Hecate Music - I Come From The Star (Original Fantasy Music) Hecate Music 2024-12-07 | Finally finishing this original piece (Instagram followers may know I am struggling with this for over a month)!! This may be the best thing to conclude my composing year of 2024. During the year, I explored several libraries including orchestral and modern electronics. Also I finally forced myself to learn some fundamentals on orchestrations and music theories. Sure there is still a long way to go but I think I can have some greediness to spend what I learnt on an original piece.I planned to release 3 original music as a trilogic story and "I Come From The Star" is the first & main theme. I wished them to be varied among composing techniques and emotions. Again, I may want to tell the story behind, but what I want more is to let others to imagine while listening to it. So far the story was phenomenon and full of unexpected twists. The existence of soundtracks was weak in the first 3 episodes, and kind of... can be used better by the sound director. Still I can trace one to two main theme by Kensuke Ushio (Dandadan, The Dangers in My Heart, Chainsaw Man, Silence Voice....) from the PV and episodes. This cover is quite experimental on some ambient kinds. Hiroyuki Sawano『Mecha-Ude: Main Theme』(Full Cover) Mechanical Arms EP3 OST『メカウデ』3話 BGM 澤野 弘之 Hecate Music 2024-10-18 | OK Sawano confirmed since there is a slower version of the main theme!And interestingly mecha-ude became my favorite show this season. The story is easy, direct, and fast-pace. The animation is not that smooth and detailed, but the skills of camera angle, composition, and fight designs compensate them, making the show a better quality. Somehow it makes me recall many classical animes, like kill la kill, but more is Tokyo Ghoul. The usage of mechanical arms are like kagune. Aki and hikari are like Touka and Kaneki, where the former protects first and the latter becomes stronger later on. Wish more people pick up the show!My other favorites this season are Dandadan and orbs. Dungeon Meshi - Soundtrack Cover Medley Vol. 1「ダンジョン飯」サウンドトラック BGM Delicious in Dungeon 光田康典 Hecate Music 2024-06-15 | Glad I pick up this anime after half of the episodes were done. Truly have fun watching Laio's team fighting and cooking in the dungeon. The style of the story was serious and playful at the same time, which is definitety Studio Trigger's best feature, and they did it so well. We still have season 2, so lets look forward to the remaining plot of the story. In my honest opinion, Yasunori Mitsuda did a really great job for his work here. They are atmospheric and immersive which fit the story at a high level. Yet they match the story so much that I can hardly find a lot of unique soundtracks in the anime. Its not a poor thing tho. He is totally successful for the job. Here is a combination of my covers for Yasunori Mitsuda's work in Dungeon Meshi Season 1. With a complete sound library for a full orchestra, I tried a lot of orchestral techniques this time, including more articulations and dynamics to make it as lively as possible.
