Sanctuary Guardian: Sega Genesis/MegaDrive Cover/RemixMillecollin2021-10-24 | Decided to have a little fun with the video this time around, resolution being the 320x224 that the Sega can put out and tried doing some earthbound background thing with it.

Made in FL Studio using the VOPM plugin.PS1: Crash Bandicoot: Theme/N-Sanity Beach/Map: Sega Genesis/MegaDrive Cover/RemixMillecollin2021-05-18 | MASSIVE post in description for everyone curious about most of the various instrument settings:
Well, here's the awful Deflemask thing I hinted at about a month ago or something, why this program still does not have the full 4x 4bit sample support is beyond me.
So I had to resort to attempt to make the bongo's and bass drum the good old-fashioned FM way.
Before anyone asks no there will not be any download for the project file, because I wouldn't even know where to put it to begin with.
What i can give though is the VOPM settings I translated from FL Studio to Defklemask, settings are running left to right, note these are the VOPM settings, you guys can figure it out from that and make appropriate modifications to the outputs of C1 and C2 to avoid clipping in Deflemask: "Marimba": 4th config FL:7 TL AR D1R D1L D2R RR KS MUL DT1 DT2 M1: 34 21 20 7 6 15 2 6 3 0 C1: 0 21 17 8 10 15 2 1 2 0 M2: 32 23 11 3 5 15 3 5 3 0 C2: 0 19 11 6 12 15 3 4 7 0
"Brass/Tuba": 3rd config FL:5 TL AR D1R D1L D2R RR KS MUL DT1 DT2
Special notice: The DT2 settings in VOPM represent a Detune of semi-notes and such these "bongos" are ran through the special-mode on the 3rd channel in Deflemask. A value of 1 in DT2 equals 6 semi-notes up from the key, value of 2 equals 8 semi-notes up and a value of 3 equals 9.5 semi-notes up.
"Low bongo Root key D1": 4th config FL:7 TL AR D1R D1L D2R RR KS MUL DT1 DT2
The FM Bass drum shouldn't be too hard for people to figure out, it's just a short attack, quick decay thing that's quickly pitched down.GBA: Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga: Boss: Sega Genesis/MegaDrive Cover/RemixMillecollin2021-04-24 | Welp... FL Studio, as always. Feedback on the current progress is as always welcome.wip: PS1: Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped: Future Frenzy: Sega Genesis/Megadrive Cover/RemixMillecollin2021-01-12 | I can't for the life of me figure out how to make the hard right-panned taurus bass synth sound that's in the original, so I gave up, at least the regular bass and the "center bloops" (Both the "bop-bop-pause-bloop" and the "short bleep") instruments worked out ok'ish.
Made in FL Studio with the VOPM plugin as usual, the samples were put through Audacity at a sample rates of 11025HZ and 22050HZ, exported as mono .wav files, pushed through Deflemask and recorded as such, then used in FL Studio because Deflemask doesn't support multi-sample playback.wip NeoGeo: Metal Slug 3: Desert: Sega Genesis/Megadrive Cover/RemixMillecollin2020-11-03 | Not dead just yet, just low on inspiration and spare time.

Whats wrong with Google and their automated system...?Millecollin2018-07-13 | I've filed a dispute to this claim that the cover/remix I made close to 4-5 years ago is the song that they're now "selling" in an "album", which is most likely not going to give a single cent to the original composers of the songs they're using in the album.
This is why I HATE automated systems, they're prone to be abused by people who don't have a brain capacity large enough for their ears to hear that the video being claimed IS NOT THE RECORDING THEY CLAIM IT TO BE.
And if they dare try and say I've just uploaded their version of the song, then guess what, I have the original FruityLoops project file and can show Google that it's not their shitty 8-bit version.WIP: PC: Undertale: Ruins: Sega Genesis/MegaDrive Cover/RemixMillecollin2018-05-15 | Read the description:
